      OBE ear pressure

A long time ago, I would involutarity wake up at night, and I would begin to experience the vibration stage that is a prelude to an OBE. At first, this was accompanied by a tremendous ear pressure (like the kind you get in an airplane, but much more intense) About the first 4 times, this was painful, and I always had to stop the experience by moving; however, I got used to it and soon there was no discomfort at all. I never got into a conscious OBE, but I just liked to bask in that vibration state-- and that occured for several years. I think what started it, was my desire to experience OBE... and since we all OBE at night., my subconscious would wake me up at the right time.

However, this does not happen anymore and I miss it.

Any ideas on how to experience this again?

This is strange. I experienced an OBE through a dream once and I felt a very very strong vibration sensation throughout my whole body as I left. I don't remember any ear pressure however. Were you afraid of leaving your body or did you feel like it was difficult to leave? That could explain the pressure.

I am strange... I only experienced ear pressure the first few times. And for years I would wake up and go into the vibrations, I only had a tiny OBE once after I was in the vibrations, but I was very tired and I went back to sleep while the vibration was still going. Then I got paralasis and I could see although my eyes were closed, and I stood up (but not with my physical body).

The last near OBE I had was about 5 years ago in Germany.. I instinctively sat up and I felt much energy was pouring out of my eye sockets.

Wow that is intense! I've only had one OBE (that I know of). Maybe if you try some meditation and relaxation you can have an easier release from your body. I read that as you are leaving the body, if you are still somewhat conscious it can feel like you are 'stuck in your head' or that you can have pressure inside.
