Merging Realities (Waking & Dreaming)

I have noticed as many others have that waking life and dreams share various universal laws, such as that of creation and can be considered to be just another layer of a dream. In dreams we are free to create and manifest anything imaginable. I have found that this is true in waking life also, except the extend that we are able to differs. Whether we know it or not, we create everything that we experience, mostly unconsciously or unaware. I also tend towards the idea that we dream our waking reality into existence (Topic for another time I guess, but still relevant). Now this creation always starts with a thought that then gains momentum (energy) and eventually manifests itself via something external to us (Seeing, Hearing,...) which often seems like coincidence when we are aware of our thoughts. Now this law of creation applies to us individually and also as a collective so we create our own individual realities but also share a larger one. This explains why people are able to do extraordinary things, yet when there are other witnesses they may be unable to do so. There is a clash in thoughts about what is possible and generally the thoughts of the collective have been brought to believe that certain things are impossible. Yet I believe this is how miracles occur and how highly evolved beings such as Jesus may have indeed done the things that has been said.

My idea now is whether we can increase this level of manifestation in our waking life to that of a dream where we may instantly manifest our reality. The majority of times people start to lucid dream there is always the question of whether one could confuse waking reality to that of a dream. It seems highly improbable based on experience to confuse the two based on the way it feels, but it seems as though there is always the fear of it happening. So I wonder if this should be the goal. To merge realities and make waking reality as close to a dream as possible.

I know that huge problem in this is that we are always changing our minds and hardly focus on exactly what we want but also a lot of times we may manifest "wanting" something rather than "having" or "experiencing" it.

Just felt like it was time to share this to see what other people think about this and to hear your ideas and experiences if any. Any and all input is helpful since I just want to build a bigger image in my mind and learn more as there are bound to be gaps in my knowledge and experience. Feel free to move this to a more appropriate forum if needed.

You start with something that you present as a fact, but which is only a hypothesis (from the new age stuffs, the secret and so on), each one can agree, or not, but it is far from being a established fact.
Everything you will conclude from this hypothesis will leads to idea that will be further from any established point.

Perhaps there is an element of poor wording on my part. It is however something that is true from my experience and it is absolutely possible for different people to hold different truths for themselves at the same time. I do advise people to conclude this for themselves, but there isn't an established point and waiting for one misses the whole point. The matter at hand is that we have "free will" and are able to create our realities. At this very moment I am choosing to type this for example. On a more deeper level though you will find that everyone whether they see themselves as victims rather than causes are still in control of their actions, their emotions, their thoughts, etc. As a lucid dreamer you have probably noticed how you have influenced your dreams. It is the same thing, if you really pay attention, just not the same degree. And maybe it's not something that can be established considering how everything affects everything and we don't know what happens behind the scenes. There will always be opposing views... But I am pretty sure that it is an established point that everything starts with a thought. Otherwise how do we create things?

As thoughts lead us to actions, yes, there is no doubt that a thought can influence what is coming after, because we will react, act, build or destroy something, go somewhere and interact with other persons, and so on.

What is not a fact but a belief (true of false) is this famous magical stuff called "law of attraction" that gravitate around the new age field.
But it seams that you weren't meaning this kind of esoteric influence of thoughts, so it's ok for me.

Yes I meant that thoughts lead us to actions and etc, but also in relation to the 'law of attraction'. I hope this doesn't make you think any less of me because of it but I agree anyway that it is something not proven but also not unproven and therefore considered a 'belief' by some and others may hold the opposite 'belief' at the same time. Contradicting truths are possible considering most things are subjective. So now what? It is not something established as you say, so does that mean that the whole idea that thoughts influence more than our actions but that of external things should be completely distegarded?

I don't want to argue over how things are happening but rather hear what you or anyone else think in terms of the waking world being similar to the dreaming world and whether it can ever be the same where we do things like in our dreams. Bearing in mind that the physical waking world around us is not truly physical in the sense that everything is vibrating.

There is a cat in the middle of the hidden face of the moon.
If a certain amount of people start to claim that, if books are written presenting this as a fact, you will find more and more people who will argue that this is probably the case, and even people who will claim that those who don't believe this are mind closed.
Yes, nobody can prove that there is no cat, but using this fact as an argument leads to nowhere.

I think you take the question in the wrong way.
I think it is not reality that is like dreams but dreams that mimics the reality rules because of expectation and strong unconscious beliefs.
the only real "physical" rule in dreams is the power of thoughts, both conscious ans unconscious thoughts.
gravity works in dreams because we strongly expect it works, firstly because we think that we are awake, but even if we are lucid, gravity rules the dreaming world because of unconscious expectations.
But with conscious thoughts we can modify some stuffs, whether we are Lucid or not, because the dream world is made of thoughts.

We perceive dreams and reality the same way, because indeed we don't directly perceive reality, what we perceive is what our brain builds from the electrical signals inputs that sensory organs send to the brain, from the reality inputs its detect.

But the fact that our brain build a representation of our reality doesn't mean that the reality isn't a real independent world.
The dream world looks real but contrary to the real world, it is only a thoughts wold constructed by the brain from it's own internal functions, without any external input.
that is why we can influence the real like dream world by thoughts : it is a thoughts world based on nothing externally real.
Reality, no matter how any human animal or not human animal perceive it, is a solid and independent stuff.

Yes atoms, particles, quarks are probably vibrating stuffs, but take your car and go at 200km/h toward a solid wall, you will find that saying that reality is nothing but vibrations will sound very abstract to you.

Maybe, but I like to think that both are similar and neither came first like you are refering and that they are reflections of each other that exist simultaneously. Not that waking life mimics dreams or the other way around.
If the thoughts rule in dreams like that then why wouldn't it be the same in waking life, but to a different level of course. This life could be just a dream. It's just another layer that carries on infitively. What if someone thought the opposite of that and treated waking life like it's a dream and anything is possible. I think they would find that they can influence various things or there'd be a lot of coincidence. But it would be extremely hard to alter gravity or something that big that is so ingrained in the unconscious and collective conscious. That's why the majority of stories of experiences such as that of the 'law of attraction' are usually on an individual level. But if the collective shared the same thoughts it is likely that there would be some effect.

But it also doesn't mean that it is an independent world and the same could be said of the dream world that is indeed an independent world. The characters inside surely believe it so. But it is us that have the knowledge of waking life tend to determine that it isn't real. Like I have said before, waking life could be a dream and we would never know because we don't have access to the waking life of the dreamer.

Yes certainly. What I meant is that it isn't exactly concrete. Even if extremely unlikely because it is not fixed it could potentially be changed or re-arranged just like in the dream.

The co-creation of certain things like gravity, if not all the reality, is a belief (that comes from the same new age sources) that is often specifically anthropocentric.
humankind is only one animal spieces among thousands of millions other animal spieces, but who knows why, it is almost always about humans point of view.

Do you think that before the humankind exists G was not equal to 9.81?
Do you think that gravity changes if population changes from a date to another? (if "we" co create the gravity, it should change depending on how many we are to believe that)
if it did, very many things would change in the universe.

by the way, how can few microscopic bugs(humankind) distributed in something as insignificant as a grain of sand (earth) , which is absolutely nothing compared to the vastness of the universe, could modify the reality? (the whole universe).
Do you think that the universe is also a dream of the big dreamer?
According to astro physicists, this big dreamer have very stable and balanced dreams if the whole universe is the result of his dreaming big brain.

The more I read and lean from sciences, the less this idea that we co-create the reality (I did believe that in the past) makes sens to me.

About the psychological explanations of the law of attraction:

It's quite simple indeed, how you feel, what you think, your expectations, you fears or confidences, and so on, all of those stuffs modify your way of reacting, your way of paying attention to something or someone, and it will lead to different reactions, it will lead to different observations, because you are more focused on such a thing, and less on another etc..

If you are frighten, stressed, you will attract strange and maybe dangerous people because of how you behave, movements, way of looking people, voice intonations and so on are example of unconscious signals that the people you are scared about will unconsciously detect.
Basically, If you are afraid to be a victim, you will behave like a victim and you will be more easily noticed by aggressive people.

Another example:

if you are driving in a big city and are looking for a parking space, if you are late and stressed, you won't find any one, it will stress you even more, and so on.
if you let it down, relax, totally accept what IS (Like Eckhart Tolle and other gurus explain), you will find one free very fast, not because a magical law but because your mind will be less occupied in wondering, and will be more likely to notice the free parking space.

Very many aspects of the law of attraction can be explained by psychological points of view.

Yes! that is the kind of thing that I had in mind. And that is essentially the goal I am talking about too =) It's about pushing the boundaries.

What I have been doing is essentially observation. I notice often a thought that appears only for it to be realized moments later, sometimes much later. One example: whilst on the bus pondering random things I begun to think about what it would be like for someone to go out and lose their shoes and the experience of being shoe-less in public. Almost immediately I look outside and see a woman getting startled by a guy. They start talking and the woman points to her feet to which she is wearing only socks and no shoes.
What I noticed from this is that either I created that experience for myself or I picked up on it. Or perhaps both. I had the experience because it was something already happening but at the same time it happened because it was something I had to experience and both exist mutually.

Other than this, I state in my mind like a game things that I would like to experience, just for fun and as I see them happen I try to be more specific. Example: As I was explaining this game I like to do to a friend I came up with something on the spot and said "I would like to experience seeing a woman walking a small dog". I wasn't even trying to show my friend, had no second thoughts about it, it was just an example. Like 30 seconds later we walk by a woman walking a chiwawa. As we pass her I just point it out to my friend and he just nods. Other things I try is thinking of a song, movie or even running into a friend. I've tried being specific with meeting a friend and instead I will see something that reminds me of them or they will suddenly call me up.
What is interesting from this to me is how some thoughts are more "powerful" than others. We probably think billions of things everyday, and certain things that we think only once sometimes goes and happens. I am trying to understand why is that so. Have no idea.

I also have the habit of writing down stories of fantasy for my own recreation on a book I call "Stranger than fiction" (which is a based on a movie with Will Farrell) and more often than not I find similar situations happening as I have written down. On one occasion I created a character with purple highlights for her hair and as I created this I also thought how it'd be like if a friend of mine did this. About a year later my friend does this. It's just very peculiar to me.
Something very interesting from this is the essence of Time. This is very different in relation to the dream world so it seems to be a huge factor as to why we can't immediately create an experience. We do however move through time at various speeds at times which is something very curious to me and I am trying to learn more. How can we change the experience of time if at all, consciously. Also why certain things we experience immediately and others not.

I don't think we are the center of the universe like that but we are an essential part no matter how minuscule we seem to be. Just like the cells in our body are essential for us to function so are we in the grander scheme of things as we effect our planet which in turn will affect the solar system and so forth and so on. There is essentially no size to things as things will stretch on infinitely positively and negative in relation to anything.
I can't say for sure but even now it does vary but that's also because of how accurate are our recordings. I don't think that the change is huge but there is change. Everything changes.
The change I am talking about is immediate change to our reality. I don't think that we would be able to overcome gravity completely as you are probably thinking because humans are negligible as a whole. But we could momentary affect it and we probably wouldn't even feel the difference.
I don't think there is a big dreamer overall. It's something that has no end. There might be a big dreamer in relation to us but then there will be a big dreamer to our big dreamer and so forth and so on.
The problem is that we can't explain things like the universe with words. We still try just because but essentially our most in depth form of understanding is that of feelings, which can't be subjected to the methodology of science.

I agree, we are all living in our own paradigm based on our individual experiences and how we feel in any given moment, so we'll see what we see. You just described how the "magical law of attraction" works so it seems you do agree with it but don't like the way it's presented. I never claimed that it is a "magical law" like you say but rather that "how you feel, what you think, your expectations, you fears or confidences, and so on, all of those stuffs modify your way of reacting, your way of paying attention to something or someone, and it will lead to different reactions, it will lead to different observations" (your quote). Don't you see how what you just said is exactly how the 'law of attraction' works, and the only thing it suggests is for you to consciously "let it down, relax, totally accept what IS" in order to experience life how you want and be able to "notice the free parking space". If you are positive, you will have a positive experience. Others will detect the unconscious signals like you said and you will experience what you wish to experience. Therefore you are essentially creating your experience as your intentions are affecting the outcome in the end (via unconscious signals).

I think you're basically right. I believe reality is a spectrum with pure consciousness or "God" at the top, and physical reality at the bottom. It is a spectrum of energy density where the bottom is the densest and slowest. The layers exist in the same space in the same way that light and sound can exist in the same space at the same time.

So the dream/astral plane is basically the next layer/density up, and when we dream, we shift our focus to that layer of our consciousness. This explains the difference in how you create your experience on each level. I like to call physical reality "dreaming in slow motion." The energy here is denser, thus your thoughts take longer to manifest. Its the same law of attraction, but it works a little differently on different levels. The idea is that the aspect of physical reality is to help train us for higher states of existence.

There is a channelled entity called Bashar that talks about something called the template level reality where the higher aspect of your soul basically plans out elements of your life, and it can apparently be accessed while lucid dreaming so that you can consciously alter elements of your life. He also says that through mastering lucid dreaming you can essentially blur the line between waking and dreaming through maximizing your lucidity in both states. I dont have experience with this last part but it I something I'm working toward.

I dont know if you're familiar with channeling but I'll see if I can find the right video since it seems that this is exactly what you were talking about in your original post.

I hope that makes sense; the model I described is something that I have experienced as the truth but I can't prove it to anyone else. It seems to be in line with what you are saying. Ive experienced pretty much exactly what you've described in my own life, in large and small degrees. Would you say its an accurate model of watch you've been experiencing?

Yes, I believe in the LOA and this really interests me! Anyways, I dont want to debate on the subject of the LOA. I just wanted to add that people have had real results that are not just psychological. Three job opportunities have come into my life with little to no physical effort on my part. My last job LITERALLY walked through the door while at a not-so-great job. I'm at not-so-great work and they walk in the store informing me they are hiring and I'm like, great, hire me! At the time, even though I wanted a new job, I gave up on craigslist and gave up on physically job hunting. I left it all up to the universe to figure it out. So no physical effort plus belief equaled job.

Call it a coincidence if it makes you happy. But my experience tells me its real!


I've been wanting to merge dream reality and waking reality! Sure, LOA. But also, I believe in an omnipresent consciousness. And this is old school spiritual stuff. Its christian. Its hindu. Its buddhist. In dreams our subconscious is omnipresent! When we become lucid we can realize this and literally say "My subconscious is manifesting itself as everything in the dream. My subconscious is being both the dream characters and the dream landscape. I am literally inside of my subconscious, and even though my subconscious is now an environment around me, my subconscious is also still inside of me! And it is me." See! Our subconscious is omnipresent in dreams.

So I thought, its nice and all to say I believe in an omnipresent consciousness, but wouldnt it be great to take it a step further and experience that, for real?

I want to apply what I've learned in lucid dreams to waking life! I started doing that this week. When I'm awake, I focus on my environment much like when I'm lucid and tell myself that everything I'm looking at is all the stuff of mind. After awhile I get on a trippy buzz holding those thoughts! I also thought, for those who are interested in the LOA, its much easier to approach it if you approach it like a dream.

I tell myself "Okay, if I wanted to change the dream, how I do that while lucid?" And then I do that!

Yeah it makes sense to me. I've read a lot of similar things before and it seems to match my experience. Though I don't know enough at other levels of the spectrum I also see that a higher part of myself is in charge of that.

Glad to hear how you've experienced this kind of thing. I also see that there is a consciousness in everything around us and when we are in sync with that and respect it we can feel it, hear it, see it through anything, since it's everything! I actually learned this lesson in a lucid dream I had where I attacked a mirror for no reason and cracked it, only to find it wrote a message telling me to stop. So I started applying this kind of respect in waking life and there was some cool results. Like when something wasn't working I'd say "please" to it and "thank it" and it would suddenly work. Sometimes it didn't but it doesn't hurt to try. What I've found is that a "Thankful" perspective towards things is essential to manifesting something as you need to "have something" before you can "have it". It is essentially a prayer. It's about intent and not merely saying it. You have to mean it. That's why I like to write down and visualize a lot of the things I wish to experience as it helps me believe it. Cool thing is that is works in helping me have lucid dreams =)

Very interesting question to think of different perspectives, I can't say I've thought about it before so I have no idea. But if I were to guess I would say that on a primal level of instinct or intent. It feels hungry so it goes looking for food and attracting the experience of finding food. Who knows?!

Edit: Just had an interesting moment happen where my mum just said that she looked at her plants and "heard" them asking for water (Not literally). It's a feeling that she needs to go an water the plant. So perhaps that's how the plant is attracting that experience. It's fascinating to me that's all.

The same way it works for all conscious beings! Except if you aren't aware of the process than you are creating by "default". Snails, like all animals, desire food, sex, safety. And then there are the things they fear (omg salt). Their lives are a reflection of that.

The LOA is the result of mind. If it has a mind, then it is by default co-creating along with all the other minds. The species doesn't matter. What matters is mind. And its not a choice. The LOA says MIND = LOA. We don't have a choice.

Youre also inferring that people who believe in the LOA they think of it as some sort of magical supernatural process. Errr. Wrong. I think the problem with the LOA as its understood in the west is that it was taken out of context! The movie The Secret talked about the LOA but didn't talk at all about the omnipresent mind. If you wanna talk LOA you have to also start talking about omnipresent mind, whether you consider it a field of consciousness or whether you call it brahman. Does the LOA say the moon didn't exist until there was a human to observe it? No its not saying that. The universe is old, I don't remember, it was something like 14 billion years old right? That's a really long time. And when the LOA is put back into its proper context *eastern spirituality* that's 14 billion years of consciousness, at least. (and according to science there was no time before that!)

The point is, we humans have only been around for a blip of that time. The LOA originates from eastern spirituality so we need to keep it in that proper context. Mind came before humans.

When I go for a nature walk, I don't feel at all that earth is the mind-creation of humans. Actually, of all the organisms out there I think its the plant kingdom that have successfully created a paradise on earth, a paradise for themselves! What else could a poor defenseless plant possibly desire more than to have an animal species pander to its every need? We water them. We feed them. We kill their enemies and then spread their offspring all across the globe. And we do this for 1000's of species that offer us ZERO SUBSISTENCE, so we can't even say its about food because it aint! For many plant species, humans are a dream come true.

I was thinking of the imagination (almost has magic in the word itself). All around you right now is ur imagination on display. I used to see the imagination as a lifeless blip, a moments thought. With my dream work I'm beginning to know the imagination as living and real.

There is a spectrum of 'presence' which ranges from the imagination on full display before you now to the imagination that lingers softly as we daydream or think. In this view the entirety of experience is imagination living and breathing. Working to enhance one part of the spectrum will naturally effect the rest

For the average person, their imagination runs wild and untamed. But I challenge you to know you can tame it. A mighty dragon that can work with you rather than on its own accord

It's also amazing how daydreams can be really powerful and pull you in so much that you are usually shaken out of it. For the brain both experiences (waking and dreaming/daydreaming) are happening and are valid. So I'm wondering what kind of things do you and anyone else here do to tame your imagination and build a relationship with this 'presence' in waking life. Or even Dream control techniques that could potentially be transferred to waking. That would be interesting.

This is some really good stuff. Oh yeah another thing I have read and have been implementing in my life is to journal waking life. Waking life is easier to journal so I have every single day since I started some months ago whilst dreams I still pick and choose. What is interesting is how when going through the day you will often find some major 'Symbolism' or 'Omen' just like in dreams that stand out and you know that it is of great significance. From what I read and the reason I do this is to potentially make the task of becoming lucid easier since when we dream there are often some residue. Can't say it has helped in this sense but I also see it as a way of maintaining a record of events for the whole day; maintaining awareness throughout the whole time as opposed to only what we bring back from dreams. It is also a good memory exercise.

Interesting thread.

I successfully merged dreams with reality for about a week by constantly pretending I was in a dream, and deluding myself into believing it was a dream. When I would wake up in the morning, I would try to carry over my dreaming state and hold onto it for the rest of the day, whilst constantly imagining reality was a dream, and that people were dream characters and everything was a product of my mind. It got to a point where the line between dreaming and wakefulness was blurred and I had trouble distinguishing between the two. I had many odd coincidences and synchronicities occur during this time and it was like my thoughts were affecting reality. However, my mind became foggy and I felt drowsy very sleep-like similar to autopilot with a hard time remembering things clearly.

The way it affected my dreams was like being conscious all the time but at a low-level of awareness. It was like there was no transition from waking to dreaming or vice versa, just a constant flow of consciousness and awareness. It was a very fun and unique experience but I won't be trying it again any time soon. If it wasn't for the low level awareness and foggy mind and memory due to constantly tricking myself then it would definitely be worth more exploring.

Wow! That is very interesting. I will definitely give that a go at some point. Maybe I will start slow... That constant flow of awareness is something I am looking for as I've had it at times in dreams but not so constant. Thanks for sharing!

Okay so I've been thinking about doing this for some time now but i have been preoccupied with other matters until now. I think I am able to direct a bit more of my awareness to this in my lucid dreams; so what I plan to do now is to seek information on this topic via the dream world. That's where you guys come in. You can join me or just help me come up with ideas to do this, like questions. I have learned things before through asking DC's questions, and being in the dream world means I can directly test things too, although it won't necessarily be the same as in waking. I will try to ask things directly to the dream as I have already encountered the awareness behind dreams before.

Some questions I have in mind at the moment to begin:

•"Show/teach me the process of manifesting something in waking life"

•"How does the process of creation differ in dreams compared to waking life?"

•"How may I channel my intent in order to manifest something?"

•"How does time affect manifestation of things in waking life?"

•"Is the dream world necessary for the creation of waking life?" or "Do we dream up what happens in waking life?"

I do realize that this will take along time and it's a lot of questions for me to carry out, especially since I have lately been in a dry spell and also it's very likely that I may not even learn anything useful considering how random dreams can be. I still think it's worth a shot and would value any contribution! :)

Had an interesting non-lucid dream that touched on something that might be important in all of this or at least something else parallel with this that I find really interesting. so throughout the whole dream I had a feeling that everything had already happened (in a dream or not) and that I knew what was about to happen, like Déjà Rêvé. I then asked a DC "whether he thought possible that we could be reliving something that already happened" and as I asked this I had an insight that this exactly what might be happening. We keep reliving every moment over and over again and every time we go through it again, we gain a little bit more of awareness which allows us to change "destiny".

I know this could have just been a false memory of having experienced the event, but what was interesting was the aspect of time here. I see that time is an illusion to us and that we are simultaneously living every moment of our life right now. So I think it's possible that we are somehow able to feel something that is happening in the "now" which is actually in the future to our relative now, and therefore be able to change our future "now" (that was confusing, sorry). So the idea this really gave me was whether it's possible to have that feeling of intuition or Déjà Rêvé at all moments in waking life like I had in my dream. It seems like it would be a major part in creating reality and would be really cool. Like that Nicholas Cage movie 'Next' :)

The objective behind any method I practice for awakening is to connect with the idea to the point where i am experiencing it. That's manifestation, reality, dream in a nutshell. So the method really, is irrelevant. The magnitude with which you can connect with the dream is the goal. And it is a learning curve, getting easier with practice. Also, while trying to connect/manifest its easy to notice what is holding you back. I notice the doubt, the uncertainty, maybe even fear of success when I am manifesting the dream of reality.

So what about the times where it seems like everything is going wrong?? You can turn your situation (which is really just the current state of your mind/dream) as fast as you can blink when you get good, learning to control and navigate the seas of your mind.

I still wish I could pinpoint what exactly works for me. Sometimes I feel so close, where things occur almost instantly that is just unbelievable. It's so true though that it seems to get easier with practice and we can notice things that sometimes hold us back. Yeah I can notice when I get in a negative mood or when I'm just obsessing over something and all it takes is that awareness and I can change my mind state.

One thing I have been thinking for a long while now is deliberately manifesting some kind of situation that would clash with someone else's free will. I don't want to do that, but in a way everything we do affects everyone and ultimately everyone has a choice depending on how aware they are. People influence other people all the time too. But I still wonder if it's just a matter of awareness on their part or maybe intent on ours.

I can see awareness and free will being proportionately related to each other. The most aware dreamer may also have the majority control over the realm?

Still tho what is 'more' awareness or 'majority' control? I've been breaking down quantitative ideas like more, less, better, worse, faster, time, space etc. to better understand spacelessness. Understanding that the mental model we experience occurs in a spaceless place. Not that it is in an infinite space, not that it is in a finite point, but spaceless, timeless, unless we entertain the ideas of space and time.

I see. That makes sense I guess, at least that's true to most of my lucid dreams, in terms of control but it's not always the case. Sometimes there are still some restrictions even when I am in high awareness in dreams. It's interesting how sometimes very vivid and stable dreams actually mean less control in terms of doing out of the ordinary to our waking life stuff. Probably due to our unconscious expectations in waking being present here?

I also see this experience being in a spaceless and timeless model but the problem then comes on how to experientially know this in being. So far the closest I have been has been with the use of drugs, but it's hard to retain that feeling.

Drugs are ok but I don't like to use them as they have side effects and are a crutch. All you need is your imagination, because everything is imagination. Believing in the drug is believing that something u created has more power than you. When you take a drug, what you are actually doing is releasing your imagination's inhibitions by trusting that xxxx will take you to a certain mental space. But you can cut out the middle man and just know that you van achieve the same and greater results without any drugs.

Its funny, when I mention an idea like timelessness or spacelessness your imagination instantly knows what tht is and takes you there. Even if it is only a faint idea you still see the place in your imagination. You don't need anyone to tell you but it's somehow reassuring when someone does.

Drugs, books, google, or dreamviews can't tell you the answer nearly as quickly or fully as the intuitive concepts your imagination will show you.

To immerse yourself in the experience, or manifest it seems to be a matter of connecting with the idea. That's as much as I have so far

Everything is pretty much fair game (drugs, books, etc) as it's all a part of the imagination but should be used appropriately in a way that serves you rather than us serving it. it's true that we don't need anything to achieve whatever we want but a big problem that all humans seem to have is that we are not masters of our bodies. We get sucked into the role, which is also part of the fun of living but because of it we end up missing out on our true potential that sometimes we are not even presently aware. And drugs or anything can trigger somethig we never thought possible that suddenly changes our way of thinking and helps us move on and grow.

Yeah it always seems to come down to being in the now. To be fully engaged in the present, lucidly. So when we are able to immerse ourselves in the experience we wish to have and fully experience it without actually experiencing it, then we seem to manifest it and be able to physically experience it (We need to already have something in order to experience that thing). It's a paradox. what you give is what you get, so we have to give what we don't have to get it.

I agree, it is all fair game and its just a matter of remembering you are able to achieve with or without.

I would say that immersion IS experiencing. Just by imagining even slightly you have manifested. As of right now I assume you are immersed in the delusion of waking life. All immersion is delusion, whether it be a daydream or the experience before you now. The intensity of the delusion can be enhanced with focus and also fade away through changing focus

Its new for me to see the world like this, but imagining even slightly is experiencing. It is just as real as the more intense visualizations of waking life, the goal is to swap intensity so that the desired dream is more intense. My best methods so far with this are shared in the other thread, other than that meditation. As ways of connecting with the concept desired.

I love this goal because rather than attempting to escape from reality, you find reality as it truly is

Ah I see what you mean now. I agree, even imagining is experiencing and the degree of focus on the intensity will change how immersed we are. Yeah looking at reality like this is what makes it all worth it.

This is fun, lucid living to this degree is like a game in remembering how to use your imagination.

These past couple of days I've somehow become more immersed in my imagination, to the point where I have had some hallucinations lol. Couple of days ago I distinctively saw a mouse go across in front of me, but other than that there are no signs at all of any mouse present (there were some mouses before in the house and they made various sounds and left various traces including waste droppings). So now I actually think I may have just imagined it. Also, yesterday I thought I heard someone calling me down. Went down to find no one called me. It's interesting because the first reaction is to think this is a bad thing, and that I could become schizophrenic. At the same time I am curious and wonder if this is it. The dream merger. I had little sleep the night before yesterday so it could just be that I was sleep deprived then but the first one I have no explanation.

Also tried some active immersion whilst watching football (Non-American - soccer) and actually got to experience exactly the result I focused on. At first I had a thought that my team would get scored upon and a few minutes later they did. I then realized that I thought this and tried to actively think for my team to score. Kept chanting in my mind "I choose to experience *my team's name* scoring a goal before the first half finishes". In the last minute of the first half we score. Then on the second half I did the same thing again as well as trying to feel how I would if my team were winning and how it would look on the scoreboard. Just as the game was about to finish it was still 1x1 and I remembered how in the first half it happened when the game was ending, so maybe it would happen again now. Almost instantly, my team scores again.

Another thing, yesterday I came across a quote I had written some time ago: "you predict the future because you create it. And you create it by taking the past, adding to it the intent and thought, and practice of the present and create what's coming up in the future by doing that."

Maybe there's a way to download more powerfully into the subconscious.

I firmly believe that though the conscious is nice, it is only like a small rudder on a large ship, where the ship is the subC. If we consistently immerse the subconscious into the goal we should be able to get results much more quickly. Also think of the iceberg analogy of the subconscious. Where the conscious is the small bit above water and the subC is the large mass underneath.

Well consider this:

It was and is a hallucination, but so is everything.

Everything you see is a hallucination. Visual, audio, etc. When all these synch together it is a hallucination perceived as real. So is there really a mouse? Yes as long as you imagine it so.

I started looking into Neville Goddard's work yesterday. He has many but this is a good one where he describes persistence in belief. I'm excited to listen to more of his work when I have the time

TLDR: If the video is too long it basically covers the importance of persistence in practicing what you believe vs what you see, and how supernatural results are possible that way.

I've heard of anchors, I need you to refresh my memory but I think we may have the same idea here. For an extreme example, if every day you wake up in a palace vs every day you wake up in a junk yard you will have different perspective on your day. The setting can influence our beliefs

Really cool vid. Hadn't heard of Neville Goddart before but now I will definitely check more of his stuff out. The "I AM" concept is something I am really taken into. I got to experience oneness through the use of drugs and that changed my whole life. But even before that, there this guy I found out years ago whose work led me to change my life completely. His name is Paul Solomon, and he was psychic who channel a 'source' that would answer questions and give various teachings on subjects of life. One thing it always said was that the name of God can only be said to be "I AM" because it is everything. Therefore we are God. But God as we humans think being all powerful is I guess the next step that we will eventually become. So we may not be God's as we humans see it, but eventually we will be so we therefore are. There is only one consciousness in the universe and it is us! When I first felt this oneness I was actually pretty bummed out as I realized how lonely we are haha. As for anchors that's not quite what I meant I think. But I see what you mean with the perspective affecting belief. I don't know much about it to be honest but you know how we can listen to a song and suddenly feel exactly as we felt at another period of our life and feel all the stuff we felt then. That nostalgia. Well anchors as I know it is how we can sort of program into an action/object/word, a feeling or emotion. So that everytime we do that action/touch the object/hear or say the word, we experience that feeling. And the way to do it is to associate the action/object/word with the feeling obviously, but by using visualizations and using the senses. Something like that. So what you said earlier made it seem like we could use symbols and such things to help in the manifestation of our hallucinations just like in a dream we might make use of dream objects for dream control.

Edit (forgot to include this): That sounds like a cool episode. I've had it a few times in dreams where it feels like a different storyline is happening simultaneous or that it keeps going back and forth between storylines. It is all about focus then I guess. just like how there is no good or bad. It's all subjective depending on the point of view. Like you said, it's all about connecting to idea or hallucination desired.

So, I've been listening to more talks like Allan Watts and Neville Goddard. It was a nice weekend. I spent a lot of it training with the imagination and resting my mind. I started really going deep with this process in May, so a couple months now. But I thought of an idea:

Time Capsule

This method would be best after practicing with another Waking Dream Control technique for some months.

The Method
1. Collect everything you have created in relation to your goal into a box
2. Label the box with a date X in the future
3. Store the box away until the appointed time
4. Think about other things
5. Come back to the box at date X and see the results

X can range from hours to days to years. Whatever you would like.

I gotta say though, I don’t really like this method. Mostly because the idea of stalling for time bothers me a lot. Still, I can see how this method works.
I run into the problem of time a lot when I think about Waking Dream Control. I’m so attached to the idea that time exists. But there is no time really, and once that is understood (connecting to the idea of timelessness) then time can be used as a tool to play with rather than a law to live under.
But I still thought that a method like this could be useful. Sometimes when focused on an idea for too long it becomes difficult to come up with new insights, or I become constantly in my thoughts rather than experiencing the moment before me. So with this it allows the mind to become distracted from the goal and engaged with the dominant reality, while the envisioned reality comes to exist without our direct focus.

That's really nice. Lately I haven't been very focused and my thoughts have been a bit scattered. I do remember one period of my life a couple of years ago where I felt present, for at least a month straight, and I remember thinking so clearly and having so much energy, it was truly amazing. That's how I'd imagine great beings like Jesus would constantly be.

I think there is definitely something to this method. Because when we focus on an idea for too long then like you say it becomes difficult to come up with new insights but also I think it might emphasize the lack of that idea for example. If that makes any sense (The more we think about what we want, the more we are acknowledging the lack of whatever it is we want). So having it a the back of the mind might be best rather than something we are constantly thinking about. A problem I think I would have with this is how specific would I be for my goal for example. The more specific I get the more doubt I feel there is in my mind which is not good or constructive. I think I will have both specific and vague goals to test it. Will let you know how it goes if I do.

I have way too much fun focusing on this concept so I think what I will do is time capsule all that I have worked on so far (mark it for 2 years in honor of One Piece time skip) and start fresh!

This way I can still practice and develop new techniques while leaving all that I've dreamt up so far to the subconscious!

-Da Story Habit Induction Technique-

Another trick for Waking Dream Control I am playing with is Plot and Story. This is kind of like organizing archetypes. For most scenarios we have a general script or plot already written out. The plot of our morning rituals happening, the plot of how our relationships with the opposite sex works, the plot of how school or work is. There is also an overarching plot of how we believe our life will go. Working with plot on all levels will immensely change a persons path.

Exercises for strengthening this skill could include writing a story for our future days or years. Another exercise is to write out a specific sector of your life (job, school, relationships,finance etc) as you would like to see it. The most fun IMO is the option to write stories that are true dreams rather than just realistic. Stories with plots where you have all sorts of psychic abilities and allies, mythical pets, etc. Go all out. They say if u shoot for the moon you land in the stars.

This isnt a one shot deal, unless you just 'get it' and have a waking lucid your first time writing. Instead, through writing many short stories about yourself, you restructure your classic plot style. A new storyhabit is formed. Eventually you start noticing the plots you usually think for your life as you are thinking them.You will naturally stop a bad plot in its tracks and start Imagining better plots for your life and the new plots will become dominant. Starting off however, it is best for a Waking Dream Controller to write plots down. It is of similar importance as a Dream Journal for regular lucid dreamers. This is how you notice the story habits you are already forming. It also exercises and enhances your creativity.

This is stronger than trying to change just one action because actions effect just a moment, plot effects the lifetime structure of the dream. Also, theme. Where plot is the story line, theme is the mood or the feeling behind the story. You can sense the mood you have already built for your life. It changes from one event to the next, one phase of your life to the next, but you can adjust themes of specific sections of your life as well as the overarching theme of your life by just using those exercises.

Final Notes: relax. The story coming true or not in exact detail isnt the key. Keep on and they will come true, but the focus is having fun using your imagination. Also, this is a long term permanent fix rather than a quick temporary fix. In that way it is similar to All Day Awareness in that the practice is on going.

Anyway, a short paragraph a day is good enough. Going in depth also helps, like doing a 3 page story if you get really into it. But its more about consistency. So doing a 5 sentence story every day for 90 days straight is many times better than a 3 page story for 10 days on and off. 90 consecutive days is a recommended time frame in order to create a strong habit. After that your mind will naturally create more desirable stories and waking dreams. You can always return to Da Story Habit Induction Technique for fun or to recalibrate your waking plot

When it comes down to it, if we don't fix our self talk we could end up coming back to the same place over and over because our story is stuck in Classic Mode. And as I notice my self talk I notice the negative and the positive. Not just in words but also in pictures and emotions. The perspective from which we habitually see reality

(Damn, speaking of haki, I just heard a phone vibration as if ringing. So I pick up my phone thinking that was weird and bam! it starts to vibrate from a phone call).

I like Da SHIT method hehe, it's similar to what I used to do which I think I wrote about it earlier in this thread where I just wrote stories and created a character, etc. I used to do it like this where I would write every other day and carry on from where it left of. Even if it doesn't actualise in physical reality I at least still get to experience it as I write it, just like writing down a dream in a journal. See it's actually interesting that you brought it up because last couple of nights I have been thinking of starting it up again and also to create my own world which I could go to in my dreams (a persistent realm). This is just another confirmation motivating me to get on with it :)

That was good talk on self talk. Yeah, everything seems to be a cyclical and we are bound to come back, the least we can do is come back with awareness of it.
Maybe the way it goes is something like this: THOUGHTS ----------> WORDS (Self talk) ----------> EXPERIENCE
So if we want to change our thoughts to ultimately change our experience we need to: EXPERIENCE ----------> WORDS (Self talk) ----------> THOUGHTS
so we are back in the paradox and there goes that saying "Fake it till you make it".

Been reading about sexual energy and Chakra systems, and I think they may be a key part in manifestation. Harnessing this energy instead of wasting it for pleasure (not that it is a waste) seems to be a important step into creation and unleashing creative energy into manifestation. Still not exactly sure of how one uses it though, most things I read are very vague and seem to mention a withhold from sexual release but not exactly how one can direct such energy. I am guessing intention and action may be enough. I can definitely feel a greater flow of energy the longer I withhold so this should be interesting to see :D

I looked into sex magic briefly, mostly because of Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich' which also covers these topics. He has an entire section dedicated to the idea. It's a popular book so maybe you've read it already but check it out if you haven't.

I've been continuing in the practice, I just didn't have much new to add this past month. Still here is a list of things I have been doing.

Mind Practices:
-Mantra Alarm Clock (passive): Set my alarm clock to wake me up with my mantra which is "Have heart", a call to my consciousness to believe even when I can't see it.
-Dream jewelry (passive): A bracelet that says 'Dreams Come True' as a reminder through the day to keep my mind aligned with dream consciousness. On the other arm is a dream catcher bracelet for the same purpose.
-Conversation: Conversing in depth with friends about dream reality
-Reading: I bought some books including one by Neville Goddard and read through them the past month
-Room Decoration (passive): I bought some inspirational posters and decorations that remind me to keep strong with the dream path. One wall decal I got makes it look like there is a hole in my wall leading to the universe, very surreal feeling.
-Wish Jar (passive): any time I come home with change in my pocket I throw it in a wish jar. Make a wish, throw it into the jar. When the jar is full I'll bring it to a bank or something and these wish coins will be scattered around the world.
-Cellphone background (passive): A background that reminds me to dream waking life consciously
-Brainstorm: I am always developing stronger ways to condition my mind for dream consciousness, I also contemplate dream reality in depth in my free time


What I am doing here is saturating my psyche with dream consciousness, the hypothesis is it will override waking consciousness. The genius of the passive methods is that they stay in the background as constant reminders keeping your mind in check as you go about your day.

I've been reading a lot of Neville Goddard's stuff and really gotta say thank you for showing me his stuff. I'm getting more and more used to just using my imagination for things and accepting that they'll come true and they have!

So I've be trying to actively do that more and also am back to writing some short stories everyday just to inspire my dreams and things like that. Lots of small details of things I've been writing about appear in my dreams and waking life too. Lost a little focus lately but it's all good. Just gotta focus on that feeling of wonder and curiosity some more to keep me motivated.

And I'm still playing about with the idea of retaining sexual energy. Been doing some yoga regularly too which helps. I'll try to maintain this creative energy for about a month or so and see how things feel and notice any differences.

In general have been much more aware so it definitely feels like I am creating my own reality. Life is amazing haha!

Hey Rodrodrod, as per ur question on the flash card thread post 52 here shows the difference between passive and active techniques (tekks). Passive tekks will allow u to go abkut your day doing dreamwork without actively trying. If you install many passive tekks in your daily life you will end up thinking from the dream mindset more often. It becomes a habit. Manifesting is a habit. We manifest what we habitually think.

Sometimes there will be a random spike of high belief and insight, that is what being lucid is but rather than depend on a random spike of insight it is best to raise your baseline level of lucidity through persisting in lucid habits of thought. Passive tekks are actually my favorite and currently I have 15 diff tekks I do on a daily basis without trying. I will post later with more ideas of ways to implement passive dreaming of reality.

Yeah I see, I was just thinking in terms of why certain things happen whilst others don't. It seems to be almost random at times. For example, today I was in university at a clinic which had 3 patients booked for the afternoon. As someone asked this I answered but they understood that there were 2 patients booked. So then we cleared things out but almost 10 mins later one of the patients cancelled so indeed there were now 2. Do you see what I mean? I had no desire for or against this happening yet it happened. But I agree that the passive techniques reinforce the habit and is always good to do them. I guess I am trying to work out the mechanics. But yes, please post more ideas if you have them, or you can even send me a pm. Always keen on hearing them!

There is the idea that the universe is deterministic. In two ways. One if I play around with the position of the sun say move it back a few hundred miles people would freeze to death. If I move it a few hundred miles closer people would die from extreme heat. Sorry to be so morbid but everything is just the way it needs to be for a planet, solar system or universe to function. Scientists know and have said many times if you fiddle with the fundamentals of the universe it always has detrimental consequences. I think this deterministic idea trickles all the way down to our day to day lives in that what was meant to happen is going to happen. I think the creative aspect and in the realms of plausibility is the idea of multi universes. If scientist prove they exist beyond mathematical theory ( which I think they will) you would not need to create anything you just pick a universe that matches what you desire. I think there's definitely a sense of the universe being deterministic but also that it's a paradox. So what was meant to happen will happen because it's a part of one of the possibilities. Like you cannot have something that is not possible as a possibility of happening, to happen. So in a way it will always happen as it's meant to since it's a possibility. Yet I think there are various possibilities which we can affect and alter the choices in our lives but it will still go in a certain path. So we should be able to choose the pathway or "universe" that matches our desire. Interesting to think about for sure.

Yeah synchronicity does seem to be a factor. I was thinking also since we each have our own manifestations going on that co-exist, so the expectation of the other person influenced the outcome, but this doesn't explain every scenario so I think synchronicity does that better.

Ya, still I understand what you are saying and synchroicity doesnt explain it fully either. It seems like you are asking why some events manifest when there is very little to no focus/attention/will behind it. That is a very good question. It actually sounds like there may be a force in play that we are overlooking. A force that is stronger than effort. Something that allows an idea to break past the threshold of thought into reality with absolute ease...

I've been thinking that all of these daily habits and practices are very effective in getting us focused on a goal for manifestation but ultimately the determining factor for it all is AWARENESS which there are varying levels of. It feels almost impossible for us to maintain a high level of awareness all the time and I wonder why. It feels like it has a lot to do with willpower but then also affected by everything from diet, energy, stress, etc. I've often heard that a true master is conscious of every action and movement in terms of purpose which is fascinating but sounds exausting.

Now from lucid dreaming practice this doesn't seem to work by only doing exercises like reality checks. I guess I don't know what I am getting to here. Feels like it's almost like we need to do it in order to do it if that makes sense. I also think that we are very limited in the awareness we do have. Since we don't really know the bigger picture it makes it harder to be aware, like we may know it theoretically rather than experientially. If we knew how it truly felt to be all there is, all there ever was, and all there ever will be for example, then we'd be easily able to create things, get out of our bodies at will, etc. But then it would almost be pointless as the whole point seems to be for us to remember how to do all these things hah!

This is true, awareness is important. That said, awareness tends to our habits. What do we have a habit of being aware of? That births our reality. Habit exercises remove the burden of constant CONSCIOUS awarensess. After pushing to build a habit it now becomes a constant UNCONSCIOUS awareness. No effort needed, it is an engine that is always on. That is the theory behind the practice.

That said the mind can wander aimlessly even in our best efforts to remain focused. It's almost like consciousness is Super-ADD and this is whether we 'dream' or are 'awake'. We think the story makes perfect sense only because we are easily distracted and prone to assuming normalcy. We might think: Oh, I'm with my friends from highschool and we're on a rocket ship with Van Halen? What a normal cool day! Anyway, I hope there's food I'm hungry. Or maybe we could think: Oh, I walked through that wall? What a weak wall! I better fix it though, maybe my ex girlfriend who just showed up out of no-where might help me.


Think about it though, if we didnt have issues with the mind wandering, everyone would be able to lucid dream easily 100% of the time. It would be as easy as holding the minds focus on the dreams of choice as we drift to sleep. (Not that we need to sleep to lucid dream)((Also maybe it really is that easy and we are just deluding ourselves into thinking its not LOL))

Honestly, I dont have a solution to your question, yet it is a wonderful question. Maybe the answer lies in what DOES capture our attention for extended periods and how? For example:

Stories
Movies
Videogames
Beauty
Tasks
Etc...

When thinking about it like this, we may be able to find something that will allow us to anchor our attention in the correct spot with enough persistence and fortitude to make shockwaves of dream-change in reality.

I see, I guess as long as you are aware that you are unconsciously aware, if that makes sense. Because often enough when a habit is formed we then tend to overlook it so it goes back to being on autopilot.

I think that one of the problems we have is the way our society is built, the way the system works, also as a result of the increase in technology, laws, etc. There is too much distractions, stress and we get lost in the theater of life. We are probably still in the process of adapting to this, but there is a definite disconnect in our society with the important aspects of life and nature.

Maybe it should be as easy as easily lucid 100% of the time, but then people wouldn't appreciate it as much, so in that sense I am thankful for knowing what it's like to not be lucid all the time so that when I do I am somewhat appreciative. But thinking about those examples you gave me and from my own interest and experience, I see that a common factor in those experiences is the sense of loss of perception of time which is something we are not so aware of in our day to day as we are stuck with the illusion of time always rushing off whereas if we were still hunters and gatherers we wouldn't have the same sense of urgency. Maybe I'm wrong of course. But yeah, think when we lose the perception or need for time it is easier for us to access the past and future as it is all happening simultaneously.

Another thing that perhaps includes this habitual practices is to be habitually creating everything. Since the more we do it the easier it should be to do it. That's one thing I'm trying to incorporate into my life is just to always be imagining things I would like to see manifested whenever,wherever. So forming the habit of frequent creation would definitely be helpful as it would automatically make you aware in a way, since we are always in the process of unconscious creation.

Society, the laws, the system. Not to worry, that is just us in confusion with ourself. We are one.

Also we are always creating, i think, even as unaware of it as we may be.


As for time, that is a good mystery that ties in well. Every moment of experience is non-local, meaning a 'moment' has no place or time where it exists.

A moment is like an idea. In a moment is the idea that 'this' moment happened before it and 'that' moment happened after it. In a moment is the idea of sensations of sounds and touch. In a moment is the sensation of time passing too. The sensation of time passing does not mean time is passing though. It is an impression, and a convincing one at that. Still, having a strong impression that time is passing does not mean that is what is actually happening.

Its a fascinating thing, please let me know if that made sense

Yeah but the confusion means we are not feeling one with ourselves, even though we may know it theoretically we don't know it experientially, otherwise the world certainly wouldn't be in the state that it is. But I do think we are on the brink of a shift in consciousness. But it's not something that interrupts manifestation anyways.

Yeah I agree, I think the same, I only meant that maybe the habit of constantly exercising CONSCIOUS creation in our minds all the time would be a beneficial habit as you've pointed out about habits. In this way we would be more aware in a way since the habit is for us to be creating things consciously. And the more we create consciously, the easier it becomes for us to create consciously as we would be aware of things as they are manifested. Don't know how feasible this is though. So maybe there is a reason why we are unconsciously creating and how even in our lucid dreams we can alter the dream but we aren't necessarily creating every aspect of it.

I think I get what you mean. How every moment has these aspects that make up the moment but they are not necessarily true since we are limited with our senses and perception. There are certainly too many variables that we are unaware of or simply don't understand working to create each of these moments. But still I think we are able to access these moments that are in the "past" or the "future" when we are truly in the now and just being. Things like precognitive dreams, premonition, instinct are moments when this is happening for example. Or when looking back at memories, we can alter our perception of that "memory" and even change how we feel towards them, and in a way creating a new moment in the present and "future".

I think another key aspect that ties in well is how we feel about things. I honestly feel that our emotions are the surest way for us to understand what is going on and for creation. I just think we are not sensitive enough, yet. Like in dreams, we can just know what things mean and the intention behind it if we are AWARE enough. It all goes back to Awareness in my mind, and being truly aware also has to do with being in the now fully.

You bring up a really good point about the current state of things. Its almost like a Godlike amnesia. I've wondered if this state we are in is the result of some kind of ancient war we've forgotten. Or maybe this amnesia was self induced for a reason that has more magnitude than we currently understand. Another possibility is that we go through cycles of high awareness and low awareness or 'awake' and 'asleep' as the eons go by and this is just another sleep cycle. Its a fun idea to toy with because you are right. Being the God we are, what's up with the resistance to manifest? Sometimes I even daydream about what kind of memories I could have forgotten from eons ago when we lived liberated in paradise, a land outside of time where a part of us may still consciously reside.

Also, yes good point on awareness. With awareness, often the word gets mentioned as if awareness is a passive thing. As if we are aware of something that already exists here and now.

Another way of viewing awareness is actively. This could be considered Creative Awareness. Where we create a thing into being by being aware of it.

I havent thought too in depth on that idea, passive vs. active awareness. It seems though that being great at active awareness is a path to instant manifestation, if it is understood experientially that is.

I think it's all a part of the "plan" you know. Like you say, self induced. Also like you say, it's all a cycle, as we can see this quite easily when everything has cycles and a duality to it. It explains why people have different levels of awareness and are at different stages of spiritual/personal growth; in order for it to work we need to have the unaware person just as much as the aware. Otherwise like we've said above, there would be no point if we already knew everything and didn't have a reset system, it's all a part of the fun. The Journey. It can be a frustrating journey at times but it sure is good since I don't believe anything really matters, and we will all reach the "end" anyways, only to start again haha. And this process goes on infinitely for all levels, just depends on how much you zoom into it. Just as quick as we take a breath and release it universes are being created and destroyed... But yeah, What is up with the resistance to manifest! We are probably too unevolved in the whole cycle, like children we don't know how to use our bodies and mind to it's optimum. But we'll get there :D

hmm interesting distinction of awareness, it seems to almost be an on and off kind of thing that once it reaches a threshold you know it and even if you forget it has already been created due to that awareness. I wonder if there is a limit to how much awareness we can have, as we are certainly limited by the body, but otherwise, in dreams we can certainly feel seemingly impossible things, or with the use of certain substances, meditation, etc. Need to experiment more with this in lucid dreams. Transcend!

Well, Creative Awareness is very cool. It is the idea that things exist because of our awareness of them. So, if we have an untrained awareness then you are habitually aware of whatever you are used to being aware of. Then your reality is born from that.

What if you could increase the amount of time you are aware of great things? Would this effect what reality you experience? Considering that reality is a field of awareness, my thoughts are that being more selective about what we are aware of will impact our reality.

The strength of awareness translates into level of realness. For example a rich and wealthy man has a strong awareness of wealth and riches and a very low awareness of poverty.

Even what we experience this very moment is the same. The only reason we believe we are experiencing this moment, is because of how convincingly strong our awareness of this moment is. We are not convinced we are flying in a blimp with the queen of england because our awareness of that idea is comparatively weak.

This is just an idea on consciousness and hopefully I am communicating it well. I have been practicing saturating my awareness with specific concepts and it does seem to work. What I see as a result is synchronicities so far where thoughts I have been thinking seem to burst foreward into experience. Very cool. Keeping tenaciously consistent should magnify the results.

Yeah seems to be that way. Synchronicity is an example of it, which I had been thinking about for some time on how to describe it's existence and your wording and explanation fits perfectly for it. Synchronicities are only possible with our awareness of it (of both the first event and the second event that connects with it).

I think this is a great idea. I've had some similar thoughts which I then tried to implement into my life by minimising activities that are not necessarily creative or productive and take that time to learn useful skills and such but eventually I lost focus and fell back to the same pattern, but I also noticed how that pattern is somewhat reduced and even then there is a pattern in itself of becoming aware of being too low in awareness of creative and productive activities (hope that made sense). Simply put, we have ups and downs in awareness but even when we have low awareness we eventually become aware of being too low in awareness. So in that sense it doesn't really matter that much as we will still be progressing.

Yeah this is very true. You can often see the opposite when a poor man keeps on complaing about being poor, thus increasing his awareness of being poor. That's why I try not to complain about anything, and be thankful and if I want it changed then I can work towards that by focusing on it. That's why life is good. It gives you everything you desire all you need to do is focus your intention on it.

I love to see the world like it's a dream and that as soon as I close a door,whatever was behind it ceases to exist until it is opened again and I can never be 100% sure that it will be the same place again. I suppose most veteran dreamers do this often. It really opens up your life to manifestation when you can feel and know that anything can happen.

Hey, I like this thread, it's a lot liky my own thoughts on the matter.
I find my mind very strange, so I do like experimenting with it. I am experimenting with Law of Attraction and many other things :)

It's getting better, although still not quite there, I am still unhappy, although it's getting better as I am getting better. For the past few days, using a new technique I was able to "reprogram" my subconsciousness effectively. I can now tell myself to remember things or to get new habits, and most of the time it works. Definitely will continue that, finally I can focus on things I am doing.

Among other things, I "programmed" thoughts like "I decide I want new X or Y" wherever I felt I need something. But I am broke so I was not expecting that I will.. well that I will be able to go the store tomorrow and buy those things :) Today I had completely random opportunity that let me earn a few pounds, just like that, with almost zero effort. Coincidence ? Trust me, I've learned over the past few months that coincidences are pretty much non-existent (when it comes to important things). It's all attracted or manifested, however you want to put it. I manifested those new things in 2 days, Lol. I will literally go and buy them tomorrow :) even though technically I could live without them, I think it's a good way to show appreciation to the universe, hehe.

Another very weird thing that has happened recently, I was wearing glasses for almost 3 years. I was. Yeah. A week ago I stopped, just like that. I felt weird at a party where I was the only one in a large crowd wearing glasses... next day I woke up, decided not to put them on. I haven't since and I never think about them. But I did have an actual eyesight problem...so what's up ? I have no idea. I just don't experience any problems from not wearing them - not just that but my eyesight is actually improving. I can read from the distance I couldn't before, and I will never wear glasses again. I'll just say I had a laser surgery when people ask, Lol. Easier to explain than manifestation of self-healing :)

But it comes with a cost. I experience something I'd call derealisation episodes where my imagination does feel more real than the world :/ this gets me very depressed because it feels like I am trapped here in the boring physical reality... I think I might be, if the soul is real then I am reincarnated here but it's not all I am, so you could say I am indeed trapped here. Good news is, I found the way to ground myself so I am actually focused on what I am doing and I'm enjoying the physical reality more, though it still feels... like I don't belong here.

I have manifested many things in my life. One thing I have manifested was an unhappy love... although I've seen it differently now I realised I manifested that whole event. I miss my friends from my country (studying abroad atm) and so I meet a guy called the same as my 2 best friends who also happens to come from my home town (40 000 citizens, what are the odds, right ?). It goes further, it's a ridiculous chain of events that leads me where I need to be :) and I love it.

Yet I am still unhappy. Guess why ? Because I have manifested this unhappiness. How fast can I fix that situation ? Pretty damn fast I think :)
Healing my eyes, attracting money and a new way to earn money (a job of a sort), becoming the confident person I always wanted to be, finally being able to focus and use my intellect (lack of focus was my curse for years). Also I don't have OCD any more, that thing crippled me for years, haha.

And yet I am still unhappy. I think it is time to change that. I give myself a week. I manifested RIDICULOUS things in the past 2 weeks. I have a hard time deciding between a bunch of new friends, getting into a professional project that will likely jumpstart my career, fixing my eyesight, (partially) repairing my financial situation, becoming so much more confident, ability to re-program my subconsciousness, huge increase in my cognition (I think it comes from greater focus) ... I'm not sure which one is the weirdest xD especially given the synchronicities that accompany it all, one random event leading to another just like that.

And yet I can still sometimes get into a gloomy and depressed mood. One more thing to manifest :) I think I'll write myself another "manifestations" list. This is what jumpstarted it all, I wrote it and every day I was simply updating the list with notes on thing that were going towards that direction. That note grew to unreal proportions, Lol.

So even though I can feel down sometimes, you DO create your own experience. At least I do, but I don't believe I am so different from everyone else.

Nice man! Glad you enjoyed the thread and that you shared some of your own experiences. I'd be very interested in hearing more about how you go about with your 'reprogramming'.

It's only natural that we lose awareness and may feel down from time to time, I can feel it when it happens to me and I'm suddenly propelled to act on it since I know that it's all a matter of choice. We can be in control if we want. And once you know this it's really easy to change the way you feel.

I think we all have time's in our lives where we feel out of place, or like we don't belong here. I think it's completely fine to at times enjoy your imagination more than waking life. Since it's all experience, just like our dreams. It's about balance you see. But again this will always be a matter of perspective and there are always 2 ways we can see things. To feel unhappy will only manifest more unhappiness, and also it's quite easy to fall into the idea that we are not there yet, and if only we can have this or that, but the truth is that we are there! Like I keep saying, It all comes down to awareness, and being in the now. Just be thankful and the universe will reflect it back. This short life of ours is only temporary anyways - Life is change.

I like your idea of the list, sounds like it can be very helpful to maintain a focus and as a basis of seeing what is actually being manifested or not.

Today I've realised I can't be emotional... when I get emotional I manifest bad things :/ I tend to experience very strong emotions often, which is good but it can lead to well, more negative emotions. I just realised I've been emotional over a certain event in my life and now I see what I have been afraid of manifest, but it's okay, I feel like I am only learning how to use it.
What is different about me, I don't know exactly, but I know I am different because I meet people who think like me (well, 2 people so far that I know of) and they describe the same stuff I am going through, nobody else get it when I try to explain. My subcounsciousness is actively listening, so to speak, and I think that is why it's all happening so suddenly and why the reactions are so strong. I think that is a double-edged sword that I couldn't handle most of my life. But it can be a blessing :)

Today I was teased with the worst kind of tease...by a person I consider my friend although I realise all he does is putting me down. If he did that a week, surely two weeks ago I think I'd break. But every day I handle my emotions better and this was an excellent test of that - all that happened was my heart started going faster, thats all. About my friend, well - I think he needs to start seeing me in a different light because it's a very toxic relation we're having. It's odd because I realise he cares about me but also he needs someone he can feel superior about... I think the worst nightmare regarding me is me becoming succesful so he can no longer boost his ego. Makes me sad because as bizarre as this relation sounds we know each other for 7 years and had A LOT of good time together. But some things do need to change between us.

Oh yeah - I have realised the technique I am using for the past few days that granted me the ability to focus (after being unable to for years) and this way to reprogram my consciousness is in fact described on these forums (should be somewhere).
It's ADA - All Day Awaraness. It's very similar to it, I've read about it years ago when I was far more into Lucid Dreaming, the technique I "developed" for myself is very similar to ADA though I was unaware of it at the time (randomly recalled it yesterday). So if anyone feels like trying I'd suggest reading about it or asking me via pm because I am always happy to help people.

Just a few minutes ago, this happened to me:

I was not exactly dozing in chair, not asleep but you know.... open eyes and feeling like I'm heavy and tired... Yet my mind was concentrated on staying awake. I observed my consciousness state... and at some point I felt some kind of change. I took a hold of that state. And I observed the feelings.
I looked on my laps, and then I had something like idea, but without thoughts. Idea like feeling and head of my wife appeared on my lap. I saw her to great detail, sleeping. The detail of hair, skin... was very high. And I moved my hand to touch her hair, to pet them- I was fascinated I didn't felt her hair. Yet hair moved away from my hand. And then as I moved my hand, it moved into her head. And I saw my hand inside her head, her head was at the same time solid like and transparent, so I saw also my legs bellow that head. I blinked my eyes, the vision didn't vanish. I felt like I could do more. I moved my hand above head to where her neck and torso should be and it appeared there. Without clothes. Again in great detail. I moved my hand above it just to touch the surface- I didn't felt it. My concentration slipped as I was about to create lower part of body and my wife vanished. I was with my hand above place, where she slept in this vision(dream?)
This was truly merged dream(or created vision) and waking state. During whole time of this experience I was sustaining different state of mind. It felt funny in my head. I feel it even now a little, but it is receding away fast. Nothing erotic was in this vision, the state of consciousness wouldn't allow such distraction. During whole experience I knew that it was not normal, and I was in full control. Sort of. I wouldn't be able, probably, to do something different, something that feeling/intuition made me to do... But at the same time I wanted to do exactly what it led me to do.

That's a really interesting experience. I gotta say that this inbetween state is a very powerful state as I've experienced a couple of times when I was a bit sleep deprived. Once I was just sitting on the bus almost dozing off when I look outside the window and see a person going to cross the street and then got hit by a car. I blinked in shock only to realise that it never happened and that there was no person or car there at the moment. It was so vivid though that you couldn't tell the difference. And also how at times when I was sleep deprived I could just shut my eyes and immediately see a completely different place and people and everything. Much like 'Tomorrow Land'

So there's definitely something in those states that may help with manifestation in waking life since the brain can't distinguish what is "real" or "imagined" and the imagination is sort of running freely. Would be interesting to know what makes those states. I know that our brain frequency changes when we dream for example.

Hey crew you may see a bit of an absence soon. Right now with 30+ subliminal dream reminders, it seems like it would be a cool project to just let these subliminals do their thing while completely distracted, engaged and having fun in day to day life. We've talked abut active vs subliminal a while back. Active just means it involves conscious work &sublimals are there in the background. After developing a lot of subliminals since May its almost been a year of active dreaming for reality. The absence wont be 100% but you will notice less posts here for a while.

The main idea behind this is dream incubation, so really its a dream technique where ironically dream things are ignored/tuned out for a while. Check out this wiki on incubation:

So yea, its ironic but the goal is that by soaking in these subliminals for a few months or more and forgetting about them, that subconsciously these ideas and concepts and dreams will grow. Then after the break when coming back to dream, a moment of genius might strike and hatch.

This'll start in April or May to make it a full year since starting with dreamwork at this level. Lol, also to give some time to break the habit of constantly checking dreamviews and other active dream techniqes. Just wanted to give an early heads up on the plans ahead

some ramblings on numbers and consciousness again:

0 = Nothingness, empty void.
1 = all inclusive unit.
∞ = everything

2,3, 4, etc.. = divisions & separation.

They are divisions within the greater all inclusive One.

And they divide infinitely within the One

And the One is created, spawned from within the void which is zero

We are all one, the separations dreamt up between ‘ourselves’ and between ‘other things’ are illusory separations of our one self. Our self being an entity born of the void. Imagination is very strong. Very powerful. Imagination is more than our daydreams and lingering thoughts. Imagination is the very essence of life, breath, reality. Imagination is the very vivid sensations and impressions of sipping a cup of coffee, of hugging a loved one, of rain falling on your shoulders. Imagination is the electric colorful power of all. So dynamic and awe inspiring is this mystery we are awake within.

There was a part of that video that talked about angles in a circle dividing infinitely to create a singularity. And then the opposite could also be done by taking polygons to create a void. Our known universe seems to be a representation of the infinitely dividing. So many ‘thought forms’ have been created in this space. From stardust, to cars, to trees, boats, planets, atoms, electrons, quantum particles, birds, etc. These seem to be the 2,3,4, etc… And they divide endlessly. On the other end of that is the void. The nothingness from which all of this dream stuff is being born endlessly.

That’s a lot of trippy thoughts right there … but what does it do to relate to our work with reality manifestation and how does it help?

The bolder our understanding, the more confidently we can steer the helm of the ship. We know how this is spawned we know it is imagination. Rather than being mindlessly spawned it can be done Lucidly. Lucidly we navigate through making it a determined focus to imagine strictly in line with what is good, righteous, pure. What is goodness? What is righteousness? What is purity? It is being in line with that part of the heart that is personally full of love and joy. That place that is in complete harmony with what we love. In that way we can manifest heaven. Paradise. It is control yes. It is. It is the kind of symbiotic control that two lovers have when dancing the salsa in step with each other. In a way it transcends control and simply becomes fate or destiny, meant to be.


Again, in this land of infinite mind and imagination where we reside, this is neither right nor wrong. These are simply thoughts that resonate in great harmony today.

Ramblings on Rapture:
On the idea of a rapture or a second coming of sorts. Could it be that things absolutely can not remain the way they are forever? Ok ok, according to all we’ve discussed nothing is impossible so things could remain the way they are forever. Still. With the growing amount of belief and power behind the idea that we are all one. That we are all God, could it be that this reality is beginning to burst at the seams? That soon there may be some immediate, explosion of realization where this matrix is ‘destroyed’ and a heaven of freedom and a new earth is birthed. Can it be that that was once how things were and something happend that has us in this state? Some form of a locked universe, lackluster in it’s abilities of imagination? Like an egg cracking as a chick is born a new (or should I say the old) way of things is coming.

I understand we are not the religious sort by any means. We are of strong faith however, and verse 12 here is very interesting. Speed up the second coming? I will tread lightly here as not to offend on religious grounds. Is it possible though that through strengthening our imagination deliberately on great things and aligning ourselves with the heaven within our hearts, the God within us, is this hastening the coming of God? I do not mean this is the classic sense found in churches today. I mean this in the sense that God is that union with the perfection we know to be real even though everything around us tells us to doubt. This God is very real. This God is us.

Woah. Dangerous territory.

And what is an ‘evil’ desire? Possibly evil is to be out of alignment with what we truly want at heart. To settle for things as we see them and desire the second-rate dream that presents itself to us today because we can not possibly align ourselves with the God within our hearts that says much much much much much much greater dreams are possible.
