Thread: Lucid Dreaming and Energy Flow

Is anyone who is a lucid dreamer also working with energy in their daily life? Have you ever experimented with energy work inside of a dream?

I have experimented a little with energy in my dreams. Mainly focussing my Chi and using it as a power source to manipulate things in my dreams.

Not a lot though. It's on my list of things I want to pursue farther.

How about you?

Not yet. I'm still working on prolonging my periods of lucidity. I'm big into energy work though and was curious as to whether it could be incorporated during dreamtime. I practice with different kinds of energy throughout the waking hours though.

Last week I had a lucid dream in which I did an energetic healing for someone. I became lucid upon seeing one of the women, Nansea, from my waking life dream group. I told her to look at her hands, that we were dreaming. At that moment a young boy who was screaming approached us. My intent for the lucidity was to receive a message from the Goddess, not deal with a screaming boy, but here he was. I levitated into the air and said to the boy "look, we're dreaming, you don't have to be upset." He kept on screaming. I have had the experience of reaching through objects in lucid dreams so I got down on my knees and stuck my hand into the Earth and pulled it back out, leaving no hole. Nansea told the boy "He can reach inside you and pull out what's bothering you, if you want." The boy immediately lifted his arms over his head for me to proceed. I reached inside of his abdomen and felt something hot and dark. I pulled it out. I was afraid to look at it. I turned my back so he couldn't see and released a small, dark, winged creature that flew away. I turned back to the boy and he had tears running down as his cheeks as he smiled at me and quit screaming.
I told this dream to my waking world dream group and one of the men in our group stopped me and said "the young boy was me". He said something terrible happened to him when he was 3 yrs. old and had held it inside of him ever since. He asked if we could re-enact the dream. We did and I actually felt something when I touched his abdomen. He felt it too, and feels like something was released and that he was indeed healed.

Wow that is quite a dream!! Thank you for sharing it, because it really confirmed what I thought to be possible while dreaming. You are a very talented healer, and I hope you are utilizing these benefits to their potential. But I have to WOW just one more time!

Thanks for your affirmation. I've made a career of psychological mind healing and counseling but now my dreams seem to be urging me to directly touch and work with the body. My family of birth wasn't very warm and touchy and I've always been kind of hesitant to lay my hands on people. I know they need it...I know I need it.

Have you considered Reiki? It is a wonderful form of energy healing. It sounds like your already a natural at it, but Reiki is great to open up to because it doesn't deplete your own energy when you heal someone. Whoever teaches you will give you a series of attunements which open your palm chakras wider for more effective healing. But each attunement process also facilitates a personal cleansing. Each one of your chakra centers is cleared. If your not familiar with Reiki this can sound confusing.

I think it's very important to follow your inner promptings. And believe me I know alot of people don't understand. But you'd also be surprised at how many who do..

But I urge you that regardless of your interest or disinterest in Reiki, to follow your inner voice. Your intuition. It may not be an easy path but it is more fulfilling than you can imagine.

BRAVO!!!!

In one of my two LDs this morning I made an energy ball that looked like a ball of yellow light with a giant nucleus in the centre. It felt warm and my "DG" or whatever you want to call it stuck a peice of paper in the ball and the ball disappeared. However, the paper ignited. I then surrounded myself in the energy and I ended up getting severe burns that my "DG", which was Aphius at this point, was severely grossed out by so I healed them. There were still a few left when I looked in the mirror so I picked off the scab and put soap on it. I don't know why I did that, but it seemed logical at the time.

That is wonderful news!! I think it exceptional that so many of you are able to do this!!! I would also encourage ALL of you to continue working on your energy during waking hours as well, if you don't already. Some of you could be phenomenal healers if your interested in going in that direction!! If any of you would like more info on Reiki, I'd be happy to email you some basic info on it. Just PM me. I'm not trying to cram it down anyones throat, it's just one of many practices that can strenghten and refine your flow. (Such as Tai Chi)

I've almost mastered energy in my waking life, but I'm still working on the dream part.
