OK, in 1999, I was in Mr. Miller's 9th grade Social Studies class, and on the back of a handout, I drew a picture of Japan's Crown Prince Naruhito, and beside him, his daughter. The thing is: at that time, Naruhito and Masako were childless. But I knew that they would have a girl named [Ai]ko. Sometime later, it was announced that Masako was preganant, and would have a child. But I knew that if she had that child then, it would be a boy, and that could not be. Later, it was announced that she had a miscarriage. Finally, in January of 2001, it was in the news: Masako had finally given birth to a girl, and they named her Aiko. I could have kicked myself for not saying anything.
A while ago, I had a premonition that Taiwan would announce its independence on July 6th, 2009...I sense that in 2008, China will be very busy with the summer Olympics, and they will not be able to focus on suppressing Taiwan so much. With the hardworking efforts of the independence-minded Chen Shui-bian, current Taiwanese President -- hated by most, but only because the people are afraid of being hurt by China's massive power -- Taiwan will become an independent, internationally recognized nation. Chen will work hard both in and out of office toward this goal, it is his destiny, in essence. He is strong-willed, and is not afraid of China's might like so many of his people.
...
I even made up a little chant, "Old A-bian takes all the hardest licks, but he'll free Taiwan by July 6th! Fireworks make China whine, independence in '09!"
