Thread: Shared Lucid Dreaming Tutorial

I've actually already flown half way there in a LD. I'm not saying that I'll get there immediately, but rather I'll put some good effort in to getting there.

Guys, until you have successfully exchanged passwords via dreams, it more like self-delusion.

Ok, next LD, i am going to SD, so be ready Nomad, Raven, and MoS. I will try someone on DV first so that i can tell it is real.

I actually have much larger plans for LDing, if it can be pulled off. Not just seeing each other but knowing everything that they know. It seems possible enough to me, after all it would just be a deeper level of connection. Think about it, that would mean infinite knowledge not to mention a deeper understanding of others, as you would have seen the world from their eyes.

Also, do you think it would be possible to reconnect with someone who you are far away from and have no other means of contacting them? That would be cool, there is someone who i feel like i need to speak to, but never even learned their name or anything about them. Perhaps I could have hope of seeing them?

why are you worried? But yeah, I think that SDing has more potential than we give it. Maybe it would be proof enough that SDing exists if we could get MoS, Raven, Nomad and some others to go into Conkt and some other of the main people who doubt it's dream and show them. For me, i have never had a SD, but i have hope that it can do wonders.

When i get good at LDing and SDing i will hold an experiment. I just wonder the effects that sharing minds would cause. Best case, it would lead to infinite knowledge and understanding of the human race. Worst case, however, it may drive you insane, unable to tell what memories are your and what are others.... Insanity does seem fun though.... If im not allready, however by wondering if you are insane proves that you are sane. that however creates the thought that you are sane, allowing for the possibility of insanity... so I dont know.

As for the effects of sharing minds, I would lean towards good effects. In order to "Gain there memories" They would likely have to try to give them to you. Sharing minds for extended periods of time could have negative side effects, (Such as loss of identity) But in the short term (Like SDs) Nothing bad should happen.

I dont think anyone can stop you from dreaming don't worry

also i know that someone would have to willingly share thoughts with me. And... I was talking about long term sharing of thoughts.... like maybe exchanging skills. Say i have a friend that is good at MW2, and i know Calculus. We exchange and are both happy. Really, it would only be bad if you exchanged the wrong thing. The complete connection though would have to be only for that SD.

Exchanging memories would be cool if there weren't so many problems. I dont think i want everyone to know my passwords and stuff. I also want to remember who I am.

Most interesting to me is reconnecting with people who i Never had the courage to talk to for whatever reason. That sounds kind of stalkerish but I just want to talk to this girl so badly, i dont know, im not a stalker or anything. I just feel a strong need to ask her if she found me attractive or if it was just delirium from jet lag and lack of sleep
Like I need to ask really badly, and i dont know why. It sounds strange. I know.

Sharing dreams doesn't cause a loss of Identity LOL.

Yeah and going to the moon is hard for me. I apperantly show up there a lot. but last time i was lucid i tried it. I didn't quite make it.

That was less about shared dreaming, and more about having somebody else sharing your thoughts.

We can talk telepathically in dreams, but I don't think I'd want someone to know everything about me. Maybe it's possible. Hmm.

Damn it. I've been trying to get to any of you guys in my dreams for over a week now but not much progress I must say sadly.
I've at least managed to get to the moon one time but I didn't meet any other people, just encountered these structures and not so nice welcome by a energy weapon emplacement that blew up my space pod.

I haven't tried to figure out a meeting place or time or such yet. Maybe is better if I do?

yeah I've seen you mention that. And seen the short entries. But I have no recollection of those two though.

Today I finally once again got Lucid and tried to get to the moon whit my first try at a portal but it didn't work out to well. Maybe my passenger was to much for a first try.

I would like to ask or see a reference to how you guys create your portals to travel about. This will help me.

Portals portals portals. At first I used music to make them, then I just did it with my mind. I think of swirling usually.

Raven said I used a door once as a portal seems cool for me.

It's so obvious looking at things I've looked into the past recent times.

Wow Nomad I have been reading about this and it just sounds too good to be true!!! Combat training?! I Havnt had a full lucid dream yet but I was told by an old woman when I was young that I had a very strong spiritual energy so maby I might not be too far away. Anyways as soon as I become lucid I will atempt to travel to the moon. Maby i'll try a door or portal. I hope you will be waiting

You don't have to necessarily be lucid, but it helps. You may intend to do it in waking, and end up there in a non-lucid.

I don't know why vortexes are so powerful, exactly, but I know they are.
