but she also pretty much reads peoples minds and all that. i wouldn't say psychic.. but very intuitive.. i don't really get it. BUT my point is that even her dreams that come true they are always somehow related to her.. not just some randome thing happening but a big event.. (a birth a death) and it's a close friend, a relative etc..

possibly the date in your dream was unrelated to the plane. or the plane crashing might be symbolic for say, a tough day? I don't know but i'd be interested to read your post after tomarrow!
Mom is like that, she has dreams where when they are interpreted have all come true down the road and some were also major ones, but, i won't get into that here As for the intuition part, RV relies on it. Read up on remote viewing and since RV relies on intuition, she shouldn't have any problems finding the targets

Hmmm, two dreams that came true. Has your mum ever had dreams that didn't come true?

      Watch the video.

I assume you're talking about a correlation in the general population. While something may not be evident in the general public, does that mean it doesn't exist at all?

If all swans I've ever seen have been white, I will think all swans are white. But then, suddenly one day I see a black swan. Just one. Would that mean it doesn't exist?

I know dreams can be premonitions. Just one experience will do away with the comforts of statistics and probabilities. I don't entertain the illusion of being able to convince you, just felt like saying that.

Most dreams are our minds processing daily events, so I'd assume.

Theirs a difference between dreams and visions that are premonitory, and the normal dreams we have day to day.

The problem with the skeptics, seems to be that if one or two dreams are premonitions than all must be.. or it's bunk.
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

WOw i have the same kind of dreams as those. maybe 3 in the last 2 months where i saw future dates. I remember specifically in one I was lucid and it was november 19 2018. I was at a weird place called "the land of everywhere"

In my case I think a lot of times when I become lucid my brain will logically make sense of the situation and will turn it into a time travel sort of thing which makes me loose my lucidity.

I'm sorry but your swan analogy is a completely irrelevant argument.

If you watch and understand the video and/or have a basic understanding of statistics then you'll know why it is silly to decide that a dream was a premonition just because on two nights of the year somebody dreams something that ends up occuring.

Imagine a box in which there are 100 golf balls. Each is different colour. Once a day for the rest of your life you are given the chance to predict a colour, eg sky-blue, pastel-blue, navy-blue, royal blue, etc. You are then blindfolded and you reach in and select one golf ball, look at it, and return it to the box. Most days you would look at the ball and it would be a completely different colour to what you predicted. But occasionally you might predict say "pastel-blue" and then pull out a midnight-blue one and decide that you were "close". And once every three months or so you would select the exact colour shade that you predicted.

Can you see why only someone who doesn't understand statistics would exclaim "I can predict the future"?

Well? Is it? Just curious as to see if this actually happened or not.

      *Hands her a note*

You do realize that 100 predetermined choices and an unlimited amount of options throw your understanding of statistics for this situation in the garbage.

P.S. I think i ROFLed when I read your post, statistics of 100 choices with golf balls throws out the possibilities of Psychic visions. Which could range from anything, to an unlimited amount of choices. Maybe you should realize statistics can't be transferred to unrelated subjects.

Are you sure? I just did a web search, and there are tons of planes falling out of the sky. Seems like there's planes crashing almost every day somewhere in the world. And I thought flying was supposed to be the safest way to travel. Hard to pinpoint the date they happened, as the articles only have the date they were published.

Yes, the latest plane crash was 9th April Indonesia.

      Checked several Aircraft crash databases.

Commercial airliners crash around 30 times per year.

Why are the aircraft crash databases?

Maybe they're looking for a correlation.
