I get the little cell shadow things sometimes when i look into the sky. Not white dots, but silhouette type fragments. However, i thought SKA's original post was referring to something else....
When i was a kid i was often wake up in the night and find that i had coloured dots in my field of vision. However, unlike what most of you seem to be describing, they weren't moving in random directions and vanishing out of vision or anything like that. They were very stable, and they would move together in a rotational movement seemingly around my body/the bed. They never pulsated, never strayed from their solid "formation", they were just constant and moving in unison, around me. Or so it looked like. Imagine, if you can, being inside a bubble, and on the outside of the bubble somebody had drapped a net. At each crossing section of the net they had placed little coloured lights (not white, but solid colours). Now, imagine that this net is being pulled around the bubble in one direction and as a result all of the lights are moving around the bubble at the same speed, in the same direction. That's what it was like. I don't get this any more though. I haven't for years.
SKA, is this what you were originally posting about, or did you mean the white/silhouette particals that flicker around randomly?
