Seeing ''energy'': Imagination Or Not?

Well okay I've mentioned this before briefly in some topics but now I wanted to know If I'm just nuts or anyone else has experienced what I have always have and still often experience.

I turn off the light, get ready for sleep, lay in bed staring into the darkness of my room for a while.
And pretty much instantly I start seeing a sort of ''Dynamical Energy''. Sounds weird but I wouldn't knwo any other way of prescribing it. It looks like what you see on a TVScreen which has no signal: Only less dense, Very colorfull, Transparent and Moving all around me.

I have this prior to sleeping while gazing into my dark bedroom, but I've had it in my youth too: I would have a very Disturbing Nightmare, Wak up in shock and still in fear, Run to my Parents bedroom and get in their safe bed. As I lay there I would see that ''Dynamic Energy'' all around me, especially concentrated like a Sphere around my Parenst bed.
It always made me feel safe and protected. Lately I've been having it while sitting in the Brightest sunlight especially while looking into the blue Sky: Same Dynamic movement but then the ''Particles'' were more like shadow spots in the sky: These ''Particles'' are almost always Integrated into my Drawings when I draw.
But I've never fully understood what it was.

You know what? I might try and DRAW what I'm talking about, scan it and post it here in This Topic: maybe someone will recognise it as something he or she has seen also.

Anyone else have experienced this? Please share it with me, and also share your reflections on what it may be.

I see that as well. I juggle so I'm looking up a lot, the first time I noticed it was juggling on a sunny day looking up at a cloudless sky. I don't know what it is. The best way I can describe the movement of the 'particles' is like a swarm of insects. If I concentrate I can see them more clearly. I've never noticed it in the dark (but I'll keep a look out tonight).

No one is crazy, I can see these "white dancing particles" when I first wake up and stare at the sky. The weird thing is, if I focus directly on the sky, I can't see them. However, if I focus on say the treeline, I see thousands of them in my peripheral vision. I don't know what they are. Probably some bloodcells or something in your eye. They are very bright though which is weird.

I see those particles as well, and i think a few of my friends do too. And I also agree that they are blood cells or something in that category.

When you first explain that light, it sounds almost like an aura, but its not centered around anyone that you know of, and the feeling of security is interesting.

Sometimes I see purplish swirls of color in the darkeness. I'm not sure what this is, but I know that when you are in darkness your eyes produce some kind of "visual purple" compound that helps you see in the dark.

The little pixels that we see while looking at the sky are shadows of dead cells and other garbage that is suspended in the liquid inside our eyes. This liquid can move and has some inertia. So when we look at the sky and move our eyes the liquid moves slower than the rest of the eye itself. So we see these pixels slowly following our eye movements.

Go here, install the software and play with the settings (F1). I suggest you max all the settings. Some of you may get answers.

yeah I once even concidered they might be bacteria i my eyes that I was seeing when I stopped focussing on my Physical Surroundings lol.

Well appearantly we have hit and found a new mystery: The mystery of the moving particles whahah. But it's good to hear so many people having experienced the same thing.
Actually in darkness they are strongest: As soon as I flip off the lights they are there very obviously present. But if I look for them, they are almost always there. It's just that Bright Blue Skies or Complete darkness seem to be the best ''backgrounds'' to see them most obviously on.

Darkness seems to Skyrocket my ''particle Vision''. Well whatever they are, they're enjoyable and inspired alot of my Drawings.

PS: No I didn't have any SP simultaniously. It's Usually when I walk to the LightSwitch to turn it off. As soon as I hit the Lights the weird ass particles appear dancing all around me. I lurv particles =D

I know what you're talking about in your other post icuurd12b42, I've seen those too I think. This is something different however. I looked at the simulation pictures on that website. Sometimes I get the 'starbursting due to floaters' but I never get the other things, and hope I never do! This is probably something similar though.

If these particles are the result of something inside our eyes, then why now? I never noticed things like this when I was a kid, or maybe I was so full of life and joy I didn't care. Who knows...

I am not one to dismiss cool phenomenon but I do prefer the medical explanations over esoteric ones as it is much easier to get your head around it that way.

As you get older, it is unfortunate but, you will gradually experience defects. I don’t see my floaters now. Maybe they’re gone. Bad diet may cause this in a long run.

I put it up so that people have at least something known to compare the phenomenon with.

googled "seeing energy". i went to a sorcery forum and found this:

Ahem...just stating the obvious, you see energy all the time. everything around you, from your room, to your computer, to you yourself, it is all a form of energy to its deepest creation. what you have to understand is how 'vision' works. you see energy, some see more of it, or less of it. those who can see more of it see more about the universe and some see less about the universe. it's simple, if you can see 'energy', then most likely it's really what's YOU are seeing. it's an individual thing.

Wow. Upon reading your first post, SKA, I must say I know exactly what you're talking about, however I thought I was the only crazy one.

Ever since I was a little boy I can see what looks like particles that seem to swarm around in the air. They move up and down and around and around, but I don't believe they follow a certain pattern. I discount SP simply because if I concentrated and relaxed at this very moment, I'd be able to see it- and i'm at goddam work.

It would be very interesting if this phenomenon is linked to an underlining implicate order, or a new age "energy" field, but I also must play Devil's Advocate and assume it could also just be a natural but very strange occurence that is linked with our eyesight.

I do know that: A.) I can see these particles either during the night when light is low, or in a setting where there are very bright artificial lights, such as at work or a porn studio. B) It seems that I must be in a relaxed state to witness said experience, and finally C.) when i ask if anyone else can see it, of course the answer is NO (which could be indicative of just a natural phenomena occuring with vision.)

Either way, I think the only way to find out would be taking scary amounts of shrooms and just asking the "energy-particles" themselves.

Have your tried the simulation software I posted. If you toggle the blood cells (a lot of "p"s) and boost the luminescence (a lot of "i"s), you get this effect.

Hey, you&#39;re right, that&#39;s exactly what it is. I just tried it.

Eye Floaters and Flashes Simulator

What we&#39;re seeing are retina blood cells apparently. If you change the "i" and "p" settings to 0.130000 and 500, that&#39;s roughly how I can see it.

Uh is this bad then? Do I possibly have retinal detachment going on?

I think you only have Posterior Vitreous Detachment if you get flashes. Fortunately I don&#39;t.

I think I have what you are saying, seeing all these very tiny dots in the dark? I started getting it when I was like 6, scared me. Thought my eyes were broken lol :content:

Do you have high blood pressure?

You will experience these (blood cell thingies) when you get a rush of blood to the head. Yawning, stretching, standing up after sitting for a long time, etc. All normal (unless it persists for more than a few seconds). If you have high blood pressure, you&#39;ll see it more often. Retinal detachment, you&#39;d notice as a progressive loss of peripheral vision (If I remember right). Ask your eye doctor about it.

Another possiblity besides Hypnaogics or the other things mentioned, is Kundalini lights in the head. I haven&#39;t experienced this. For a thematic on the subject see

I&#39;ve got the full version of this book and the author says he saw lights while falling asleep and when surrendering in prayer to God, they were "an aurora borealis of ultra-purple and shimmering gold lights. Sometimes the lights would assume round patterns: small circles would expand and eventually dissipate, only to be followed by other small circles of light."

Of course it&#39;s terribly difficult to judge someone else&#39;s experience or interpretation of an experience.

Some people are born with a "short circuit" in their brain, like a cross between connections that interoperate smell and vision. This phenomenon can result in the person to actually see what they smell/feel/(other sense). What they are said to see looks like an aurora of sorts, or a "cloud of distorting color." If one were to see what they felt, and they felt that a person was mad and they associated mad with the color red they would see a red aurora, or in your case whatever color you saw when you were with your parents. I don&#39;t know if this is what you are experiencing, but that&#39;s what it sounds like to me.

Well yeah my Mind is open to anything. I&#39;ve named it &#39;&#39;seeing energy&#39;&#39; because that is what it seemed like: Like one of those Transparent Energy-forceFields as seen in Science fiction movies. And thus I used the term Energy to prescribe it. It could very well be since I see more &#39;&#39;things&#39;&#39; that are of the same nature since I&#39;ve become more and more aware of the phenomenon. Sometimes colored shapes and bright white lights in the corner of my vision. they&#39;re usually there when I look around: I catch a glimpse of such a colored, illuminated shape very briefly. Nothing disturbing, only enjoyable and miraculous.

Whatever may be the cause it is there defenitely. And I always imagine &#39;&#39;gridlines&#39;&#39; of a second reality all around me on which I sometimes can see this Second reality. Especially very strong when I&#39;m on magic Mushrooms: what I see I interpret it as &#39;&#39; the second reality&#39;&#39; becomming more visable and projected on those &#39;&#39;gridlines&#39;&#39;

I&#39;ve actually seen a gridline reailty during Sleep-Paralysis when I layed there wondering what side I was laying on (and my brain produced a near perfect set of purple/blue 3d grids of objects in front of my field of vision).

Anyway, I think my peripheral vision is fine, I don&#39;t know, I&#39;ve never really payed attention to it before. I&#39;ll get it checked out by a doctor anyway.

I think I understand what the OP is saying and it is different from any of the effects that program presents. It&#39;s kind of like a static pattern I see in low light, and it&#39;s different from hypnagogic imagery or phosphors. It is really distinct when I&#39;m relaxed and never forms on people. It also isn&#39;t there when I&#39;m stoned, but is super-intense on cid.

Just noticed this topic, but i&#39;m a little confused. It seems either you people are talking about two distinctly differen phenomena or i&#39;ve interpretted SKA&#39;s original post as something other than what it is.

I get the little cell shadow things sometimes when i look into the sky. Not white dots, but silhouette type fragments. However, i thought SKA&#39;s original post was referring to something else....

When i was a kid i was often wake up in the night and find that i had coloured dots in my field of vision. However, unlike what most of you seem to be describing, they weren&#39;t moving in random directions and vanishing out of vision or anything like that. They were very stable, and they would move together in a rotational movement seemingly around my body/the bed. They never pulsated, never strayed from their solid "formation", they were just constant and moving in unison, around me. Or so it looked like. Imagine, if you can, being inside a bubble, and on the outside of the bubble somebody had drapped a net. At each crossing section of the net they had placed little coloured lights (not white, but solid colours). Now, imagine that this net is being pulled around the bubble in one direction and as a result all of the lights are moving around the bubble at the same speed, in the same direction. That&#39;s what it was like. I don&#39;t get this any more though. I haven&#39;t for years.

Oh wow I know what you are talking about. I&#39;ve seen those also before when I was younger I start staring up at the ceiling, I&#39;ll see a bunch of say.. yellow dots all start flying toward the right, and stop, and fly in a different direction. The odd thing is, I could control which way the would go. If they started going to the left, I would "to the right" and they decelerate to a stop, and go to the right, before switching to another direction on their own.

I should see if I can still see these.

You can do that looking at static on TV too. Make/find a shape out of the static and then you can move it around and it has momentum so it doesn&#39;t stop immediately, try it. I used to do it waiting for the teacher to work out the VCR anyway.

Yes&#33; I could do the same thing.

SKA: i think i see the same thing that you describe

Claiming it is energy you see when you see some random lights is pretty far feched. All you see is your braincells that normally recieve information from the nerveous cells in your eyes randomly getting activated. Or at least the part of your brain that proceces what you see that gets into a pratially dreamy state.

You cannot really see energy, it is all in your head (but still pretty pretty/cool).

Also, on the topic of &#39;seeing energy&#39;: people that &#39;see aura&#39;s&#39; see the same thing anyone sees if they stare at an object long enough, they see an optically-negative-colored outlining. Becouse your eyes can just see 3 kind of colors, if a few of them see the same color alot they give less intense signals to your brains, so if you move your head a fraction they give relatively more signals of one, two of the kind of nerve-cells than the other onces, thus producing an optically-negative color of the color of the object.

It&#39;s not that hard, just hard to explain :)

remember that everything seen with your eyes opened or closed is not nessecerially what is there, it is just an interpertation of your brain. Interpertations can be wrong.

Yeah, I&#39;ve seen them. I think that they are just an illusion (not to say that I don&#39;t believe in energy manipulation. I have made my fair share of psi balls). I can even change the direction of their movement at will. I am pretty sure that I am just changing my perception, like with those cubes that can be looked at in two ways.

The sillhouette particles I see when I look in a blue Sky are different, but I thought it was the same thing but looked different in daylight.

The &#39;&#39;Bubble&#39;&#39; that you prescribe sounds very familiar to what I&#39;ve seen alot as a kid when I awoke from a nigthmare and got into my mom&dad&#39;s bed. Like a sphere around the bed, and outside the sphere would be the light particles, colored, transparent. They would sometimes kind of float around like dust, rather slow. More like they were steady in place but they were waving a little. If you were to grab the nets left and right and start pulling it left and right up and down. Like falling light snowflakes but the n colored dots.

ok I&#39;m going to tell you something i&#39;ve experienced and tell me if its similar to what your talking about because I can&#39;t really pin point what your talking about.

If I close my eyes and rub my eyes and keep my hands on my eyes in less than 30 seconds a dream like footage will start to shape. If I can hold it and concentrate enough it can probably turn into a dream. So one day I&#39;ve done it the longest ever (Maybe 2 mins) when I let go and open my eyes it always looks as if I just woke up but I could be riding a bike or doing anything in the real world, so I know I wasn&#39;t dreaming or even close to sleep.

So anyway that one day where I held it the longest a green like particle was forming now when I opened my eyes that same green circle was in the physical plane. I could turn my head and look back there and I&#39;d see the same green thing there. It wasn&#39;t until a maybe 15-45 mins did it then go away.

Few years back I couldn&#39;t tell if I was awake or dreaming, due to the fact that I would always see stuff around me. I still remember one time sitting in class hearing a big bang which made me jump up in class and keep note I was still awake.

Only thing I could think of it being is that some how you manage to shift on another level or plane or whatever you want to call it. Its kind of like hearing about ultra violent rays that you can&#39;t really see on this plane but if you had a special tool you could see it. Same with radio waves.

One thing is for sure though everything has energy, because if you can astral project your basically an energy but you can see your hands and stuff only if you perceive to see your hands and legs.

I do think you are seeing something but I don&#39;t know how.

Hey I&#39;ve noticed those colors and stuff you talk about, SKA. I see them all the time before I go to sleep, when I am deeply relaxed, when blood rushes to my head and when I push on my eyes&#33; When you push on your eyes you see many colors growing and spinning, like what Distant Light was talking about. ^^^
