I was under the asumption that the string theory is like a string that vibrates and every direction that it vibrates in is a dimension. we exisist in certain string dimensions , which are our sences. But that is not all that exsist. I think there is like 10 or somthing. So you and your alternate or other world that might have been , if you decided to make another decision that you didn't ultimatly make , does not exsist in this demesion , with the senses that we experience. They are some where else , as in another demension which could be over lapping with this space or we could be over lapping with another time of the slightly altered version of our world, and if anyone has any perception of senses they might pick it up with one of the higher ones that we don't even know that we have.. which means that in theory you could make one end of the string touch the other with out having to travel through the middle , isn't that what Einstein or someone was talking about. it doesn't mean that you physically go there, you might already be there. Time travel
