Thread: A Trip To The Astral Plane

I would very much like to go there. Has anyone had any record of becoming very lucid in a dream and using autosuggestion once in the dream to take you there? If not, any techniques similar to this that would be effective?

I'm not any expert, but I've heard that when your're lucid, if you fly straight up as high as you can you'll somehow get onto the astral plane. I've never done it, but I've heard of this method.

I dont believe it's the method that you use so much as your belief that it will work. Do whatever you feel is right to get there and have an astral party.

It depends on what you think the astral plane is. Then you can just detach from the dream and try to count yourself into that state. If it exists (i.e. associated with a high probability state ) or you succeed in self deception then... there you have it, whatever it is. But flying up can definitely change your perception and the rules of dreaming - and you don't need to have expectations about it for it to work.
