Lol, you are welcome! That's how I learned to get up/roll out. I read it so many times, each time I said to myself "hrm, I don't get it, how the heck you do that". Until one day I said I'll try and I was out! So, awesome, and congrats on your TOTM!
Thank you OpheliaBlue!
Congrats on the TOTM and the smooth WILD!! I'll let gab know she helped you out.
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Thanks NyxCC, Read about your 'strip show' this morning...love it!
Congrats on the WILD and DEILDs AND on TOTM! Very impressive! Keep it up!
Thanks NyxCC, You all are my motivation.
Congrats on the lds, bemistaken! Good job on phasing as an RC and also on chaining those DEILDs!
Hello CL and thanks! That is exactly how my helmut looked in my LD...all gold and shiny...but just the head was visible. I'm not good at all at flying, I have flown before a couple of times, but if I try too hard, I will end up in space. If I try too little, I will really just float there in the ambiance...so I have to learn how to find a happy medium!
Awesome job, bemistaken! Great DILD and series of DEILDs to follow it up! I'm really glad that you got to experience some flight... this will only be the beginning now that you've tried it, I think. Flying rocks. When you got to the part with the scuba helmet and trying to turn it into a DC, for some reason I thought you might wind up with a DC of one of the "Big Daddy" characters from Bioshock. Congratulations on the LD and all those sweet, sweet competition points!
Hey, I really like that you carried several bars of soap in your pockets - that's cool. It's the little details like that. Thanks JoannaB! I don't know why I continue to miss these blatant dream signs ! BTW, I don't even have a daughter! Another dream sign missed. I am aware...I am aware...I am aware...

Hello friend! That was a really awesome dream! Going to a place in a dream I've never been to in real life is one of my goals, but I had never thought of Egypt. Also, I love your entries, you make everything sound so interesting and exciting! Keep reading and practicing, you will be able to go anywhere you want to soon! Most important, keep believing! Everyone is different, but understand that you have always had the ability...now you just need to learn how to control it. The facilitators, moderators, and dream guides advice is what I go to sleep on. Also, we have some very talented members on Dreamviews. Listen to the podcasts also, they harbor a wealth of knowledge. My goal is to make my workbook and dream journal entries sound so real, I want the reader to believe they were their with me. I want learners to come along on my adventure and maybe they can learn something or improve on something for themselves. One Love!

... and now I am feeling temptation to give the Africa Task of the Year (a Great Pyramid-themed task) another try. But I also want to do the Colosseum. I'll just have to try for two lucids tonight! Good luck to you and all you do!
Thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement! I greatly appreciate them both. This is a great achievement... and now I am feeling temptation to give the Africa Task of the Year (a Great Pyramid-themed task) another try. But I also want to do the Colosseum. I'll just have to try for two lucids tonight! Enjoy the victory!
Thanks NyxCC, I also have a bit of fear that closing my eyes may cause me to wake up, but after reading your entry I am tempted to give it a try! Go for it! I believe you will be pleasantly surprise!
CL, You are truly what your title says, "Dream Guide." I could not have accomplished anything that I have done so far if it wasn't for your guidance, patience, and support. Dreamviews is more than a site, it is my 'lucid life-line.' When I am in trouble, I call on my lucid life line for assistance...and the information I get back is what I take with me on my next lucid battle! For the record, I didn't see any pyramids, but I saw the amber colored sand, I felt really hot, and I internally felt the 'misery' of those workers/prisoners. They were broken and tired and very upset. I always watch the Discovery Channel and National Geographic specials, so I guess I was taken to Ancient Egypt...not current Egypt. When I am lucid, I am too determined not to let fear stop me (I am so irregular with lucidity at times, I don't know when it will happen again, so I must savor the moment ). CL, you are a great soul, you have nothing to fear. One Love.
Hey, congrats on the fantastic ld series! Very good job of going to Egypt and I am happy to learn that they had sandwiches even back then! Like CL, I also have a bit of fear that closing my eyes may cause me to wake up, but after reading your entry I am tempted to give it a try!
Bemistaken!! Congratulations! This sounds like an amazing dream. I love how well the eye closing / eye opening teleport worked for you! That was just textbook, the whole thing. Imagining it in detail, no fear, just thinking of your success... really pouring on that detail. You had all of your energy flowing in the right direction. See, I've done teleports like this where something is "behind me", but I have just not had the courage to actually close my eyes and open them like you did. I love the idea of the Egyptian sands emerging through that shimmer of heat haze... and then you're there! Awesome! Inspiring... I need to get over this fear that I have... Also, your WBTB sounds like it went awesome! As far as I know, the only big downside to too much activity is if it makes getting to sleep difficult. It sounds like this works amazingly well for you and your schedule! Will you have the opportunity to try this again? I'd keep at it! Great job!
