Thread: International Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Project

I've read all the Dream Journals and you guys have had a good success rate on getting to chitzen itza. Another thing I noticed you guys were syncing up about was being on a buss. Sounds a lot like the moon buss. I would love to join you guys but I have some dream goals I need to get done first. I just donated 1000 of my points to Atras for the new forum.

Even though I'm not involved in this project, I donated all my points to it because it seems like a good cause. What else would I do with them, make my username all blurry so nobody can read it?

Atras, the donation link has disappeared a page back. You ought to keep posting it so it shows up every few posts or at least once on every page. Also maybe let us know how close you're getting to the goal.

IOSDP Proposal: gestures for easier recognition of shared dreams

for the next episode of this experiment -this coming weekend- I'd like to propose to share some form of a common "dream-language", a language by means of projection of (hand?)gestures and/or shared codewords/numbers. That way it will probably be easier to recognise eventual common experiences in DJ's, which we all hope will happen.

Emphasis or focus on some form of a virtual "handshake" should be easier to confirm if we manage to entangle our dreams.

I thought of this because I'm also curious about the possibility of "shared quantum dreaming" in groups i.e. sharing of dreams across different timezones/different times.

Please let me know what you think of this, all suggestions are welcome.

I like the idea, we would just need to think of something that is easy to remember to do, and easy to recognize.

Okay everyone, thank you to EVERYONE who donated! I have to wait for them to be processed to be sure, but I believe we have enough to now purchase a forum for the IOSDP! I am very grateful to everyone who donated! When we get the new forum, I think I'll make a sticky for a list of everyone who donated, just to honor you guys. You guys are awesome! Thanks! I agree, the handgestures shown look fine to me, but a simple wave will do also. For dreamgangmembers there's the incredible difficult version as shown on the video which takes about 20 seconds :-)

Seriously, I was thinking about projecting numbers (i'd project 11 or 23) or carry a number with me. Anyway, something easy to remember

I sort of like the idea of carying around something to show you are part of the group. Like a token or card or something.

I'll be lurking until I finish some buisness with my dream guide. I still might show up. Chitzen itza is pretty cool, I've been there IRL once.

I think an id of a sort wouldn't be too helpful. There's nothing stopping DCs from having them. My plan is to just tell someone I think is a dreamer a unique motto of mine. If they say that here, it proves I shared a dream with them, whether I remember or not. Yet the issue is I can't share the motto beforehand as that could sway people's dreams... At least, that is my view on a group greeting.

I'd say the best thing is to be memorable and unique in the dream, either through words or deeds. It seems the most foolproof way.

EDIT: And welcome aboard beast! ... We really are growing fast, aren't we? Damn...
