Nice! My mom found a little sparrow almost lifeless, on the street, about a week ago. She brought him to me and I've been taking care of him. I did some reiki, he started to eat, drink and has been slowly recovering from an injury on its righ wing and today he started to fly! Now I can't let him go without first teaching him to hunt bugs - how in the world am I going to do that?
Wow Goldenlight, what a very touching dream. I do dream of birds often myself. And from what i understand is..birds,often speak from our higher selves. They are our higher thoughts in our dreams connecting with the universe, flying out of our familiar nest, and venturing out into the world learning new things. I hope that was of great interpretation for you Goldenlight. I appreciate your thoughts and interpretation, Dreamprofessor. I wonder what I was doing at the time as it would help to understand the dream better.
Bet you felt pretty good after that Yes, I did. Thank you.
Bet you felt pretty good after that

Thank you Sinoblak.
GoldenLight, I think that you're rediscovering your "ability to fly" in the huge heap of nonsense in your waking life. I tried to write a long interpretation, but I think that it might serve you better.
None in my dreams, Rob - just in waking life.
I don't know too much about reiki, except that you can use the divine energy for healing, etc. I will have to read up. Have you tried any healing or reiki exercises in any of your LD's?
Nope - wanna try?
it's just that I don't think I'm tough enough to be assertive like Eva could be if I ever meet her again. In lieu of your most recent dream with Eva, I find this comment to very intriguing. You took the LEAD in the library, Link. Eva held back. She appeared unable to take the lead or you noted, she looked ill. So, perhaps that prompted you to BE ASSERTIVE LIKE EVA. Did you realized that happened in your most recent dream? [QUOTEThe way I see, if I were to die now, and suddenly wake up in another reality, all the worries, the stress, etc., I had in the previous life would seem like nothing anymore. I know that it's best to live this life through as much as possible, because the idea that I would have to start over if I gave up or something still encroaches my mind occasionally, which leaves me in a "ugh, whatever..." momen][/QUOTE] Some people believe that we choose this life and these circumstances before we are born to these bodies. For we have need of learning particular emotions or traits - and so when we choose our circumstances they are such that we can develop the necessary traits/emotions required. But if we, in this life, end our time here, it means we have cut short our lessons and we will need to return to repeat those lessons. All things shall pass in time, Link. All things. And no matter how negative or sad or even happy you might feel now, these things move on. So we must learn to accept how we feel and move on. I believe the more we experience in life, the more emotions, situations, and people we encounter, we learn to be that much empathetic toward others and to ourselves. Think for second (sorry to go all Yoda on you! ) about a situation you may have experienced and then when you meet someone else who is going through that experience how much easier it is for you to understand them. That's just my two cents. My bottom line after all this rambling yoda-like crap - you matter and you have just begun to live so there's so much more to come. Everything passes - My mother is fighting stage IV colon cancer right now. The tumors shrink then they grow. Life is a roller coaster and when we see the ride other people are on, sometimes, ours doesn't look so bad! (Just got a text telling me that she must now undergo radiation so that little blurb popped out! ) Take care Link, and remember - you matter. Life changes on a dime.
This dream sounds strong, GoldenLight, no matter how short it is. Did you try to interpret it?
That's very kind, RobStar. I tried for a while to use Reiki. Do you know of it? But I did not follow their exact method. I used my own, I guess. I have no idea what this dream meant, but the dream was so sad at first. I have had a lot of dreams about birds over the years.
Wow that is a great dream GoldenLight. It is an amazing thing that you practice healing powers like that automatically in your dream. Latent powers perhaps? I think it is a dream of hope, or of great creativity and inspiration.
That dream about the little sparrow resting in your hand had a very precious moment to it i bet Yes, it was and it prompted an older dream I had also about a sparrow..that I held. Have to post it. Can't help thinking this one had some meaning behind it. Everyone get out your dream interp books.
Oh dear, if that's the case I wonder what you would think of MY hair Probably the same...long is long. My husband is losing his so any hair is long!
Did you ask your husband if he knew a guy by that description? No, I didn't think to.
Congrats Goldenlight! glad to hear your recall has improved. That dream about the little sparrow resting in your hand had a very precious moment to it i bet. Then it morphing into a mouse and scattering away like that was interesting. You must be very in tune with nature.
He had brownish hair - and needed a haircut, as it was a bit long to the collar. Oh dear, if that's the case I wonder what you would think of MY hair . Peanut butter dream was my favourite though!
Congrats on the recall I'm glad you saved the bird/mouse! Most people aren't that kind.
