From the other duplicate thread of the same name/author (which I removed):

If they make it, I'll let you know, I guess. I dunno if you'd accept a 3rd person account as proof, but I would at least, considering how well I know my friend.

But I can at least assure you that astral projection is real, so I don't see why a shared dream would be impossible. Just takes some extra effort.

That is not quite true... The types of Shared Dreams I have had from experience weren't at all real time...(unless you were to count ______ that I have w/a few of my friends)...but it is a lot harder than ordinary LDing, & in my opinion, is harder than having a ______.
Funny when Cody & I do it the _____ way, though, b/c he is so funny!!!

Oh well I was just guessing, that's awesome that you can do it! What kind of stuff do you do in a shared dream? Do you pick the scenery together and stuff?

I know it sounds very geeky, but I and a friend of mine would like to share a dream of the Shire, from the Lord of the Rings movies. Would that be at all possible?

      Strangers passing in the street
By chance two separate glances meet
And I am you and what I see is me.

Normally, we just go w/the flow in a LD instead of trying to control it, since that could make one of us wake up. Yes, one can make the other Lucid in this way....& yes, I did do that w/my b.friend when he was still alive.
Also, the funnest one had to be the one where Cody, Michelle, & I flew down to Disneyland in White robes....& it was really funny how the whole time Michelle & I argued about it being a Dream, while we explored the scenery.
The funny thing was that they did the same thing that night...& when I told them about what Disneyland looked like in Real Time (went 2 weeks afterwards, & it apparently looked the same), that just got Michelle & I to argue some more..
Yeah, that is possible...but it is 4x more difficult than LDing...

Well I won't be trying it just yet then, seeing as I currently suck, but that's miles beyond cool. How long did it take you to learn that?

I started to do it about at the same time that I had really strange dreams...(i.e.s**-***).... Of course, I only DSed w/my B.friend(at least until he died).... Once I learned though, that my friends Michelle & Cody had those same ones, we decided we had to meet each other in one (of course, it wasn't easy, as Cody is totally frightened by his unconscious duplicate [ supposedly a second you....I don't know why it appears]...& I had to tell him that he was only Dreaming!).
After that, though, I had a bit less farfetched Shared Dreams.....like w/my niece about 6x, Splash 1x, & 1x unintended w/my Boss (got into trouble the next day!)
Let's see...I started LDing at age 3 (WILDing), controlled them at age 4, began to have the ______ at almost 16 years old, & DSed w/my B.friend at 16....so it took about 13 years!! Then again, I knew nothing about it!

Find another natural, & try that night. Like LDing, it takes time to perfect this skill (even if you had it naturally) between the 2 of you!
Also, Gothlark has them more than I do, so you might want to ask him!!

When you said "DSers", I did a double take, and then I realized you meant "Dream Sharers." When I was in high school, I knew this to mean "Dream Scapers", explorers of the Dreamscape and its many mindscapes. It is much the same thing you describe, but I was part of an occultist network that had it down to a science -- a different world. I suffered a misfortune that kept me from exploring too far, and I have been trying to overcome it ever since, hence my original interest in lucid dreams and astral projection. If you want me to tell you what I know, then reply here, and I'll start a new thread; I don't want to hijack this one

Do as you wish....but don't worry, there is no such thing as a stupid thread unless you put it in the wrong place, or the author is the Loch NES monster!!
