This statement is based on what, exactly? :-?

who is to say exactly what a dream means? who is the person who says what means what in a dream and how do we know if its true? like is there a science behind it? i want some facts.
I want some facts too. We may not get them though. If the paranormal dreams are given by aliens then they would know the exact meaning and purpose that they are trying to convey.
Nice. You know where to find it!

That is actually my point. We don't have those facts. So, (IMHO), it's a little unreasonable for you to seem so convinced and confident that you're having dreams sent to you, telepathically, by aliens, when you admittedly have no facts to back it up.
However, the idea that your dreams are fabrications of your own, subconscious brain, has many verifiable facts to sustain it.
Just something to think about. :)
Do you have any facts to back up your position that I should not know what I know because it is experience. Do you understand my point? You have no bases for your argument. Tell me what salt tastes like. You will fail. LOL
What salt tastes like is subjective. This means it is different, from person to person. You can't tell someone what salt tastes like, because they are likely to taste something other than what you described. That's not a very good analogy.
On the other hand, we have decades of documented facts to back up the idea that dreams only exist in the mind:
The influence of daily activities on dream content is well documented.
The REM cycle (the potency of the dream state being in direct correlation to brain activity) is well documented.
The extents to which one can consciously control their dream state - and the things/beings within it - are well-documented.
There is relatively very little credible documentation, over countless years of study, that telepathy is even remotely possible.
There is no public record of any, actual, confirmed contact with extra-terrestrials.
People dream about fictional characters all the time.
These are all facts that give reason to believe that these aren't actual aliens that you are communicating with. Bear in mind that I'm not saying, with 100% certainty, that you are not in contact with aliens. I'm simply saying that there is more reason to believe that you aren't than that you are.
You are basing your assumption that you are, on the idea that it "feels real." I pose the question that, if you've never actually been informed what telepathy actually "feels" like - how do you know that what you're experiencing "feels" like "real telepathy?"
The idea of "well it has to happen to you, for you to know" doesn't really hold any weight, because what you're talking about isn't like just "knowing" you're in love with someone - or "knowing" you can do a kick flip on a skateboard. You are saying you "know" that an alien is using metaphysical powers to contact you, even though there has never been any overwhelming evidence to suggest that such a thing is even possible.
But, hey, you can believe what you want. I'm just saying that, if you're honestly trying to find out what is really going on - rather than just entertaining a fantastic idea, don't close your mind off to the facts against your theory. That's all. :)
Whatever the truth is, good luck with finding it. :content:
All I can say is that I agree. It really is a quite bizarre idea, which could make sense. I'm not saying it doesn't, however the likely-hood if it only happening to you specifically sounds quite surreal.
But then again, if you believe it then keep trying to find out, then you have the great pleasure of coming on the forums and telling us I told you so.

I don't care what you believe. Galileo was not alone when he was convinced the earth is not flat. There were a few who knew the the "truth" As time went by more and more people threw out the flat earth notion. We learn more all the time. There are perhaps millions of humans who would agree with me. Stay tuned. Do you want to know the truth? I do. If you have been to New york and I have not I could say there is no such thing as new york.
Thanks for the funny comment about new york. LOL
All I have to say is, even if you do believe aliens are contacting you via dreams, you should really ask yourself if they are worth your time. Lots of alien channelings have been fruitless, making many suspect that so called dream-time aliens are just astral beings pranking you and literally wasting your time and energy >:/
Lmfao. Now you're being rude. I was just trying to offer some perspective.
If you'd get off the defensive, you'd realize that I wasn't telling you what to think, and that using those bad analogies doesn't really help make your point.Quote:

Knowing that there are a lot of wasp nests in our area, I say "do you think it might have been a wasp?" You say "NO. I don't care what you believe. It was a black widow!"
THAT is a fitting analogy. I'm just offering an alternative (more likely) possibility. If you want to ignore it, fine. Forget I said anything. :)
That is a very awesome theory. I can't say I believe it, but wouldn't it be so cool?
But when will they start sending the message? IS IT TOO LATE? 2012 PEOPLE. :P
Nah its okay, I'm already working with someone on it, If your interested i can always explain some stuff to you. "PM" me if your interested. :)
Most of the things are relatively simple but then some of them get really complicated like solar conversion systems to turn light energy into a compressible liquid rather like a battery. I have also seen a "Craft" that works on the principle of ionizing the "Air" or "Space" around it to work kind of like a constantly moving sheet of ice under it for the craft to almost slide around in the air, there's more to the system but that's the basics.
If dreams were given to us by aliens, then we are a large hacking community devoted to abusing the system. :P
I haved dreams with ufos in the past, about two. One was when they were destroying the city, they were big ships, so they were robots. and the other was when i saw a big ufo in the sky and tripped out.
I dont doubt that there is other life out there, we'd be pretty ignorant to think we're the only living beings to have evolved out of all the galaxies. I think what you're describing is very interesting and who are we to say that what you believe is not true? We're not you after all. I myself believe that sometimes we do more than just dream and go into different worlds, but hey that's just my opinion.
Basically I think what you're sharing with us is very interesting, whether we believe it or not, so a little respectimundo people, we're all just sharing experiences here!
I say do what you feel like you gotta do, write it down, tell people on dreamviews, just don't do anything idiotic, like getting yourself into trouble, don't get too wrapped by your dreams, remember you have real life to live too!
