No. You will likely not die. But Death is overrated anyway. What you will be setting yourself up for is experiencing things on an emotional level that you've likely never felt before. When you are dealing with dead people who haven't crossed over, there's a reason they haven't.

They are experiencing very unpleasant things and when you deal with them, unless you're just doing it as a "side-show entertainment" (which is the ultimate in unethical behavior), you will experience those things too.

Imagine having the person you feel the closest to in this world die. Imagine the grief, anger and hurt you would feel at that point. Now magnify that a few times and that's what it's like dealing with Souls who haven't crossed over yet.- Mothers whose children have been murdered in front of them while they were being raped, Husbands whose wives have cheated on them, taken their children and then hired a thug to kill them, rapists, theives, murderers... these are the types of souls that "hang around" and don't go into the light.

I mean it... it's NOT fun. It hurts. A lot. And if you are not prepared or protected by very skillful and powerful allies, it has the potential to cause you extreme emotional and spiritual injury.
