Thread: Is possesion possible during obe?

I would love to astral project but i am afraid if iget out of my physical body and explore ,some spirit or demon would posses it. Would this actually happen? And is it also true that if you Bibical chord attaching your physical body to your spiritual body breaks you can die? Those are my only two reasons i wont astral project if i am totally wrong or if any of you think i am freaking out to much just let me know. I need to get these fears cleared up. Thanx

I dont know what Astral Project is. I'm serious, from this short time I've been in this site, the only thing that I know the meaning of is Lucid Dream.

But from what your saying, I dont think its possible, I think your safe.

It is possible I've heard of it before...But just remember its your body if you have a good strong spirit everything will be fine.

Absoutely. Pray your heart out for protection. I've never heard of any cases but i'm sure if your spirit is weak enough anything bad is possible. If you're that scared, maybe you're not strong enough to try it yet. Just a thought. Not trying to nay-say. I haven't tried to Astral Project yet but if I ever do, I will most definately pray for protection from the source of all that is good.

Someone on another board told me that there are egyptian vampires that live on the moon that can steal your energy when you obe... hahah! i think if you fill your mind with these things it will scare you off obeing, i think its safe if you BELIEVE its safe

killfrenzy is right, anything you believe enough is true. and i agree that you should say a prayer before attempting AP, asking for guidance and protection. but prayers are only usefull if you believe your prayer is being heard, if your just praying without faith there is no use. nothing should stop you from AP if its what you want to do. only fear can hold you back, so let go of your fears.

if you pray to god i believe you wolud be safer but i don't know about dieing

When I started out in some of my investigations, I had a lot of doubts. Things like walking in different astral planes, projection and such just seemed a little too 'occult' for me.

Do what I did, spend a little time with God in prayer and ask him if it is alright for you to experiment in these areas. If you get an affirmative answer from him, then I think you wll have nothing to worry about on your journeys. He will be there protecting you.

The notion of anything possessing you when you OBE is probably wrong. I suspect there's at least 1,000 who OBE regulary in the world, even if they don't know exactly what it is, and if there were spirits out there to possess people, it would be in the news, I expect.

Whoaness this is old. You OBE every night while sleeping by the way, so if possession was gonna happen to you, why would it wait until you did it conciously?

you obe every night when yr sleeping? are you sure 'bout that? please explain. the only times i've been aware of obeing in my sleep i was lucid and could feel the pressure and vibrations and the whole shabang. please clarify.

Thats a myth that you obe every night while you sleep.
I can stay consciousness through all sleep levels, also checked with my own eeg machine.
Even in delta sleep, deep sleep you are not out of your body!
If you go under deep sleep, to a near death experience then my experience is you
get what ppl call a obe. A real one!

My own experience from real life and not from books are the same as the practise of the yogi
of the far east and of ppl that had a near death experience.
And that is that what ppl call a obe happens below deep sleep.
Many ppl that think they have a obe is still rem sleep level.
They see a body double in bed and say then oh this is an obe.
Or they say wow this is so real that it must be a obe.
I let some ppl do tests that had obes, at least they thought that.
And after testing they admitted it where clever disquised dreams.
Sort of special lds.

The ppl that had a near death experience, are changed for the rest of there life.
you dont see that with fake obes.

The far east yogi is very diciplined when it comes to consciousness and there experiences
speak of the fact a real obe comes from under deep sleep stage.
The near death excidents tell the same and i who can also stay conscious through all sleep
levels also tell the same.
You dont obe at normal sleep, ppl are not out of there body automatically.
If so, like with a near death experience you would have full conscious and u would remember.

I can describe all sleep stages from consciousness and in rem stage and deep sleep stage
your still inside of your body.

Wow you can stay concious through all sleep stages, what are you a desiplined guru or sumthin? and i dont know how the hell a eeg machine can tell when one is seperate from ones body, that just measures brainwaves.

Anything is possible in he astral plane for that is the place were emotions become physical and time does not exist.

But most entities in the astral plane can't do it unless you let them.

Sure their exists some who can, but them taking over your body is the eqivalent of all the top hackers in the world coming together jsut to hack your computer.

But that praying thing, that works too. Divine protection is the shit.

Personally I don't mess around in the astral plane. Maybe oneday when I get all my traines to the level that they can have an obe then we could all be their and that'd be cool, but until that day I'll just stick to my lucid dream learning techniques.
