Hi Kaddie
Interesting article. BUT .....
I had the opposite of this happen last night.
I woke from the dreamless state of sleep to go to the toilet. As I walked down the hall to the loo I practced the basic Theavada meditation technique of saying "walking, walking... and sound, sound,... touch, touch ... seeing, seeing ... as I become aware of what my senses are sensing.
The I became aware of so much sensing. I wished it would shut-up. I never felt that way before.
I then got back into bed to continue sleeping.
When I woke up next and began my day I remembered my experience from waking from a dreamless state and practicing.
It seems that the dreamless sleep state is devoid of senses.
And when the body wakes, and the bodiy's senses, intrude on the dreamless sleep state, that state don't want the intrusion.
Wow?
There is a state that don't like hearing, seeing, touching, tasting, smelling or anything produced by the noisy body.
Like
The senses only belong to the body.
They are exclusively for the survival of the body.
There is something beyond form.
And that "something" Don't like form
Or
The intrusive sesnses that come from form. (???)
