Alright the last time I wanted to try this I figured out my dream recall wasn't good enough but now I have gotten up to at least 1 dream a night and sometimes 2 so does anyone wanna try sharing a dream? I live in the eastern time zone.
Please no comments against this idea suggesting that it wont work I'm already discouraged to as if it will work lol

I would think we would need a place that everyone knows where it is and what it looks like so that its not too hard to get to
What time do you go to bed and what is that relative to GMT?
Obviously through lack of communication, it didn't get done. We should set a time schedule, and where our intent is focused, (for example, a nice park, or a river, or a bustling city) simply an area where we all focus our attention, and therefore meet. The time schedule should suit all of the dreamers, disregarding the time shifts.
im up for any time before 1 am eastern time
I say we pick empire state building at midnight EST tuesday night...so we can all set an alarm or focus our intent and what not.
Here is a description of my physical self (although who knows what my astral self looks like) in case you are searching for me, I am female, about 5'4",long red hair, brown/copper eyes, most likely in just jeans and a t shirt and I may have some sort of weapon on me, I tend to like the katanas :). I go by my first name, Hannah, normally. Also I wanted to suggest we meet at the top of the tower if we all can either fly or teleport, or if you guys have a better suggestion on location feel free to put it out there. And if you guys want to have it another night go ahead Tuesday just works better for me.
Umm midnight is a really bad time for me cuz im pst :p How about a little later in the night :P
And how do you guys ld at midnight anyways? do you WILD? Cause DILD's and MILD's almost always occurr later in the morning.

I just threw out the time of midnight because someone suggested before 1 am EST. Well, myself at least I will try to get my ass over to the empire state building all throughout tuesday night. And normally I do DILD but I have gotten quicker at becoming lucid so I'll either try to do a success full WILD or just haul ass to NY when I become lucid.

Cool I'll look for you....maybe one of us should put out some sort of beacon to draw people to them...I mean we could all be in NY at the same time but no way to cross over to one another's dreams or share an astral space. I think if we had some sort of bright sign we could focus on crossing over.

This looks like a good one. Also might I suggest to all of us to study not only the beacon, but the empire state building itself and its surrounding areas with great details....we want to be able to without a doubt be at the target spot without any variation.
And lets keep trying this particular spot several times if (most likely) the first time is unsuccessful.

This is all good stuff. I've been watching youtube videos of tourists who go up to the top. I would recommend studying the night time photos and videos in particular because that is what we would be expecting to see.

Totally woke up from a vivid dream right at this time if not like a few minutes after. In this particular dream I didn't make it to NY but I believe my increased vividness was due to my meditation and mantra for lucid dreaming before I went to bed.

well if you guys want to try again tonight I'm up for it, but I will be taking some drastic experimental measures to stay asleep and stay lucid. Please no ridicule but i will be experimenting with a fairly strong chemical that almost knocks the user out instantly and has shown great promise for use as a dream aid so if i do make it then I will definately not lose lucidity.

Heres a tip if you all think you have failed the dream share just all think about one thing like the word "empire state building" if i was a pro lucid dreamer i wuld have participated but i only had 2 random lucid dreams

I know what you mean, the weed knocks me out and like you said, reduces my frequency of LD's. The mugwort actually helped a little but really only with recall and vividness, I didn't become any more lucid nor got to lucidity faster because of it. As for the acid, i did that purely for fun.Quote:

Oh and one thing i left out of my description is that most of the time in a dream there is a Tiger with me, I have no idea why but it seems that there is almost always one there, as if he is sort of protecting me or something. Well my buddy, the chemist, and some of his friends have found that since it does release some of the chemicals that are released when you die that it can help with OBE's and Dreaming. Don't call me dumb, call my buddy that, plus can you blame me when im getting paid to test it?

No luck on my end last night, I was plagued by other concerns throughout the day and so of course that's what i had a dream about, and I didn't become lucid. :doh:

We are trying our best here with various techniques, meditations, and methods. We are trying to achieve something that is highly rare and requires great will and dedication, not something to be achieved in just a few days time (though we are trying hard to do so), which is when this thread was originally started. Also, I was thinking we should maybe change the location. I think the empire state building may be a little to complicated cause its in the middle of a huge city, its impossible to remember exactly what the city surrounding it looks like, and its hard to remember exactly what the top looks lke since theres different areas on the top and all the pictures look different. I think for beginning shared dreamers, it would be easier to choose a simpler location, where we can just look at one picture and know exactly what it looks like. That way we can focus more on the beacon and stuff than the location.
Yeah, me and Noncomformist were discussing such things as well. He suggested maybe a bridge or lake of some sort. I want to offer up the Mackinaw Bridge in Michigan but that maybe because I am partial to it being in my home state. ;)Quote:

Dude! This is effing amazing what you people have been piecing together! If we're this close ALREADY, than that means we were closer to sharing a dream the first time around than we had originally thought! Maybe it's just me, but I think that's awesome. Our chances for success are that much higher already.
