how do you get to the astral?

First of all i am not arguing that the astral planes are real or not, either way i wanna know how to get there.

usualy when you have an OBE, WILD or DILD you are in a reality that is very similar to this one. yes some wierd shit happens and you controll everything with your thoughts, but it is similar to the physical.
But these astral planes or dimensions or whatever seem to be more psychedelic, they might have different or extra dimensions, colors that dont exist, alien beings e.c.t.
i havent done it, this is just from research.

so once you are in a OBE, WILD or DILD how do you get to the astral?
could you just say "astral now"?

have you read any of robert monroe or william buhlman? in my personal experience it's completely about your intentions as to where you go. as far as converting a lucid dream dream to OBE try flying straight up and out of the dream and set your intentions. i've talked about this in previous posts if you want to scan through some of them you can get more details.

I read some william buhlman but my OOBE are different.
Looking at my body or thinking about it does not make me go back in it instantaniously like him.

And contrary to him, I cannot speak while OOBEing.

From my research the difference of "dreaming" in normal dream realm and visiting the astral is a matter of matching the vibration of the astral realm, and sure like runeword said, it can probably be done with intention.
However generally speaking I assume the reason most people are not naturally visiting the astral realm is because their frequency is too low. which means you need to highten your frequency, there's a lot of different ways to do this.
The general advice to hightening frequency would be: doing what makes you happy, have a clean and light body(do a detox perhaps, eat healthy), try meditating regularly if you can enjoy that, do some energy-work, try to stimulate you're energy-centers, be in contact with nature and yourself etc etc.

How do you know that the frequency of the astral world is higher than ours?
How did someone manage to measure such a thing?
And frequency of what? Does our world has a frequency?

frost think of it in terms of visible light. there are many colors on the spectrum that we are unable to see because of their frequency. you can also think of it in terms of sound. just a quick reply though cause i'm not sure if you are really asking or if you are trying to derail the person you quoted.

Ans since I have 4 years of signal analysis behing me I find this weird because people say "a frequency" as in only one. I really don't see how you could link our world to a single frequency.

So what is this frequency, if everybody says that we need to get it higher, it means that someone really mesured it.
Otherwhise how would you know if it's higher or lower.

you're trying to measure it too scientifically. when people say higher or lower they are talking about the relative state of being at these vibrational levels. higher generally meaning closer to a "heavenly" definition and lower leaning more towards a hellish place. of course someone hasn't actually measured it and found the exact frequency. the best way we can talk about these experiences and try to describe them is completely relative. the frequency or vibrational explanation is the easiest way to explain it. maybe think of it as a tuning knob on the radio station. you don't hear that station unless you tune into the right frequency. that's the best i can do for you in terms of the earthly translation.

I think I might have figured out what this frequency really means. It is the frequency of perception, and what it does is; with every tick of this frequency it replays an event of actual time to your conscious experience. This frequency can change depending on your mood or you awareness. Like notice when you are bored time seem to pass slower than when you do something fun and exiting. Which means it replays the events in your consciousness faster or slower. When you are unconscious it completely stops and you replay no events at all.

Edit: I need to work on the explanation of this subject regarding velocity and acceleration as I got it wrong by looking only at velocity. The root of the subject comes from understanding the difference between actual time and perceptual time though.

This all works on the physical level and thus the physical plane, as things at the physical plane are bound to the speed of light limit. This frequency can tick as fast as a human can get it to tick but it doesn't tick fast enough to replay !only! events from higher planes that happen between the events in the physical planes. Events from higher planes, or dimensions if you wish happen faster than the speed of light and they also affect the events on the lower physical plane (though I don't know how). You can't perceive them regularly as they happen too fast to register and experience only them, they will always be overshadowed by the events from the physical plane that happen slower. In a way you still perceive them but you just can't tell.

The only way that you would stop perceiving the physical plane and perceive only the higher astral plane is if you would stop the perception of your physical plane but keep the frequency of perception ticking fast enough to perceive the events from the higher planes. This happens in cases where you are both dead and alive at the same time. For instance when you travel at the speed of light you completely stop registering actual time and do not perceive physical events as they do not affect you anymore, you stop aging as all your systems stop, but you are not dead just frozen in physical time. Physical perception also stops as it is also affected by time dilation. However time doesn't really stop for you as you still affect something and something affects you. This something is the particles that move faster than the speed of light that we can't normally perceive. They are the particles that higher planes or dimensions consist of. They do not affect you physically (or at least I can't tell if they do) and thus their actual time doesn't make you age. When you perceive only those particles and their events with the frequency of perception you perceive only the next higher plane.

In other words you cannot perceive higher planes with your physical body and thus your physical frequency of perception.

Other more reachable ways to achieve the state of being both dead and alive at the same time is trough sleep. However the tricky part is that you need to stay conscious to be able to keep control over your frequency of perception, in other words lucid dream. Problem is you would still just dream and replay events that will resemble the physical world trough physical senses however those will be illusions (That you can have fun with while lucid dreaming). There has to be a way to keep the state of lucid dreaming and shut the physical senses illusions so that you would perceive truly only the completely real astral plane. I'm not sure how to block the physical senses illusions that overshadow the perception of higher planes. Different sources suggest different methods most of them are pretty hard and require dedication meditation and hard work. But the bottom line is they simply stop the physical frequency of perception(that replays illusions from your memories) so that only the astral frequency will work, and thus let you experience only the real astral plane.

I know that to stop the physical frequency of perception you need to be either unconscious or dead, or move at the speed of light, or to be so bored that it will slow the perception so much to a stand still. WOW and perhaps that's exactly what meditation does. And what Castaneda described as stopping the world. I'm figuring this out even more while I write this. I can totally do a research on this or something lol.

Well, the energy in question is probably not measureable by any equipment today.. We understand too little about the human body, neurology and the connection it has to conciousness. I don't think that anything is more real because the general bright-minded collective decides to put a word on something they know some details about. It's all metaphors.

So for now, lets be metaphoric about the concept ;p

Allright so it's more a methapor for "tuning your magical stuff to allow you to see other plane of existence"
Tuning you frequency to a radio frequency is not enought :p you have to know wich kind of modulation is used (how are the data encoded) then how were the data coded.

This is a bit too unrational for me, everybody is making hypothesis on the mechanics of astral travel without being able to do any measurments or even knowing what kind of forces or energies are at play.

The reason behind that frequency is because it's you gotta hit the right pitch to eventually go above the vibration state here's a little explanation:

I often hit the vibration state but the thing is when you hit it, you start thinking about all kinds of things, you know you're in your vibration state because you can feel it in your body,
Now you gotta find the sweet spot I guess, you need to either stop focusing on a single thought or focus on another one (a specific one)
Let's say: When I'm in vibration state I'm starting to think: -OMG VIBRATION STATE! I'M ALMOST THERE! > This probably wont work and your vibrations will diminish
Now you may think like this while you're in vibration state: -Ok, I hit vibration state, -I'm not scared I can do this and you start focusing you'll feel the vibrations rising
But if you think too much: -I'm not scared I can do this; The vibrations will start diminishing again because you focus too much on it and not enough on the astral projection.

Although, people with any "subtle-energy-level" can go past the vibration stage that I think you're referring to while practicing WILD/OBE. We were referring to the general state of the "energy-bodies". Maybe it is connected somehow though, I don't know.

Are they not referring to the the different wavelengths that your brain functions on. Like delta, beta, theta and whatever the other ones are? I always figured that this was the obvious 'frequencies' that astral projecotors were talking about.
