If I give any details, someone could come in here and say they did it, when in reality they did not. THEY, whoever they are, know what they did. They had to have targeted me with a specific intention. Same concept here if you found a wallet stuffed with money. You don't go around describing the wallet, the amount of money and everything else. You will never get it to the right person. You simply say you found a blue wallet, well worn, at such and such a location at such and such a time, then someone comes forward, tells you how much money was in it, and you give the wallet back to them, sans your finders fee I will, with great reservation, add one detail... The incident occurred between 2:45 and 3:45 AM, evening of December 5th (last night.) Don't worry! If nobody comes in here to provide the details in the next couple of days I will lay out everything that happened. Could be that I'm wrong and it was not a forum user here, or the user may simply, for reasons of their own, wish their identity to remain unknown. - DreamBliss

OK, so I gave it a few days, now it's time to post what happened.: OBE I was dreaming a strange dream. I was in a vehicle with some lady traveling along a windy road. We stop and I warn her not to pull ahead further. I had been here before (I felt) and I knew that there was a sudden drop-off not safe for the car. She gets nervous and nearly drives over the edge I somehow stop it. I get in front and and push back or something. I watch as the vehicle (car) backs off some rocks embedded in the ground. I think the lady is grandma. BC (our stray barn cat) appears and jumps on my lap. I remember being surprised and delighted by this. There is a transition or something, then we're in the hospital and grandma is being checked. BC leaves when the doctor enters. We have stopped so we can come here. When I move a chair I pull apart an electrical charge cord which was connected to my mom's phone. I notice it has far too many wires. The doctor examines grandma. I try to get out of the way. As I squeeze behind her I feel her tense up to move forward. I tell her to stay there, I am fine. Some tough comes out of somewhere, a guy whose face I do not know. Somehow I do know he is not easily scared. I feel there is something in the room with me. I am the guy. I am lying on a bed or something on my left side and can feel something moving behind off to one side. I roll or am pushed to the floor. I feel pressure in my upper body then squeezing. My ears pop at weird, regular intravels as if I was I am falling through different zones or something. Then it stops and I sense I am floating or drifting but I can't see, it's as if the OBE was interrupted or perhaps I was projecting but blind. I did not like the pressure or the pushing. I could feel my left hand hand cupping my chin my right hand touching the elbow of my left arm, pointing down. I remember the tingling sensation. I was fully conscious and could feel everything I felt when I put my body asleep. Through this dream I had a definite sense someone or several someone's had pushed me out of my body and into the spiritual realm. I think I was being pushed down through several layers (ears popping). It could have been inadvertent, subconsciously influenced perhaps, but I don't think it was. The whole "on rails" thing was affected me again. I did not think to utter a command such as "Awareness now!" or "Now I can see!" to get my eyes open and find out where I was. If someone did this and they are in these forums please note I did not appreciate the way you want about this, but I do appreciate the help getting me out. You have my permission to do so again if you wish, all I request is that you be a little more gentle about it, and that you remember to help me remember to open my eyes and become aware. Just think to me something like "command that you see" or "command you are aware" and I will hear you. I can not guarantee I will act on it. Please be patient with me because I am having weird consciousness issues in dreams right now. Once again thank you! Although I have no proof that this really was an OBE, all the normal signs are there and to me it felt different than an LD or anything else I have recently experienced, so I am calling this, as the title implies, my first OBE. - DreamBliss

Sounds like sleep paralysis to me.. though I could be wrong. The pressure on your upper body is common for sp - ears popping/making sounds is usual - being pushed pulled about is a usual misconception of a ghost or spirit. Im not saying what your saying didnt happen, only you know, or think you know. Though nothing really supports the whole 'someone in this forum pushed me out my bed last night' thought. Nice dream none the less

I should also mention that the first thought I had, so we're talking subconscious here, was that someone here or a group of someone's were responsible. I wouldn't have jumped to that conclusion otherwise. It's supported by the fact that anyone who has read anything I posted knows I believe in Astral Projection and OBEs, and also that I am experimenting. I had a definite feeling/sense it was a person. I know what SP feels like too. I used to call that demonic attacks (Christian belief system). Being aware but unable to move. Feeling like someone is on top of you. This was a literal push from behind, causing me to roll off the bed and through the floor, hence my claim it was an OBE. I never heard of ear popping in SP but then again, I;m not an expert. This just isn't what I experience in SP, induced or otherwise. No I am certain that a person or persons is behind this, I sense/feel they are here, that it was some sort of experiment, and that no maliciousness was intended. My guess would be that it was the first time the person/group did this, or they had little personal or collective experience, and were unsure what would happen. I think its pretty cool that someone, or a group of someone's, decided to try this with me. I've always been a sort of "last person to be called" sort of person, so its nice to be chosen and included. I am also certain this is a new unique experience for me, that it was an OBE. I felt myself pass through the floor and go down, and it wasn't like falling either (experienced this as a child) - the feeling was different somehow - none of that "oh @#$% I'm falling" in your gut, stomach in your throat, sort of feeling. Just a calm sense that yes, I passed through the floor and am going down. There was a little sense of falling initially as I was rolled/pushed off the bed, but that stopped as I passed through the floor. I felt pressure around my chest, as if something had surrounded me and was squeezing me. Nothing like pressure on your chest from the feeling something is sitting on you. Very much like the experimenter(s) were holding me from behind. Kinda like what would happen if you went parachuting and your chute failed. Your instructor or partner (I assume) would come up behind you and latch on to guide you down and stop you with their chute. I had a sense that someone or a group of someones was behind me as I passed through the floor. Well my PM box is open, and I am a ready and willing guinea pig for any more experiments! People from our forum are respectful, and don't go around invading other people's dreams and forcing them in or out of their bodies...even if it were possible....which it probably isn't.

As I said there was no malicious in intent, nothing disrespectful. Someone got a feel for who I am and what I'm trying to do, and decided to give me a little push. In a way what they did was respectful, as it took into consideration something I wanted to do and certainly was not objectionable to receiving help with. It is possible to leave your body, and to pull others out of their own bodies. If you read Monroe and Taylor as well as a host of other such authors you will see this clearly. I find it less likely that they are all lying and more likely that what they are all saying is true. However I certainly respect your beliefs, and only reserve only the right to challenge them (respectfully of course) as I am someone who is continually trying to pry open people's mind's. @tommo I'm unsure if you are teasing me, being sarcastic, or being serious. I've had 2 experiences where it felt like I was being assisted out of my body into to the astral plane. The first experience was completely unintentional I woke from what I thought to be normal sleep and saw the sliding door that leads out on to patio no curtains no window glowing in a bright orange color. Fully conscious I thought wow that's weird! Then I was pulled towards my glowing patio door out into my neighborhood. I was now consciously flying over my neighborhood at what felt like 100mph. I asked my guide to reveal themselves, a comic thought bubble popped up with a greeting message we had some dialogue like this for a few moments. I was then pulled upward toward our atmosphere which I resisted because I'm not too big on heights, I then had dual perception I could see my self struggling in mid air fighting my acenscions from about 200 feet away. That's when I woke up in my bed. Another time I wanted to roll out my body but was having trouble in the vibrational stage something pushed me out on to my bed room floor. Your benchmark for truth is that more than two people had the same fantasy? Sorry -- I know I promised not to darken your door again, but I couldn't turn my back from this one. I ask but two things of you: first, don't believe something is true until you've had a chance to prove it to yourself, and 2nd, ask yourself why anyone here would a) know to disturb your sleep, b) bother to do it if they could, and c) why anyone with that sort of power would even own a computer, much less browse this forum. Also, you really haven't said anything yet, I think, that would make you a threat (or a promise) to a dream adept capable of pulling you onto an astral plane. Ah Sageous! Your words are like a large bucket of icy water being dumped on my head! No need for apologies, you have made some very valid statements and I appreciate your candor! I choose to see you as the Yang to my Yin, or perhaps as the Yin to my Yang - whatever seems most applicable. I will argue a few points with you, not with any intent to harm or offend. Just a genteel sort of arguing on the points I disagree with. Do you know where you will find books by Robert Monroe (a successful businessman/CEO), Albert Taylor (a former NASA engineer), Bruce Moen (an engineer) and Dianne Morissey (a Christian who was electrocuted and who died then came back)? In the non-fiction section. Implying of course that they are not fiction. Of course there is no way to prove what these people have written are not lies, but considering who these people are (and in Monroe's case were), their different walks of life, different family situations, different time periods of writing, and access to different or no materials by other authors, when you consider they all share similar experiences then, in the words of Doyle, "How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?" Now to cover the alphabet: I remain open to all possibilities. My intention, my goal, is to shape my belief system around THE TRUTH. Not my perceived truth, not the perceived truth from others. Nothing I find in any book or religious tome. Nothing anyone here, in a church, an ashram, or a Buddhist temple may tell me. Only what I know to be THE TRUTH. By this I mean are there really astral planes, as I now believe, or is it just Heaven and Hell, as I used to believe? Is there anything outside of physical reality, as I believe? All my beliefs are fluid right now, as fluid as I am. I am water. I flow. I am trying to flow in my Life's Purpose, knowing who I am and realizing my dreams (one of my daily statements.) I could detail a list of reflections I have when I think about this but the point is I am willing to be proven wrong and change what I currently believe. Once I find THE TRUTH I may even be able to free myself from the chains of all religion. So please do not worry that I will go wily-nilly believing in everything people say. I constantly weigh people's statements. I constantly seek THE TRUTH. I keep only that which seems right to me at the time, the things based on my research and experiences which seems to be correct. But I will release those same beliefs quickly in the instant they are disproven. I have given myself a hard, almost impossible quest here. But this is the path I have chosen. a. Simple powers of observation. I have made it quite clear, in my postings and in the sections I frequent exactly what I am trying to accomplish. It doesn't take a psychic to figure out that, "Hey! This guy wouldn't mind it if I tried to get him out of his body!" b. For sheer fun of course, or scientific discovery. If someone is having fun, experimenting, or doing both, trying to get another person out of their body would be a challenge, not a bother. I'm certainly going to do it to a few people here, when I have the ability to do so. You're second on my list c. Well let's see, how could I handle this? I know! Go to Facebook. Look up Yogi, Sufi, Swami, Monks, etc. Obviously to be on Facebook these people, the ones who are truly behind their accounts of course, either own a computer or have access to one. Robert Moss, a writer, has a computer. Robert Monroe started Hemi-Sync, which is online. ShadowWalker is a forum user here who is also active at YouTube (I get the sense he certainly has the power to do this.) Browse YouTube. You'll probably find a few people there who will offer to take you out of your body. Of course I don't have the power yet, but I will, and I have a computer. As I said in b you will know when I am able to get out of my body, because I'm taking you with me (after I help Etheric83.) I can't say of course that they would browse this forum, but I do not think it was a random forum browser anyway. As I said I felt/sensed it was someone here. Why would I have to be gifted or a threat for someone to pay attention to me? You know the best gift you could give to any teacher? Willingness to experience, to learn. You know what's the bets thing you could bring with you? An open mind. Some teachers in this area may also want to look at auras to determine the quality of person who wants to be their student. I may or may not fail that test, but I am open-minded as well as ready and willing to learn. My mind is wide open. There is room for the entire whole of creation in there. As I said before this was a first-time unique experience for me. I did not initiate it, incubate it, or do anything to cause it to happen. You should be aware of this. Other than my statements I make three times every morning, among them, "I want to Astral Project" I have done nothing to instigate this and gone to sleep with no expectations whatsoever. It is very possible that my feel/sense is wrong. But for now I am leaving that possibility open, but going with my feelings. To my mind they are the best indicators of truth. Oh and animals, including rabbits, can talk. Not in waking/physical reality of course, but only in projected and dream states of consciousness. How many people here have talking animal guides/protectors? My guide, a fox I think is named Ayhunna, does not speak to me in words. But I somehow know what he is telling me. How many people here have talked to the large, rabid dog chasing them in their dreams to find out what it represents? How many have talked to inanimate objects and received a response? One account I read in one of my books told of a guy who projected and noticed his cat watching him. The cat said, "Hello!" surprising the guy and causing him to return to his physical body. So not only to rabbits talk, but so do trees, flowers, houses, and the earth itself. All of creation speaks, but we only hear it in our dreams or in a projected state. Sageous you seriously need to relax then release the idea that what society calls normal waking reality, a reality dominated by everyone's physical senses, is the only "true" reality. It is very likely there is so much more to reality than what we can perceive through our physical senses. I believe dreams give us a taste, a tiny glimpse, into that truth.

That day has not yet arrived I would never snatch someone's soul, implying that I'm going to run off with it somewhere, and this is not an ability, implying few can do it. As far as I know and have read if you can project you can help others get out of their bodies. It's just one of many things anyone can do in what Monroe calls the, "Second Body." Nor is it magical to find someone among billions of people. I don't need to know your real name, see your real face, or even know the geographical location of your physical body. My, for lack of a better phrase, "Higher Self" or "Soul" - the larger mind you access when you are in your "Second Body" already knows where you are. All I have to do is think about your user name here and in moments I will be in the room with you. Easy as pie, no magical ability. Now it helps, by all accounts, to have other details and even better to have a strong feeling or connection. It may take me a few attempts to get to you, and of course I would need to verify who you are, so some work is needed here. But the point is that thought manifests instantaneously, by all accounts, in the astral planes or spiritual realm as I refer to it. I have no assumptions about the type of person you are whatsoever. As I said earlier I have invested no time in dwelling on this. Not a second. I have no expectations. I want to see you as you truly are, not as you perceive you are and not how anyone else perceives you. When I come for you I will be open to the truth of whoever I find. That said I am now making one assumption, and apologize in advance if it is wrong. But it seems to me you don;t believe in OBEs and Astral Projection, or at least not as I do. to you too! I am thinking about starting a journal here. Not a DJ, as I, for various reasons I've mentioned elsewhere, do not agree that a DJ should be shared publicly. That's just my opinion and I am not at odds with anyone who shares their DJ here. Call it my own personal beliefs and ethics, which I would never impose on anyone else. Share perhaps, but never force. But I digress... If the format allows I will share a journal of my Out of Body experiments. The idea here is to provide material more experienced travelers can critique, and curious people can follow. I will detail any methods or techniques I use, answer any questions, and gladly accept any advice. I could truly use a mentor, or several mentors in this area, should anyone here be interested. Anyhow I will look into that. I experimented a little today and that with my earlier experiences should at least prove interesting reading. DreamBliss P.S. Hey. i haven't quite read the whole thread. But i've heared of similar accounts of people being grabbed out of their bed and taken to places. In one account, it turned out the entity that grabbed him was his higher/future self.

One of my possible future selves could quite conceivably have a vested interest in helping me get out of my body, especially considering that this is also my current-self goal.
