Who wants a nightmare?

This is for all the people who send me PM's saying, "OMG make me lucid!"

At first, Raven and I tried it. It never worked. Never. The person would just insist that it wasn't a dream, and say they were thirsty.

So, we gave up.

I found I could become lucid by seeing Man of Shred, for example, because I have only seen him in dreams. But, if he asked me if I know I am dreaming, I would usually say, "no."

Anyway... I have this thing, where if a dream goal is presented to me, I automatically attempt it, as if I can't help myself.

So, to all you people who have said, "OMG! Make me lucid!" I actually tried. I couldn't help myself. But, see it doesn't work.

Anyway, that's what I used to think.

I secretly had this goal that I never told anyone, not even my closest friends. This is it: My goal is to invade the dreams of random people on my island, making them lucid with the hope of one of these random people telling me about it eventually.

Last week, I went to Fire Jam, this big weekly party where people do fire dancing, there's a live DJ, who I've been playing the didjeridoo with. It's pretty fucking magical.

That night I am introduced to someone who I saw briefly at a party two weeks prior, Lopaka. I tell him I am OneiroMonster. It means, Dream Monster.

He told me he had a lucid dream for the first time the night before.

Really? I said. Tell me more!

"I saw this big fucking thing... My friends and I were walking down the street in my dream... and then, HOLY SHIT. There was this big fucker, like a giant shadow."

"Let me ask you a question," I inquired. "Did this shadow creature, look like a big ass jaguar?"

"Yes!"

"Like some kind of crazed demon catgod beast with red eyes?"

"Yes!"

"And did he say something like, "You're dreaming MUTHAFUKKA! HAHAHAHA!"

"Holy shit. Yes."

"And what did you do?"

"I went flying!"

Of course, I recalled the dream the instant he started talking about it, so I easily finished it for him. I did it. I achieved the impossible. I blew my own mind. I remembered the dream, hiding behind a building, chuckling to myself, and appearing like that before the three young men, and then that fucker went flying, and I laughed my ass off. It was amazing.

So, I did the only thing I could do at that moment. I screamed, "I DID IT! I DID IT! I FINALLY DID IT!" after which I proceeded to laugh maniacally for 54 seconds.

So, I realized I can do it. And I have been doing it, secretly. It just doesn't usually work. Here's the catch: most people don't become lucid much less remember their dreams. This is why I become a nightmare creature.

This will definitely help, I tend to only remember traumatic dreams. XD

The only things I can think of is ghosts and ghouls, and things like the second picture. I'm sure there's something else, but I can't remember it >.<
And I'm afraid of the dark. I haven't ever told anyone that...

Did you really though? Like you said, you can tell someone they're dreaming until they are blue in the face, and it won't do any good. A person has to be ready to become lucid, and they can only ready themselves, it's not something someone else can do. The guy said he had his first lucid, so it implies he was trying to have them and is planning to have more. Do you really think it was you that made him lucid or his own personal preparations? I'll admit you may have helped tip the balance in his favor, but I wouldn't take complete credit.

I think it was both. He wanted to be lucid, correct. He was trying to become lucid, I think. I am pretty sure if people are actively trying to become lucid, then it works much better. Thanks for the input.

coffins. i always have wierd dreams of coffins. they do not scare me but put me in a bad mood. I always know who is in the coffin but never opeded it to see. this is a goar for me in a LD to open it and ask why do I dream it...it's also my real life fear. i do not fear anymals, hazards... only coffins...

I actually had chills searching for this image...(sorry i don't managed to put the image here... maybe it is better...)

Yes! This is why I am trying to tell you people this is probably impossible. Yet, you clamor for lucidity. If nightmares you desire, nightmares you shall have.

I did not write the dream down. What I do I something I call dream running. I line up portals, as many as I can, I run through them as fast as I can as a purple jaguar, or more recently, a great demon cat beast god.

Heh, I´m scared of pretty much everything. I´m a coward, you see. But, for some reason, my parents (And, well, EVERYTHING in my house.) scares me the most in dreams. And I haven´t even been in our basement yet. That place must be hell itself, considering the stuff I find inside the rest of the house.

Mee ! me ! i want nightmares! for real. I'm mostly afraid of my dad and potential girlfriends. But then, i haven't seen many demonic cat gods lately so maybe that'll scare me . And even tho it's not probable it's definetly worth trying. I know what i'd be doing if i was lucid more frequently. But now it's holiday season i'm looking forward to some awesome shit happening.

Ohhh i just remembered a few months ago my goal was to get lucid and share dreams with this girl . Even tho i had practically no recall during that time and that other girl is not trying to get lucid. i just told her bout the possibility of dreamsharing and she described a dream where i hooked up with her and told her she can do everything and we floated around all happy and stuff.

OH YEA! i forgot to mention that the 4th picture scares the FUCK outta me, just thought I SHOULD MENTION that you should scare me with the almost naked girls with big asses instead! YES THATS A GOOD IDEA, I WILL BE SCARED OF THOSE!!!!!

Go in the basement, turn off the light, shut the door, lie on the floor in the darkness and close your eyes.

but yeah, shadows and stuff are creepy

That may induce a nightmare, but even when I´m lucid, if I´m in my house it always ends up the same way: I wake up before I can do anything. Though I quess I could give it a try. I wonder what´s so scary about my house...

Edit: Is that...a bunny on the lower right corner of that picture of the grim reaper? Huh...

Also: I suddenly remembered that this guy creeps the hell out of me.

And, well, every single corner of this place.

So better get beating that water temple so I get there some day, eh? (Free nightmare to those who know what I`m talking about.)
