Really Weird Night

Last night, something weird happened…

At about 10:40pm, I closed my eyes and tried to sleep. I was thinking about stuff, and I started thinking about a certain topic. While thinking about that topic, I decided to open my eyes, and see what happened. I opened my eyes, and looked at the clock, it was 2:15 am.

I was thinking 'wha???' as I hadn't thought I fell asleep. It didn't feel like 3 1/2 hours tho. It was odd.

Any explanations?

I've had this happen countless times. I think it's likely that you slept for those times but woke up without realizing it. I mean if you wake up by alarm, then you will alert when awake but in this case, you slept and woke up by yourself

Additionally, you should get into the habit of doing a reality check (like pinching your nose and seeing if you can breathe... if you're dreaming, you generally will breathe with no problems) when you wake up, especially when time seems to have lapsed like this so quickly!
