Thread: International Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Project

We tried the Empire state building but being in the city we thought it would be too much to concentrate or visualize the detail of the city.

Just a theory, but it may be possible that it would be easier to shared dream at a location everyone is familiar with- that may be why the moon is so successful everyone has seen the moon!
I dont know about everyone else, but I have never heard of the temple before this thread, and it might be easier to visualise a place we have seen more of than a photo

Possibly, this is more of Atras' baby though so run it by him.

well now I'm trying to 'bring' my dreamwalking target into my dream using imaginary rope through the boundary of dreams. that could be safe.
and same here! I tried to enter my friend's dream, but all I've seen was this blurry and cloudy gray/ white scene.

idk nothing too but in my opinion, I think unusual location might be easy to recognize to share dreams, like when you see the temple you say "shit! the chicken something temple! I must be dreaming!" something like that? XD if the location was a usual ordinary place, you'd shift into non LD quickly.. my opinion.

But the moon is pretty unusual too, for me at least
I guess if you just keep aware you'd notice that either place is somewhere extraordinary

I agree. Unusual places are more likely to keep you lucid, plus it's not that hard since all the pictures of it look the same and there's not too many details. The problem with the eifil tower is there's too many details to remember. It would make it harder.

We don't wanna go somewhere Different every time until were experienced. We need to practice at the same place to be consistent. For now the location is the chichen-itza pyramid, you can find a picture of it in the shared dreaming journal.

I know that the first meeting is already over but I really want to join
I already had a shared dream with a friend so I think this will surely work!

Welcome! I am sure Atras will update the journal with your info. There you can see who else shares your TZ and their descriptions as well.

Its official, we will have a Naruto themed ninja fight in the future when we are all a little more experienced.

Btw: You cant be a Naruto character, thats cheating, use some creativity and make your own! We will pick a battlearea later

i want to choose the battle place and can anyone tell me if in a shared dream if someone can devote himself (me) to make a dimension where he makes it stable and real as real (in my first remembered lucid i was so sceptic saying whao this is so false i saw an image of a man i said look at him his doesnt look real at all)

Lol yes once we get more experienced we will have shared dreaming duels xD I know MrIrony already does it but I shall be using a keyblade xD

can you please rephrase the questions. I have no idea what you just asked.

can someone make a dimension and instead of being a character he is the environnement itself therefore he can make it "realler" "persistance of illusion"

oh like an architecturist in Inception? btw I agree to Atras, we have to experience more shared dreaming

never saw inception but maybe like that

I like that idea. There could be one or two people in the "command room" working on keeping the environment stable. XD

Might be possible, but first we gotta have a successful shared dream haha. Ideas for the future are good but we need to remember we still have to successfully share dreams before we can focus on that.

I'm quite confident it's actually possible, but Atras is right. We actually need to share dreams first XD
