Sight, touch, sound, smell and taste - these are our basic 5 physical sense that are interpreted by our brain.

I am positive that there are way more to us then those 5. Stuff like balance and knowing our fork will enter our mouth (we don't need mirrors to eat.)

Then there are more advanced/different senses. Have you ever had the feeling that someone is looking at you, you turn around and behold! someone is smiling at you!
Similarly you and someone else may be looking ahead, then for no apparent reason you both turn to face each other at the same time.

Then there are more like deja vu (could be a special sense) and knowing it will rain (could be part of the pressure in the atmosphere).

So, if you know of any other senses could you please post them here.
I know we have more than 5!

Perhaps there are more than 5 "senses", per se, however they are not physical senses.

Don't confuse the concept of the 5 senses. We have 5 physical senses - sight, touch, sound, smell and taste.
Anything else isn't physical. Feeling emotions is a "sense" in itself but sorcery doesn't regard it as a physical sense. It's important to discern the difference between the 5 physical senses - the senses we use to perceive physical things, and all others related to the mind.

I know that there are the 5 physical senses (not be angry), but I wanted to know if there were other senses that are actually acknowledged.

For example, the feeling of someone staring at you itsn't really a physical sense and is not part of one of the main 5. So what is it? Just a feeling in our mind?

Think about it. You aren't likely to feel someone staring at you that is hiding in the shadows many metres away in utter silence (snipers, assassins, etc. are all examples of this). The example you gave, about turning around and seeing the person staring at you, shows why you would sense this. The person is there, not far.
Thus, just because the physical sensing of this isn't obvious, doesn't mean it's something fully metaphysical. Unless the person staring at you is willfully channeling to you emotions, energy, etc., you will sense them physically but lightly. Their breath, even if you don't consciously hear it, the smallest movements of their fingers or clothes, their presence all together and all physical actions associated with it. That's why the feeling seems so ethereal at first - the physical sensory input during such a case is rather insignificant.

Edit: Just realised that my explanation was more of sensing the person rather than sensing them looking at you but the looking is also likely to be sensible because of minor physical qualities of you, your sight and other senses, as well as other barely noticable things associated with such an action as opposed to someone simply standing near you without looking.

The sense with the fork is called proprioception. There are receptors in all the joints that make us know in what position we are. For example, you know whether your arm is flexed or extended because of the receptors in you elbow and sholder.

Another sense: Sense of direction. We are not pigions, but we do have a nice sense of direction. It was proved by taking a group of people in a buss to an area outside their homes, while their eyes and ears are shut with eye-covers and ear-plugs, and the bass took a widing route to confuse theme. Then they were asked to point to where they think their home is, and most got it right. Then they repeated the experiment, this time with magnets attached to their heads, and they got it wrong. This proves that people have a sense of direction which is probably based on the magnetic field of the earth.

That's interesting about the magnets.

To Merlock - So what you're saying is that in that example, we still use our basic senses, but the processing of infomation is much more complex and subtle.

Thanks for your input guys.
