Our atoms just separate from our bodies and become fully connected to the universe. Like was said in another thread, you have the choice to be aware of your post-mortal conscious or to be in a blank oblivion. |

So I was thinking. If it was proven atoms were NOT conscious then does this prove there really is life after death? Think about it. If our brain is made up of these same unconscious atoms then how does consciousness magically appear? Wouldn't the only logical conclusion is to say that our consciousness does not originate from the brain but exist outside of it? But if atoms were conscious then that would mean that everything else including inorganic matter to be conscious also, but that doesn't mean its self aware. But at the same time if atoms were proven to be conscious then the probability of there being a life after death goes down. |

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I didn't notice. So you asked what I think about this right? If I remember correctly scientist believe we actually remember EVERYTHING it is just a matter of recalling the information that is sometimes difficult to do. Our subconscious stores ALL information we perceive and it stores information not perceivable to the conscious mind. So if our minds remember EVERYTHING then it is just a matter of recall right? Our minds put these past life memories in a 'vault' that we can't conciousley access because it is not related to the life we are living right now but we can access this 'vault' of memories if we can get ourselves into a trance (hypnosis, meditation, etc). Then once we do then we can re-live these memories. Some think this is just the brain just conjuring up random things but that answer is just too simple. Nothing in life is THAT simple, these memories have to be more than just simply the brain making things up. |
