      Series Dreams

I have a question regarding dreams that occur in a series. Since I was a child I've been having dreams that occur like a T.V series. So I'll have one one night and then the next night the dream will continue on where it left off. Not only this but the dreams sometimes dont continue on where they left off until months or years later. So I may have a dream that I had when I was seven years old continue on when I'm sixteen years old. You may wonder how I can remember dreams that are spread out years apart. Well when I have these dreams its like I'm returning to another life where I have memories of the dreams that have come before this one and everything that has happened in them. I can only seem to remember them as a whole while I'm having them or for a short time after I wake uo (one or two days at most). I've been trying to write them down but its difficult to find time to document such a vast bunch of dreams especially as they are super detailed and extremely life like.
Anyways I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of or had dreams like this before. If anything is unclear please feel free to ask questions to make it a little more clear as I'm not very good at explaining things like this.
*A daydream is a meal at which images are eaten. Some of us are gourmets, some gourmands, and a good many take their images precooked out of a can and swallow them down whole, absent-mindedly and with little relish.*

When I dream like this, the dreams occur one after another.

I guess that isn't so strange, since I'm simply re-entering the dream.

ive had dreams like this before. i remember once when i was reading a book i had a series dream having to do with it like 9 days in a row. i had like the same dream every week for an entire year when i was like 8, the only differences were the endings. i actually had part of a dream from earlier this dream last night. i usually dont have dreams that occur in series years or months after the latest one.

yeah i've had a bunch of series.and i also just continued a dream from when i was eleven about my dog.its so interesting, i think, that dreams can be stored for so long but only recounted once or twice and still be in perfect detail in your subconscious.this is partly why i think we never truly forget things,i think everything is still there its just the matter of retrieving it.
