I am very interested in dream sharing and partaking in this adventure. I have to work on getting more LDs though. Who knows? Maybe tonight I'll be able to WILD

Hi. I am a new poster here.

I have had many lucid dreams and other related experiences in the past without knowing what they meant. Shared dream is one of them too.

I have had even a shared dream once with my elder brother when i was 7-8 years old. I dreamt something that night and after waking up, i started telling him what i saw in the dream. Then he said that he had the same dream too and he told me what happened next and it was exactly what i had dreamt too!

We have been amazed by that experience ever since then. But that is the only time me or him had such an experience.

When many of the members actually search for shared dreams, do you still meet on the moon as a general location?

I've only had a few Lucid dreams now but my next couple tasks are to find my friend in a dream and have a shared dream with someone that can actually recall me being there.

If you still meet up on the moon, I may have to head out there in my next lucid and try and find someone!

Yes, meet on the Moon, if you can. If not go to the Pyramids on Monday nights. We ride black Moon dragons to the Moon.

Anyone can lucid dream, it just takes time. ANYONE. I can't really answer that for you since shared dreaming isn't scientifically proven. But yes, you could, if you actually had a shared dream.

The only problem is: He'd have to recognize it as the REAL you, not a dream version of you, and he'd have to know WHAT to do to break free of the dream.

Ok, alright. Hes 9, i dont think hell be able to recognize dreamversions/genuine versions of me.. maybe ill take my cousin, who has little experience with lucids and has before been lucid.

I forgot to go to the moon... but i was lucid. I flew and teleported. Any advice on remembering to do this?

Also, nomad/raven, I would like permission to build a club for raving on the moon .

I CALL DIBS ON BUILDING IT

Also.... i would just like to point something out, although i might crush some people's spirits. You state that time is irrelevant, yet when you tried to wake up ttykdo(or whatever his name is) you stated that he wasnt even asleep. How could this be, if time is irrelevant?

Maybe im not fully understanding this time thing... care to explain it further?

Well, isnt time irrelevant in the dream world? So, if this is true, he should have been dreaming.. or, maybe this means that ttkdyo will never dream again!

I have experienced only shared dreams, not shared lucids.

The fact that time does not apply is an interesting concept after re-reading it. That would definitely allow ease of someone East Coast like myself to dream with someone in Hawaii.

OMFG. Question for nomad/raven/experienced. I had a couple dreams with my cousin who lives only a block away. Could it be that we were actually sharing dreams? =O

Also, mind if i come to the moon? And build a club. I wanna rave!

ALSO, can we play music over there, so taht everybody can hear it?

      Dude.

I just got a sweet idea. Once I finally get back to shared dreaming and get the hang of it, we should have a dream guitar duel. Imagine that. In an environment where your playing is limited only by what you can imagine, and you're having a guitar duel.

Besides, I'd never beat you in waking life .

Supernova, thats genius! Of course, i would probably be going against you on a dj turntable, not a guitar. Of course, the dj turntable would have guitar sound effects.

Ive personally never had a shared dream, im going for it tonight. HAve you?

Yeah, but I'd have Bill Bruford and Chris Squier back me.

      Checkmate.

No, I haven't had a shared dream yet.

I'll assemble my dream band (no pun intended ) Off the of of my head It'll be me, Steve Howe, Flea, Danny Carey, and...whoever ends up singing.

I'll pretty much be going for it every time I LD untill I suceed...my lucid rate's been pretty low lately because I just haven't had the time to put in the proper work, I'm usually pretty bust in the spring. I'll give it a shot, though.

      Hm.

I do believe that my friend and I hve shared something akin to shared dreams - although it's been rather one sided, most of the time.

Sometimes we'll get the same glimpses in dreams and whatnot, and other times strange things will happen. Like for instance when i was working, the power went out, and we shut down early. I was cleaning up this back area when I heard chairs move (although there was no one but me in the dining area at the moment) and it startled me so bad that I gasped and was terrified for about three seconds.

When I came home, my friend came over and told me he'd had this strange dream where I was in a dark place, and he'd heard chairs scraping - and he felt that I was afraid, but then he faded back into sleep.

I was so stunned I couln't quite comprehend what I'd just heard. I told him what had happened to me at work - and lest to say, my friend looked a little scared.

I'm interested in sharing dreams and achieving lucid, but. . . I'm not sure. So far it's hard for me to control my dreams. Most of the time they control me! xD

I'm the drug you crave on sleepless nights, the addiction that rips you apart on the inside - the poison that you would pay millions to possess. Yet when you finally have me, I'll wrap you in silky lies and take you to hell with me, baby.

      Current dream goals:
      Dream of Bioshock - [ ] || Dream of Spriggan - [ ] || TBU!

      Why was your friend scared?

I have had many of these experiences. I call them wake-dream synchronicities. That's a cool experience. Thanks for sharing.

On a side note, the small font hurts my eyes. I could always zoom in though.
