What does AP do for me? If I achieve it can I talk to ghosts if they exist? I hear about a sickness people get if they use too much "energy"? thanks for all your answers. Sorry if anyone thinks I'm making fun of this, I just haven't done AP and I'm very curious.:)
I think that the sickness is mostly just feeling drained.
And there are many different views on what you can and can't do in the Astral Realms. I personally believe that there are other entities that exist in these realms, and some may be deceased persons, but I don't know. It's probably best if you experience it for yourself. Bear in mind I haven't fully projected yet :(.

This is a great way to get into one state that you can AP from.
Edited because of copyright issues. The book "Astral Dynamics" is what it was.
IMO the best resource for methods of getting out of body, as well as general information on OBEs.
