Not very often, but now and then, I know what's going to happen in certain situations. I once knew the outcome of some sports games, it just came to me and stopped me dead in my tracks. I was able to use that knowledge to win some money. I hadn't learned to trust that feeling at the time, so I didn't be that much, but it was a longshot ticket, paying out 300 dollars for every 2 I put down.

As to your Aunt--yeah, I've heard stories about that. I know people that have nightmares from their abilities...that can never get help at all. Some have to live in secrecy all the time, making excuses for various things.
I'm glad I dont' have to live like that. I know my parents won't chain me to the bed and try to kick out a demon that's not there, or kick me out or anything. I'm grateful for my family. I know things can get A LOT worse.
Mostly now it's just people getting kicked out and having to live with a friend or something. I knew one girl that tried to warn her mother about soemthing, her mother thought she set it up or something like that. I don't know exactly what happened, but it caused alot of tension until eventually her mother tossed her out and said she didn't want to see her.
She ended up living wiht a friend of mine. She finished high school and moved around alot.
Her and her mother, to my knowledge, still don't speak to each other.
When people say 'sometimes you should just keep yoru mouth shut,' she made a point of proving it. I feel sorry for her...

I acutally DO know psychics that would be VERY pissed off if someone DID prove psychic abilities. They go up to Vegas and use their abilities to win money. Some are even addicted--not to psi, but to gambling.
I spent SOOO many years of my life worried sick about my sanity. It tore me apart.
I didn't believe in this stuff either. I thought what happened to me was normal--that everybody can do it.
It was a REALLY hard reality check when I found out that it wasn't normal.
Why don't I go out and win the lottery?
I'm tried of people. I'm tired of 'Well, you're psychic! PROVE IT!' and then getting pissed off at me when I do. I'm tried of being called names, of being stared at because I forget not to say something. I'm tired of people asking questions after questions about nearly everything. I'm tired of helping people that don't even say thank you, and just come back and do it again and again and again. I'm tired of the skeptics that come as different people trying to prove my own insanity to me. I'm tried of people using me. I'm tired of being different. To me, I'm normal, it's everyone else that has the issues.
I am only 19 and I'm already tired inside. I can't tell you what my life is like. I can't tell you what it's like to be psychic. I can't tell you anything. I didn't even know I was until someone pointed it out to me. I can never truly get you to understand how hard it is.
I started out just wanting to help people. I don't even charge or anything. MOst of the time, people just like to talk to me, get my advice and stuff. I just WANT TO HELP.
I don't want the world. I don't want a television show. To me people that charge for this stuff is evil. I don't like it. It feels SOOO wrong. I don't want anything.
I just want to help. That's all. I want my own little quiet space in the world and be left alone.
I'm not a miracle worker. I'm not blessed by god. I'm not anything. I'm a girl. I'm a person. I just have an ability...like some have an ability to play football really well and another has an ability to create great art. This is mine. When you look into psi, look for people. Not Gods. We are not gods. We're never going to levitate cars. It's not fair to push that image on us. Have you ever thought about how many people you're hurting?
Sometimes, those people are alot younger than you think they'd be--alot younger than being a teenager, or even a preteen.
I like James Randi. Let him do what he is doing. It protects people like me. Skeptics protect us from the world.

Wow, I almost regret reading that post. I'm pretty sure I have the natural ability to read imprinted emotions, and they're pretty common on forums. That post of your's though, I can't really describe how horrible I felt while reading it. So much sadness... so much depression, it was almost unbearable. I guess this means I'm definitely going to have to learn to shield, even if it's just to protect myself from posts like that. At least I can understand you a bit though, you're saying that what many would consider a gift you feel is actually a curse. If you really have as much sadness in you as I felt, your life must be absolutely horrible when it comes to your abilities. I can't even begin to imagine what your life must be like, with people bothering you all the time, asking for proof if they find out about your abilities, and then telling everyone they know that you're some kind of freak so that you can't get a moment's peace with no consideration for your feelings what-so-ever.
Your post has made me think about something though; when I was five I was pretty good at aerokinesis, but I never thought much of it and had completely lost the ability by the time I was in sixth grade. But what if I had thought of it as something special, and had realized that I had to use it to keep it, what would I be like now? Would everyone around me have found out about it, and branded me as a freak years ago, back when I was incredibly susceptible to insults? That definitely would've been hard on me, and there's no telling what I'd have turned out like. Despite this possibility, however, a part of me will always miss that power, and regret my lack of attention toward it as a child. You'd most likely regret giving up your ability now as well, had you managed to do so when you were young. Oh well, I suppose I've typed enough, perhaps too much, so I'll cut it off here.

Somtimes, it's hard to be what I am, but I'm grateful that I am this way because it stops me from being horrible to others. It gives me a view on the world that it unique. While others can only imagine how a person feels or what they're thinking, I can acutally know, so I know how to help them.

It's alright, I'm going to have to learn to tolerate strong emotions like that if I want to learn to use it consciously. I can only seem to pick up sadness right now, that emotion must just be stronger than most. Hopefully someday I'll even extend my abilities to empathy and telepathy, at which point I'll need to be able to take strong surges of emotion. All the same, it's nice to know a bit about other people's psionic abilities, even if there's some particularly strong emotions mixed in.

I so identify with some of the things you guys said! Since I've been practicing meditation and doing other spiritual exercises sometimes I just can't help but to suffer for other people's pain and sensing that sometimes people aren't being honest with themselves and others. I'm going to take a psychology course so that I can help people with this without them knowing it.

Judia, do you believe in ascended masters? If so, you should ask for guidance from them, cause things get sooo much better when you have help from them, your life just changes. I'm saying this cause I notice you're kind of lost on how to deal with this stuff and on what to do with your abillities.

I guess we're turning this skeptic thread into psychic talk XD Sorry guys... Next time don't try to discredit what you don't know about. You don't have any sort of "powers" or "gifts" so of course they don't exist to you... Plus, spirituallity is something personal, you can't prove it scientifically... Sure, and reality manipulation doesn't apply only to "psychic powers". But try explaining that to common people... It would be great for everyone if it was possible...

if you dont want to believe thats your choice. but dont preach it and try to force everyone else to. i know for a fact :psi" or whatever name you want to give the intangible energy is real, ive only been practicing it a few days and i can make a ball between my hands that is noticably higher temperature than the rest of the environment i'm in. i can't explain where it comes from or how it's made but there's lots of theories for that already, do you fully comprehend how every piece of technology you use works? i'm sure you don't but that doesn't stop you from using it. if you don't believe in it why ask for proof. no one really cares if you believe it enough to bother making the effort to show you anything. if you refuse to believe it then nothing we show you will change your mind, unless you are in person shown something that you can't explain.
so leave it at that.

i cant say for sure all the things i havent tried, like telekenisis or energy attacks or telepathy, are real, but with the large amount of articles, forums, and people on those forums, there is at least some truth to it. if you told most people about lucid dremaing, they would either be very skeptical about how powerful you claim it can be, or outright call you a nutjob.

point well made, i am a telekinetic, and use my powers as a mind exercise, NOT, as an attention-getter, to impress, or otherwise. I am mainly an aerokinetic, and i have a forum on my site, but not as many people as ppsociety unfortunately...

ive had brief bursts of psychic ability, heres one i had was a few years ago....

i was in the park with a friend walking around and then i suddenly stopped and crouched down....i told my friend i could 'feel' that something was there, he didnt believe me, then i moved my hand over the grass and out of it came a piece of paper, i unfolded it and it was a £20 note...

ive also had about 3 shared dreams (that i know of) and 1 was lucid and intended....

the most recent event was when i went on a school trip with my class, we went to france to study the second world war trenches... then i remembered a dream i had where i was in the same spot, and i described to the person next to me in great detail what the next room held.....he was shocked when we went in the room/underground chambre for it to be exactly how i described it. but then he dismissed it as luck or coincidence...

ive also been able to describe a place i have never been before and have no idea about where it is.....

and recently ive been drifting off in class, this leads to images to go into my head....one was of my geography teacher sitting on the edge of a desk and someone next to her throwing a pencil over her head at someone else on the other side of the class.... she didnt notice and continued to talk about how hot it was and began fanning herself with a piece of paper... this vision came true about 2 hours after....

so far ive just been putting these things down to coincidence and deja-vu, but i have attempted other techniques, like telekinesis from psipog.net, but have not been able to do them successfully, maybe i should try exploring this ability?????

i'm a strong believer that what one human being can do, another can as well. and espeically if you seem to have an innate talent for it, like you did it without trying or conciously making an effort, then you should explore your possiblities.

There's a $1 million prize for the first person to prove telekinesis. It's been open for years, it's still open. If someone really had tk don't you think they would go claim the prize?

Anyways... I haven't heard from my mom in over 8 months, but last night I tried to call her. The phone was busy because she was trying to call me.

Randi is never going to part with his million dollars. He's been known to say that he "always has an out." Besides, I hear that he added a new rule a while ago saying that you have to be famous to even try. People are better off developing precognition and using it to win the lottery. Sean (Creater of Psipog and Alittleweird) is currently trying to win through intent manifestation. Sean also put a little article involving Randi on Psipog.

Also, I'm pretty sure the challenge is to perform any sort of paranormal phenomenon, not just telekinesis.

I signed up for it, sent videos, and tried to show him, but i was ignored, so there goes that whole "Prove it to randi." argument.

Actually Astral projection is hinted to in the Bible. The silver cord(a silverycord attatching ones physical body to ones astral body) that is so often mentioned by astral travelers is also mentioned by King Solomon in the Old Testament (ECCLESIASTES 12). Also Paul mentions an out of body experience in 2 Corinthians 12:2. He mentions where he acsended into the third heaven and met Christ and was not sure whether he was in body or out of body.Check it out. I think Astral travel and meditation was natural for the Great Sages of the past, from Abraham to Paul.

I believe in Telepathy cause my friend made me walk round in circle untill I noticed I was walking round in circles for no reason.
Lucid dreaming cause I have done it
Laws of attraction, I am a bit skeptic about but I think it could explain some precognitions.(ie, they weren't actually precognitions but the person made them happen)
pregognito becuase I have done it many many times.
Psychokinesis because I have seen this video and I was able to controll those dust particles that float in the beems of light. (To you sskeptics, didn't use my hands and I was ably to controll songle particles).
Psiballs because I have made a tiny one.(I am quite skeptic though)

That used to happen a lot for me but not so much recently. Also, for many years I would think of something during the day (mostly episodes of shows) and have them turn up a few days later. This has happened over 50 times in the past (mostly with the impsons) and since there's 700 episodes of the simpsons, i don't think it is conincidence. Though it may be the laws of attraction or pregognito. I don't know

i used to have that too quite a lot with the simpsons and other tv shows....also i have a question for those who move psi wheels : how long should you meditate before hand and has anyone actually been able to raise it off the psi wheel????

One of the things I forgot to mention about being psychic is reaction speed. Many times I have reacted to something right before it happens. Just the other day, my friend tried to scare me and before I even knew what was going on, I had picked up a text book and hit him in the face with it. I completely lost control of my body and reacted incredibly quick. The problem is, this cant be forced. I can't use it to win a running race or anything. It only seems to work when I dont expect it. Like when I am talking to someone and I say their next few words.

Don't be sad or unhappy. Be happy. Being Psychic IS a natural ability. It is not supernatural. People at school call me a freak because I can jump of 4 metre drops onto concrete and not get hurt. This is not supernatural either. I was just born with strong legs just as I was born with small Psychic abilities. I am not good at basketball but if I trained everyday, I would get good. Anyone can be psychic. BTW, John Edwards' stuff is

I believe you when you say you can see energy and empathize(is that the word?) unfortunately, I cant do those. I can control energy. I can change my body temperature, which is very usefull. and I can move pain around my body and if it is minor pain, I can get rid of it(also useful). Do not let anyone stop you from using your abilities. I am lucky to have a few friends who can relate to you and me. In fact, they were the ones that told me I was psychic. Also, if you can see energy then you should be able to control it.

Oh, and for all those people that want to flame me for saying that thing about dead people being dead, I have this to say: I do believe in some kind of afterlife but I do not believe in ghost. But remember that just because I believe this, it doesn't make it true. I could be totally wrong. Remember that there are many unexplained "ghost" sightings. So it doesn't matter what the skeptics say, they could very easily be wrong.
