Thread: Shared Lucid Dreaming Tutorial

This is amazing! I've always believed on somesort of spiritual level that we're all connected, but for people to actually have experienced this connection? Simply astounding, I'd like to experience this myself. But I don't even know where to begin in my questions; I guess I'll just start with a simple one, how would you be able to find somebody that you'd be able to share a lucid dream with? Did you just find Raven Knight by mere chacne?

What I'm asking is, do you need some sort of past life connection with somebody in order to share a lucid dream with them? Or would I be able to have a lucid dream tonight and meet you on the moon? Yeah it's possible and you don't need those past life conections. What makes you have shared dreams is your subconcious mostly if you can't get lucid often, if you have no past life conection with the person you want to share dreams, you have to get to know this person, developing spiritual conections works fine with an instant messenger. I've recorded two shared dreams and one that I'm doubting.

The first one I was lucid and I summoned Raven Knight, she came in a special armor n stuff.

Second one ( I doubt) Raven came to my place and huged me from my back.

Third one , I was in a concert playing violin , it was Nomad that handed me the violin.

How advanced in the skill of lucid dreaming would you say one would have to be before attempting to share a lucid dream? With like your girlfriend or something, or your best friend, or even your brother or sister.

share a lucid dream? , Raven and Nomad can do that on regular basis, I have done it 2-3 times in my whole life and that's thanks to people like Raven that guide me. You'd have to be close to them I guess if you want to practice it with someone unexperienced.

You need high recall, dream control, stability, and unity between your concious and unconcious mind.

That last part, unity between your conscious and unconscious mind, what exactly do you mean by that?
But you don't have to have somebody teach you how to have a shared lucid dream? You just need two people who are skilled Lucid dreamers and for them to be close to one another, and for them to pick a spot to meet at; and then for everything to hopefully work out? (aka hoping that no DC will interfere with the two of you meeting haha)

To be concious of all of your deep desires and things about yourself that you don't know of, to know and feel who you are and to live it, when you do it completely it's like both are one, your concious and subconcious , and that's an impressive boost to your power and intuition :O

You could learn shared dreaming alone by yourself actually, but some advice may help you get there faster.

Sure having two people with skills enough to share dreams is possible but to reach that state where you can do it on regular basis, is hard work and requieres a lot of dedication.

So, Raven and I used to share dreams together as kids, but we didn't recognize each other at first when we met up again. When I was a kid, I thought she was a DC, so I told her I couldn't dream with my "imaginary friends" anymore, because I had to grow up.

After we met up again, I remembered her after awhile.

I also had dreams with MoSh and Selene as kids.

When I finally get my first LD the first thing Im going to do is fly straight to the moon, if able. Just have to learn how to LD lol...

Be careful, you don't want to wake yourself up by pushing yourself too hard; and doing what you plan on doing in your first LD, might do just that... wake you up.
Take baby steps, once you have one LD; you will find it easier to have another, and another. So don't feel like you have to get as much done as you possibly can; take baby steps and in a few months you'll be surprised just how far you've come.

Just to play devil's advocate: if you really believe you'll be able to do it, that might make it true.

Thats how Ive always looked at abilities in dreams. I never think twice about stopping time or flying non-lucid, unfortunately lol, and Im planning on applying that to my LDs eventually.

I think it would be cool if dreamers in different time zones who were sharing a dream signaled each other and then abruptly woke themselves up. Presumably you would be waking up at different times in the waking world. Make an immediate record of the time, compare, and then repeat it on other nights to see if its consistent from day to day.

That sounds like a pretty good idea, but then false awakenings could bugger you up a bit. I realy need to start RCing when I wake up, got stuck with an other FA this morning dammit!

Alright bro, I have to admit something...I fucking love you. I love pioneers. This is just the beginning. I've been trying to encourage people to SD over in ld4all...with not a lot of luck. I am just starting, and am going to continue of course. I just ha a 5 day long ND last night, and I was meditating the whole time(yes soooo gnarly). My goal is to RV someone, go to them(all in the dream state of course), "lucidize" them, and then have a nice chat and download them with some info. Hey, I'm on youtube, my username is mortclyde, and I have a hell of a lot of information for anyone who wants it hehe(I get downloaded every day from my "spirit guides") and I download stuff from the akashkic. Moto what are you on about downloading information to people? If we have a shared dream with you can you send us information or something??

@Ferret Exactly man, since we are in effect sending each other what we say, what is the limit? Also, I have found that sending conceptual information, or visual info is much easier. But I have never done it in a dream, so we would have to experiment. Also, what I am wondering, is it possible to share a dream through time? Because if we accessed a higher dimension, according to my model, this would allow us to share a dream at any time. This also explains precog abilites(that I have as well), however you may have to know the persons personal consciousness subtle energy framework extremely well in order to contact them through the subtle energy fabric of reality(more details in the dreamworld). Also, why don't you guys go visit schools in the AP? A couple of my friends go to schools there, and they learn all sorts of crazy stuff. I just had a DILD last night, RC's are awesome hehe. Anyways, yah I have more goals than the ones aforementioned, but I am concentrating on stuff I could do tonight. Namaste

Oh wicked that does sound like it would work just very crazy haha. I had a DILD last night too fuck yea! I dont realy know much about the whole time thing but I think its possible. Nomad has a better understanding of all that stuff! Im new to the dream sharing thing but realy keen, I know its possible because I had one with a flatmate but was not lucid. But yea moto keen as we should try to get together!

This is very interesting to read, and i look forward in time to trying to travel to your moonbase to see if its real. I do have some questions for you Nomad though, firstly, Robert Monroe claimed he was once in a lucid dream for 100years dream time but only 2 hrs real time which matches the seperate time line theory. Do you believe this is possible, and how would he have achieved such a feat as holding a ld for such a long period, or do you believe he was just trying to exaggerate a point and the power of lucid dreaming. Also I read somewhere that he left his company so that he could run it beyond the grave, indicating he believed his presence would be forever there, do you reckon its possible, and do you think its possible to channel him while lucid in the astral planes. Obviously its a very far-fetched idea and would change humanity, but why not, if his presence could be communicated with in the dream world surely he could answer so many questions on the ap and ld.

Very interesting, and the reason i said contacting him was in his book he indicates he would direct his institute in even in post-death state indicating maybe he believed he could contact test subjects at the institute in their dreams, of course it sounds pretty far-fetched but none more than the contacting of spirits through crystals/boards when many believe to be possible . May i ask whats the longest you've ever Ld'd? and how long you usually ld for?

From memory he was also the person who came up with the idea that while ap you had a cord attached to you which always pulled you back to your body as opposed to the other theory that ap is like leaving your car unlocked in the dodgy neighbourhood.
