      Talking Speaking with other people trough LD?

      hm, i was wondering if that were really possible? like speaking with someone through your dreams and actually confirming with that other person that the two of you actually conversed through the realm of your dreams?

      i think it really is quite interesting. if it could happen how does one induce such an experience?

      indeed interesting, but don't think it's possible, unless both people were lucid and talked to one another in a dream and then in RL they could say they talked to them but different conversations, dunno if that makes sense

      Anyway. Hello!!! and welcome to DreamViews!!!

      What you're talking about is called shared dreaming, or Dreamwalking.
      It's quite a popular topic in the Beyond Dreaming section, and there is a good store of info there. Some people on DV are disbelieving about it though, so don't get disheartened at a few negative replies.

      Apopholis is right. depending on who you talk to you'll get different answers. personally i believe its possible. Some people have actually tried this, the whole sharing a dream an trying to prove it. hmmm who was it? someone on DV actually...Oh yea! i've havent talked to him before but read alot of his posts! < hope i dont seem like a stalker lol...The Cusp tried this once i think..but it failed if i remember correctly. the girl who he tried it with didnt remember the dream.

      Yea, it is a skeptic's worst nightmare.

      There are alot of people who swear by it and others who swear at it. It all depends on what you believe in, and how hard you try. I personaly have tried it on many occasions, most of them being other people said 'I had a LD and went and got you lucid and you seemed so real!', and I tell them they are crazy.

      But other people have dream shared and confirmed this with the share-er. It all depends on what you believe.
