More like the container of your own energy is yourself. I like to draw my power from the moon, it's relaxing.
I dunno if I have reached high enough a level where I can create psi stuff (shields, balls, etc) from my own energy, but I am pretty sure I can. ^^

The crimson blood shimmers on the snow,
The shattered heart weeps of hidden sorrow.
And over a pure white sky,
      rises a black moon.'

      Except the word vampirism. >.<
It depends what you mean by real vampire.

Though I like to vamp people myself, but never to hurt them. xD Some people's energies are so icky. D:

WN, what's your main source of energy? (Why do I get the feeling he's gonna answer 'Everything around me')
Sunlight, moonlight, fresh air, filtered water, healthy food, being in the ocean, being in the jungle, standing under waterfalls, meditation, chanting, drawing energy from the cosmos and the earth. Mainly being outdoors and away from large buildings and machines. I draw energy from people's attention when they give it to me synergystically.

      So, you are pretty correct.

Here is a list of some things that people think give them energy which do not: stimulants, lack of sleep, cold, coffee. Also sugar and low fiber food are kind of minus foods.

Stare at the full moon, bulge your eyes out, and breathe deeply three times. Inhale the moon.

As far as dream energy, I find when I have a good balance of sleep, exercise, and healthy food, I have a lot more energy in dreams. Also, I have learned to guard my energy in dreams and get more energy by sleeping in dreams.

Blood sucking monster in dreams. Energy sucking monster in dreams. Difference?

Processed food is unhealthy for your energy too. I find oranges to energize me like nothing else.

Interesting. I usually sit on the roof and look at it for hours, trying to absorb it's light. It's one of my favorite relaxing things.

I doubt dream energy is related to anything real. Though your dream body IS a replica of your real body (usually) and a healthy real body means healthy dream bodies, I don't think energies in dreams are anywhere near real energies. I belief they are composed more of our thoughts and 'belief' in the dream, as well as emotions.

So you are defining "real vampires" as "blood sucking monsters in dreams"?

It depends what you mean by "real energies."

No, I used the word 'dream' to show I don't believe in real vampirism. (Energy vamping is different.) My point is whether or not a blood sucking monster could vamp you of your dream energy.

I agree with much of what you say, but you must not let people believe that they must have something or do something. I used to be into eating all organic and exercising all the time and other things like that. The problem was I was constantly thinking that I had to do something or have something or be something. You must not be guilty. You do not want to create more guilt. feeling guilty about what you are doing is bad. so don't trip to much on what you eat or where you are. Just do what feels right and it will probably be exactly what you need right now to keep your self in balance and allow yourself to heal.

We have different sources of energy. We draw energy from the earth. We draw energy from the sky from distant stars and the moon. The sun showers us with energy. resting can give us energy drawing it from many sources and allowing yourself to heal. Fresh air is a big one. get plenty of fresh air every day. Sitting in a stuffy house or building all day isn't good for you. Breathe is extremely important. It allows the crap energy to flow out of you and to let everything flow. Get fresh air. People give us energy. The ones who surround us that we connect to. Nature gives us energy. the plants and animals connect to one another. They heal one another. Meditating in nature is very healing. Just do what feels best for you. Don't think you have to do something because it doesn't help. Just flow. Flow when you meditate. Flow when you exercise. Let you self go, the part of you that doesn't flow. This is good.

Also I sleep in dreams to. it allows me to dream longer because I let my energy bodies rest and heal so I'm not to exhausted in the day time. I also meditate in dreams often. It niiice
