Thread: The Quiet Earth

Last night was so quiet. The streets were quiet, the hospital hallways were quiet [I work in a hospital] I went to the bookstore on my break and it was quiet - just me and the bookseller.

As I walked down the hall I did a reality check but it was unconvincing.

Oh that's alright. A mod will most likely come along and move it...a mod has had to move a few threads i've started in the past as well, so you're not alone

Anyway, I will continue in hopes that this thread is moved to its proper location. Thanks for being nice - this forum has been quite refreshing in that regard.

I feel that sometimes the ordinary reality seems to come closer to the un-ordinary one. This weekend definitely felt like one of those times. These times do not come along all that often. I was wondering if anyone else felt that this past weekend was more quiet than usual. I suppose in a very unscientific way I am trying to ascertain whether or not this feeling is objective or subjective.

Any thoughts?
