German psychic teaches students to FEEL the world!

Before I start, I'm really just looking for information on a subject I remember reading about, but can't remember where! It was while I was researching into Telekenisis (after Placebo got me involved). It was about a German philosopher that learned to use a "sixth sense", kinda, to sense the world around him without the need to see or touch it. I think it was along similar lines to the way those guys think their TK works, by 'extending the force that surrounds you so that you can feel objects that you are not actually touching'. Apparently his students reported being able to see the world without even opening their eyes. If anyone knows where I might have seen this, or where I can learn more about it, I'd appreciate a response. Cheers, WS

I was on a course a while back, and the course leader and one of the other participants told me they could see sometimes with their eyes shut. I can't really tell you where to find more info, though.. It was mentioned in the book called "The Master of Lucid Dreams" by Olga Kharitidi. I've read the swedish translation of the book a very long time ago, but I can't remember anything about lucid dreams in it - at least not the kind of lucid dreaming this site is about. But, that was a long time before I knew what lucid dreaming was, so who knows? The kind of perception you mentioned is mentioned in the book, though I can't recall in what detail. You could check the book out, though don't get your hopes up.

i think this has to do with auras. everything has an aura; people, plants, objects, anything. some people can sense/see auras, and i have heard about someone who walked through a forest blindfolded and didn't hit a tree.... there are a couple books on this. you could find it at Borders in the metaphysical section. check it out

I can see somewhat with my eyes closed. Also my brain seems to fill in a lot depending on the light/darkness. I think the reason is your astral or obe eyes. Have you tried it yet? I've been scared everytime so far and havn't really done anything. I'm sorry but too many ppl depend on me for something to happen. These are crazy times we live in. And oh yeah I wonder how far out you would be able to see? I can only do maybe ten feet at the most and it's usually a few and it's very vague but you can tell what you are looking at. I suppose it could be just some type of psychic ability too though.
