International Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Project

I have some ideas... idk if this is okay or not; I think making a distinct environment of pyramid (weather, background, trees, moon shape, etc) might help. just a photo of pyramid is elusive. (I like to draw, so I can) make a sketch of pyramid background and post it on atras2 blog. or we can discuss the composition of environment. like architecture in Inception, we are creating the same dream environment for everyone.

another idea is GPS. we create an ADDRESS of pyramid. my friend told me about this one shared dreaming experience; there were two guys, one in the US and the other in Italy, they made same address of dream scape they want to share, just like simple home address. so they met in dream at once. like the number 12 thingy, its sort of telepathy or something.. so after we have the address, each of us imagine a GPS in our head with that address typed in before bed. so the GPS will tell us where the pyramid is.

the other thing is uniform (outfit). we wear this same uniform in dream to meet, to simply unite us.

so any comment?

Most of this sounds good, i don't think the uniform would work quite as well though, with everyone's' varied astral or dream "bodies" it might be hard for some to think not only about a location, beacon, number, and dream share, but to alter their appearance to something they are not used to might be difficult, and for some, their astral bodies is what makes them lucid or provides them with power to control their dreams. IMO

I agree with hprib012, everything else is great except the uniform thingy.

Maybe we should just keep things simple...I mean we have a location, a sign, a number, we really shouldn't need anything else. And if we want to make this the basis for many share dreaming experiments in the future, like all good experiments, we need to keep the variables to a minimum. That way when we do this again, with the same or other people, we won't have to remember to do all of the little things that we put in here even this far into the experiment in order to get results.

I get what you mean. yes, I wanna keep them in simple,.but not elusive, like the photo. the dream environment around the temple has to be the same picture that everyone thinks. (like I said the backround, sky, tree or something) we dont have to remember every little things, it has to be just the same image for everyone to conceive. I think its worth a try.

Yes, we should devise some way of keeping the surroundings the same for most if not all the dreamers. That would cut down the possibility of missing the location, so yeah a drawing by yourself and sent to us all would work I think.

okay. and the GPS thing, I think that should be just number 12 (its already same as the address-.-) I'll wait for Atras's opinion.

My grandparents come in the yard. I hear my grandmother say:
"He has drugs on him..."
I get out at them.
" I heard a policeman say you were at the river and were involved in a big fight and smoked drugs :O:O:O" says my grandmother
"How can I fight if there was no fight??? the policeman is wrong." they believe me and we start laughing.

I am at my countryside, at the river havin a sunbath with lots of people.
Jimmy a friend of mine comes to me and invites me to smoke some stupid legal shit. he is very high(RED EYEZZZ..). He is telling me he fount a way to get even higher.)
I go with him and meet his friends. I take the plastic bottle (a bong like thing I smoke from in RL) and inhale the guys press the bottle so I take much more. I am now very high.

2. My friend H and I are in my old room, but this seems to be my dorm room. We are trying to get high as some girl in the room next door watches. He finds some sort of sticky substance used in the making of cigars. I feel as if the girl is either interested or judging us.

This is interesting. On this night I had a dream about a police man and another long dream about being high with a friend. I didn't post them because they were somewhat personal, and I thought irrelevant...

Last night I had several dreams, but one that stood out involved a bird like man who wielded a bow. He discussed the importance of shared dreaming.
His feathers were brown but he talked as if he were part eagle. He was too sweaty to fire the bow properly.

Nothing to do with the pyramid, but these synchronicities that Nomad has found are intriguing

I think we should focus on finding places or things that were the same in all our dreams and not only those dreams that we think weren't necessary to post (I blame myself, too :(). As we can see, all details can be important.

I agree. Too bad I don't have the greatest recall, who knows what I've been doing at night and can't remember it.

I'm having a hard time keeping up with this thread because it's moving so fast, I'm on dialup and on a pc that was slow when it was new in 2001:lol:

I had a UFO dream on the morning of 07/04, to add to the synchronicity list, I'm pretty sure I posted it in my DJ so the date is verified:

Woke up at 4:30, had forgotten to turn my normal morning alarm off, slowly back to sleep.

I decided to go ahead and sleep on my back and take a chance on SP.
At some point after that, I feel myself paralyzed and I roll with it, managing to take a deep breath and consciously transforming the feeling of fear to excitement as best I could. Then I begin rising up and up to the top of my room (looking back I might call it an OBE). I am feeling pulled by a force, still feeling paralyzed, I do my best to relax into it and not fight it or freak out too much. I am pulled or float to one side of the room, and bump the wall, I can still feel the feeling of the sheetrock brushing my skin.

I floated from there, across the room, bumping the ceiling fan, and bumping into the opposite wall.
I see a small round alien ship outside my bedroom window, and I realize it's playing the Close Encounters music. The ship looked like a miniature version of the Close Encounters ship, with the beautiful lights which are shining in through my blinds. (Even though I knew I was dreaming, the feeling of my body rising and hitting the wall and ceiling fan was so real, plus the music from the ship, I wondered whether my neighbors could hear...)
I finally start to have a little bit of a grip on the dream, and I hid in the bathroom. I didn't want the aliens to get me!

Ok ok I'm a little more coherent now and decide to go out to the ship, I'm dreaming, what's the harm? I step out of my bathroom and next thing I know I am on the ship, seemingly alone. I walk into a room and in the center of the room is a bench that looks to me made of pewter or silver, with filigree scrollwork. I wonder if that is where 'they' do their research, if they are going to try to do the anal probe (lol) there or what...

Oh, I catch a little more snap. This Isn't Real. So I began digging into a wall, and the wall gives way. I continue to dig through layers and layers of what looks like brain tissue, until I get to a pocket where there is a large green grub nestled. I pulled it out and tried to squish it. It tried to attach itself to me so I ran a few frequencies through it to try to fry it or change it. Finally I asked, "how could this thing be dead?" waiting to see what happened. I think it then changed into a black circle that tried to go back into the tissue and I chased it down firing frequencies at it until I think it fell out and off into space (I hope!).

I'm in the fight too >:D

Dude, if we have like a battle atop the pyramid with a bunch of us that would be swweeeeeeeet. Oh and I am so in for the battle prepare for some DBZ fia powa and a tornado or two...:evil: I am actually interested to see how a fight would go between 2 lucid dreamers. I mean I've had countless battles but nothing against another person who is aware and could match my power.

It may sound weird, but that's what it felt like to me.
Of course it may just be for me that lucidity it reading room 59, but I just wanted to check that it didn't mean anything to anyone else. I spent like an hour on google this morning and couldn't find any connection with dreaming.

PS. btw I was just listening to my recording from last night, and it's reading room five nine, rather than fifty nine.

Haha shared dream fighting would be definetly a strange experience...
I mean when I fight normal Dc's I can predict their movements (it's all in my head after all) but when you fight a real person with for example hand to hand combat it might get interesting (and you would probably get beaten up like hell haha) :)
I'll join the fight but I will restrict myself to hand to hand combat........... and maybe some spirit bombs :D

Btw I wondered (and actually tried to learn) if you can actually make somebody wake up in a shared dream. My first goal for shared dreaming was to develop a secret technique (I'll name it if it's finished) in which I try to overload the chakra points of the opponent for total destruction. I guess if he get's too many emotions (because of the overload) he would wake up, right? Of course I won't use it in fun battles because nobody likes to wake up from a ld :P
I'm going to bed now and I'll set a few alarms so I can write down my dreams every time before I forget them.
