Bosco- I remember you from ages ago. I'm very sorry to hear of the loss you are going through. I hope that good feelings soon find you once more.

As for your dream, it would seem that it is quite a gift. I have some very specific theories about consciousness that are, of course, impossible to prove. However, I believe that in some ways, yes- you were communicating with your brother, and in other ways, you were simply interacting with a dream, likely as a coping mechanism.

As I'm sure you well know, one will likely dream about things that are presently at the forefront of one's mind. In your case, the unfortunate untimely death of your brother. In my opinion, a simple and probable explanation of this is that it occurred in your own mind. You were dreaming. But why should that mean that the experience was not real? You know your brother, your brain knows your brother. I do not believe in "souls" in the conventional sense, nor "god" in the conventional sense, but I do believe in consciousness, and I do believe that like energy, consciousness is neither created nor destroyed, but rather transferred. Through means I obviously cannot explain, I believe that it is possible for you to communicate with your brother's consciousness, his intention. Is that what happened? Perhaps! Perhaps not! It is impossible to say, though it is more likely that you quite simply had a dream, Bosco.

It may seem contradictory, all that I'm saying, but although it was a dream, perhaps your brother's consciousness is a part of yours (I believe that all consciousness is connected) and you were experiencing that through a dream.

Bosco, the bottom line is, regardless of what anyone tells you here, if it felt real to you, then it was real. Regardless of the cause or origin of the dream, it sounds like you were able to connect with the essence of your brother, and I think that is something to cherish.

To me, yes it was a "dream" but i think he was also there in some aspect. This is the second dream i have had like this with him in it. I just wish all of this was easier and we knew what happens when we pass.
