If you believe other wise that is your loss billions of people around the world believe in something that is not proven God, Allah, Shiva what ever your god is so don't come here making this whether exist or not that is irrelevant this was not a discussion. I believe in my own standards. I don't believe in the gods people worship, but i believe that there could be a higher power above everything that created the world and planned everything. I believe that it's possible, but there is no proof for it, just like for any other belief like this.
I don't believe in supernatural beings, even while i would like to, that would make life more interesting. I'll believe in them once i get to see them or experience something about them.

Aliens is another story, i believe that they exist, but i have no idea how they would look, how intelligent they would be, i also don't believe that they were here just because some crazy people claim it.

These beliefs are all the same in an aspect, that they are not proven. You can believe in these jinns that you thought out during a boring afternoon and you would believe in something just as possible as gods, ghosts, demons, aliens, ect... even if yours is more crazier than the usual story.

Eoghang, I'm open to the idea you've just mentioned. But before you go on posting more posts, please make an effort to paragraph your post. It is not pleasant to read 20 lines stuck together.

It will be nice if you can explain it nicely, why it happened, why you think it's true, why is it so instead of just blabbering on about how much you firmly believed in it, as though perching a belief/religion. You're not going to get any supporters by that.

I had a weak attempt at lucid dreaming. Happened once and only lasted for 5 seconds. I didn't feel I was god like. I was just aware I was in a dream and I was like, "Hey, I'm walking beside the girl I like". Imma going to hold her hands. That's all. How god-like it is? Furthermore, I would say anything is possible in a dream no matter how god-like or ridiculous it is. Simply because it's something like our imagination except it's more realistic. Tell me, is it that hard to imagine yourself flying?

I just had to pop in and say, that once you would experience lucid dreaming more seriously, you would realize that it indeed has a "god-like" feeling sometimes, 5 seconds is not enough to determine that

My point was god-like feeling can be achieved even without being lucid. As long as you're in a dream, anything is possible.

I wanted to add on something to the discussion. Peculiar, there were times when I had a feeling my real self was not located at where my body is, instead it's controlling my body from afar either with a remote or with strong telekinesis. Those were the days when I felt dislocated from my own body, probably too tired.

How do people even know about Jinn or whatever if they are smokeless fire, and uh, well, hidden as you say.

I just realised Jinn is from Muslim only. So how would it appear to be for other religions? Another name?

"Jinn" is what we get the English word "genie" from. It's an Arabic word. Apparently in Muslim religion, they are spiritual beings, similar to angels, but can be both good and evil. Evil "jinns" are supposedly the cause of evil things.

Hmm. So now we have different names for it. So what is the exact term for it?

I can presume he's actually talking about genies? But genies seemed more unbelievable to me than angels. Why don't he just say spiritual beings in the first place.

The word "jinn" made me think of genies as well. In hungarian we call genies "dzsinn" which is pronounced the same way as jinn... and probably it's similar in many languages.

Althrough i'm almost sure the thread poster is not talking about those regular genies, more like something he thought out.

Muslims would call them jinns. Christians would call the evil ones demons. Tribes, ancient indians would call them ancestor spirits Mayans would call them sky gods Buddhists would call them spirits. Disney would call them genie and other folk lore tales would call them genie as well. FYI tommo mohammed lucid dreamed and astral projected in the Qu'ran besides he didn't write it. It came from the higher power. "spirturial" is thrown around were spirtiural beings in most ways. Dogs can sense energy of other animals so can all animals. Everything is spiritual in that regard. Jinns are just on a different frequency that our eyes can't see. Oh and to answer your question it's folklore really like people making deals with them for talents singing talents or whatever. It's faith I mean christians and muslims really 100% believe in their books if the believe cause is omnisicent why would the question her ? The can shape shift so people believe all sightings about vampires ghosts aliens are all jinns trying to play tricks on us. The have indulges and like to abuse their power. Pretty much hes sayin that, not only the stuff about being aware n lucid, but "they get your body while your lucid" I'm sorry but... that just sounds like the movie "insidious", which likely roots it self to some similiar mythology that you are getting yours from.

Now I won't say that there isn't a possibility of beings wanting to manifest within a humans body, but to make a thread about em in specfic to lucids, and only to argue "just because they haven't been proven to exist doesn't mean they've been proven to not exist" is kind of lame.

Think about it this way, if they are out there, they are out there. If thats the case, then its likely more than just lucid dreams. There are methods of protection, spiritual in the religious and in the energy sense, whether you use a cross or intend to "shield" yourself in another way, there are methods.

All that being said, are you here to say everyone should just pack up shop n stop doing lucids because some person my hijack their body or influence them? Well in that case we may as well stock up on food and lock our doors, because if you go outside, someone influence you badly, or do something on a huge range of possibilities physically. If you don't know what i'm talking about, you must live in some very nice neighborhood and not have a clue how trully dirty this world can be.

Unless your proposing to be alert for such beings and do something to be prepared, can't really see what your getting at. Cause it seriously sounds like your making lucid dreams out to be more risk than gain.
