While reading the forums here, I remembered that I did shared dreaming in first and second grade.

A group of friends and I would experience the same dream every night, and in this dream we would be in a dark forest collecting gems. These gems were floating gems, and it was like being in a video game. Before we went home from school, we would all talk about what kind of dream we were going to experience together, then we would meet in the dream world. I don't have any more details, all I remember is that we would "share" dreams. Haven't done it since I was a kid, though.

I don't remember how we got the idea. I think it was more of an intuitive thing to us, and it just worked. I believe it was 3 to 5 friends (I'm leaning more on the low end, because I don't think we had a big group). I don't remember how often we did it, it might have been almost every night, or maybe we only did it for a little while. I only remember the recurring dream that we shared, and talking to them about it at school.

This is super cool. Children are so much more open to experiencing "unexplained" phenomena because they're just so unconditioned! The child-like mind is really what all of us explorers of consciousness are trying to get back to, isn't it?
