Thread: Shared Lucid Dreaming Tutorial

Im getting better at getting lucid. In the last 2 nights I had 3 lucids so thats awsome!! I realy want to meet you guys on the moon. Nomad I heard in one of ravens dreams that you had to concentrate on loafs world to enter his dream. If I am going to try to meet you guys how should I do it? Can I just walk through a door and think of you guys or is there something a bit different involved?

But I do wonder has anyone every accomplished what Phantasos mentioned about the exchange of passwords via dreams, if not why ? The feat seems almost like low level stuff when you are riding the backs of dragons and altering dream towers on the moon for all to see ?

Walk through a door, and focus on one person, or focus on the Moon, then look for us.

Ok great I will. I had another lucid last night. These are getting a lot more frequent now so im sure I cant be too far away!

Wow. I had a hard time believing WILDS but thus far I've gotten extremely close and experienced it all. This, I'll just have to experience to believe but it seems so impossible.

To what someone said above, if you guys can somehow manage to exchange passwords and then repeat it with other people observing that could prove it. Hell that would be remarkable.

I did not believe it until I experienced it.

Hey nomad 6 lucids in the last 6 nights! Im sure we are going to meet very soon my friend. I cant wait to meet the whole crew Most nights im realy trying to remember to find you guys but never quite make it. Very very soon!

Hey something else I was wondering nomad. Youv shared dreams with loaf right? Im also from New Zealand like him. Arent the times completly different from where you are to here? Even if were sleeping at different times can we still share the same dream? I know dream time is something completly different to what we know as "time" but yea?

If this is the right place to ask a question then I will if not if someone could redirect me where to ask this I would greatly appreciate it. I have a friend, Kyle, he's a good buddy of mine and he hang out and stuff ((I'm a guy, we're definitely not involved romantically just best friends, he's kinda spiritual but slightly a skeptic and I have always wanted to learn about this stuff.)) But, he said he has had lucid dreams before too, and I told him about shared dreaming and he was interested in it, I told him to join the site but he doesn't have internet at the moment, but he said it would be and I quote "Kick ass." I was wondering, if we got a plan set up and everything, how would I go about entering his dream or vice versa or how would we "meet up." We play Monster Hunter a lot and we both agree it would be cool to reenact a battle or just talk or something.

to the questions about time. The shaman's Dreamtime runs on its own Clock my friends.

So then It would be possible to share a dream with you even if we were sleeping at different times?

We've shared dreams with loaf, he's in NZ, and we are in America. I've shared dreams with people from russia.

I did have some similar things going on between a dream I had on June 3rd and a dream Raven had at June 3rd.
Maybe a possible shared candidate? It's at least the best I've found yet for myself as a candidate/possibility.

So I'm confused. Is there some sort of dream dimension where time doesn't matter? If I'm going to sleep at 2am my time I can share a dream with someone in a timezone that has them dreaming 12 hours from when I experienced my dream? What do the mechanics of that sound like?

Think of the dreamscape one creates as a room, and think of whatever part of your psyche controls you as an essence inside of a dream (ugh) Avatar. I go to bed at midnight my time and I create an avatar/ dreamscape. The whole thing, being a manifestation of my conscious mind (assuming the shared dream is lucid) comes from me and so it will return. If I begin this restructuring of perception and consciousness at, say midnight, and the entire thing lasts one hour before I wake up, then there I was. If at noon I am at work eating a tuna sandwich while someone thousands of miles away begins dreaming, how is it that they share my essence and cognitive parts of my psyche?
If this is Astral projection then I guess you could argue that time exists as a constant on the astral plane of existence and would be meaningless, but I think the power one is assuming in that instance borders on some sort of wizardry, being that:
You are operating in the astral plane, not in a dreamscape, so to be able to do all of the things reported in a shared dream under this assumption now fall undar the category of multi-planar manipulation, NOT dreaming.

Besides, time may be meaningless in the Astral plane, but means a hell of a lot here, which even our psyches are bound to. Unless I'm missing something.

Any thoughts?

I had a dream tonight that kind of just blasted by in a flash and it involved me having thoughts concerning Nomad & Raven Knight, possibly Mosh as well and seeing and somehow having interacted with some people.
It was only a few moments and more I can't recall.

Now as far as I'm concerned, as a skeptical person, I have little reason to believe in shared dreaming.

It's odd, however, that in the descriptions of an "Astral Projector," who traveled to the moon, makes note of structures and people similar to the ways in which you describe them. Whether AP and LD are the same, different in some way, or both occupy the same realm, I think this is what makes me have to try it for myself.

I remember reading about it from her Projection diary, which definitely made me double-take when I first saw this thread.

The dream plane exists outside of linear time, but if someone hasn't gone to that place yet then they would still be bound by linear observations. Therefore someone who has yet to go to sleep is not interacting in the dream you are having hours earlier, you are simply creating it from your own mind. If they then "Share" the dream some hours later it would have been by some metaphysical telepathic insertion of previous events experienced by you in said plane. Therefore the later experience by the second party is completely void of any free will.

The dream plane is another world. The dream plane is greater than a mesh of minds. Your dream-mind creates an Inner World. When you leave this Inner World, you are in The Dreamworld. You are not bound by linear time observations in the dream plane, only in the physical plane.

Right, but you have to be in the dream world first. If you haven't reached the place you can't enjoy the benefits. I, being awake, am in the real world, and thus bound by its' rules.
