Thread: suggestion on salvia??

I've smoked Salvia out a water pipe and it hits you REALLY fast and then it's gone in about 5 minutes.

You're skin will feel flush, you will drip sweat.. All the water in your body feels like its being sweated out...

You're kinda trippin in your own world, not wanting to be near anyone cause you feel so gross..

Wasn't fun for me... I'll stick to other Hallucinogens.
But each persons experience is different I'm assuming this drug is more along the lines of disassociatives such as PCP, Dextromethorphan(cough syrup)

P.S. For people who have smoked it with no affect, it's hard to keep lit and it's recommended to smoke with a water pipe, rolling a joint or blunt would do shit for you even a bowl would be a pain in the ass. You need water.
The guy saying it is water soluble is wrong it is most easily smoked with a water bong and a hot torch.

I've heard lots about this from my friend who's taken it a few times. He says trips can go bad but really good. He watched a movie on it once and was teleported into the movie. Also, the effects if smoked last for like up to 20 min. Sometimes not even a minute depending on the dose. It's safe, unless you endanger yourself but very unlikely. If you do it get a trip sitter. If you chew it up the effects can last like an hour. Also it's not even illegal on most parts of the us surprisingly. Not harmful but you will trip hard. Some people just laugh hystarically.

it really bombed me out when i discovered i was only a few years to late to try it for it turned illegal in 2002 in australia
i believe salvia will work, i recon anyone who tried it and got no effects off it probley got ripped off...

The only way that i would try it is if it produced a concious OBE. Everyone who i have talked to say that you do infact OBE, but you dont do anything but stupid stuff.

I've tried it 4 times, all on 30x extract. First time was just histarical laughter. Second time didn't do much but kind of warp my vision for a few minutes. But the third time I did it, was the most wonderful thing that could happen to me. I couldn't explain it because it's simply impossible. The fourth time made me feel very cold, and felt ver "out of place" which kind of frightened me to never try it again.

I would say everybody should experiment with salvia, DMT, Shrooms, and marijuana at least once in their lifetime. In my opinion.

Yeah I plan on doing Salvia, DMT and Shrooms and obviously I've already smoked weed, copious amounts of.
Maybe acid if I like the other three coz' people all say to try that too.

acillis - exactly the same as me. You know they banned it without any research whatsoever? Fucking close-minded, ignorant pricks. Technically it can't be classed as a hallucinogen either so who knows how they got away with that.

FORTUNATELY (last time I checked) it's only illegal to have chopped, dried product and/or to be caught smoking it. But what are the chances of feds busting in your door in the 5-10 minutes it takes you taking a hit and tripping. Unless you're running a meth lab the chances are about zero.
So if you wanna try it, get prepared, read up, there's no such thing as reading too much information, then buy a plant and smoke up. Have a gardening book around for vegetables and ornamental plants or something because some prying, reefer madness loving neighbour and a phone call to the cops could be all it takes to fuck you over. But again, that's unlikely to happen, barely anybody knows it's capabilities and it's a popular ornamental shrub.

lol acid sounds pretty crazy. but i wouldn't turn it down if someone handed it to me.
there are plenty of other erophic herbs out there that arn't illegal. such as damiana.

Hm, this guy at TAFE told me about damiana yesterday coz I was trying to do this collage of bob marley and he said that damiana looks like weed and I could use that instead of actual weed. Have you tried damiana? is it any good?

Damiana is very mildly psychoactive, if at all. A small pinch in a tea blend can taste good, thats the only thing I would use it for. It doesn't look like weed and its effects are way to subtle to compare to weed. There are some herbs that kinda smell like low grade weed when you burn them, like lactusa virosa, which is also a great dream aid.

Salvia is more along the lines of PCP, more of a dissociative. Shrooms and Acid I think are more mind expanding though every one has potential.

It really depends what kind of person you are and which one you'd enjoy more.

Has anyone saying that salvia is like PCP ever done PCP? I haven't but I've done Salvia and it's very differnet from any other drug I've done. It's hallucinagenic at high doses, but not in the same way as acid or shrooms. It's very hard to classify the effects as they seem so different every time.

I've done it once along with multiple cough syrup swilling in my younger days.... Dextromethorphan..

Closest thing to compare Salvia two are those... not exactly the same though. Lot less longer lasting for sure.

Hm, I think it kinda looks like it. I mean it's not spitting image but it kinda looks like dry, chopped weed. Should do for a collage anyway right?

Ugh salvia is horrible i hated it. I smoked it out of a bong and OMG it was as if my brain was gettin taken over , seeing whatever salvia wanted to show me i had no control over it. Then an astral projection phase came and it was freaky. Ill probably do it once more if that.

i dont think salvia should even be compared to hard drugs, even if you hallucinate on both.
the only reason salvia is still legal in the united states is because it's still a herb. but as an herb it transprorts you to an entierly different dimention.

i've tried dxm(cough syrup) and dmt(natrually produced chemical that helps with dreams) and in my honest opinion, even if it scares the shit out of you, salvia is the cleanest 'drug' you could try.

Okay I got tired of reading through every post on this thread so I dont know where you all are on the subject but I'll give my own opinion on the Sacred Sage.

I see psychedelics as a chemical interface through whitch we contact a greater intelligence outside ourselves. I believe that Salvia D. will allow you to commune with something very sacred that is not to be taken lightly, so you should approach it accordingly if you want to learn something and gain a rich experience with this plant. She will not be kind to you if you approach her with irreverance, and it will not be pleasent. But there is much to gain from the Sheperdess (Salvia) if you use it with good intention in a humble manner. I dont know if you are very religious or spiritual but try saying a prayer or doing something that you would usually do to get in touch with the sacred before ingesting salvia and you are sure have a somewhat smoother, more enjoyable experience.

Anyway, thats my opinion, take it or leave it.

actally it is still legal because the chemical in Salvia is not in the tryptamine family and thats where the law applies. But anyway they are working on making it illegal already. Bummer.

Iboga, opium poppy, coca, marijuana, khat, peyote, etc... plenty of herbs are illegal in america. Salvia is now a controlled substance in several states too.

the three time i've smoked salvia, it made me fall flat to the ground like someone was putting me under their boot or if gravity was reversed, and i just couldn't get up. it was fun for sure, but it was only a small dose. i was looking to take more, but wanted a better way to take salvia, and then i read on here about chewing. thanks nemo, that should work much better.

Smoking salvia was the most uncomfortable, intense, and scariest experience of my life, and at the same time it was fun enough for me to do it again more times LOL. DO NOT do it with other people, unless they are actually trying to have a meaningful experience, this is NOT a "party drug". I think I only had bad experiences with it because I did it with people, peoples voices are soo annoying when your on it, I will probably do it by myself and have better results.
Salvia is a more intense experience then all the other psychedelics drugs put together. I whole heartedly believe the only reason it is legal is so that kids will try it first and be to scared to do other drugs.

Meth is nothing like PCP. Salvia and PCP are both dissociatives. Meth is a stimulant.

That's funny lol I was arguing with this guy on youtube who said Salvia is a dirty drug and DMT is the cleanest drug. If you're still reading this thread, what makes you say it is 'clean'?
