1.) Controlling the food supply would help with equal food for people, and wouldn't have some people starving, while can stuff their piggy little faces. |

Depends on who's running it. Think about it, would this gov try to control the food supply of the entire earth? a world army bent on keeping the population of the earth in line? would people be allowed to uprise if the government just wanted to control everything and everyone? |

Who would keep the government in check? What if the government began to create laws that you, as an individual disagreed with? |

I would be the Little Guy making the laws. |

That's why we dream. |

A single world government is bad because, like stated, nothing would be able to prevent it from overstepping its bounds. What if the government is like North Korea, Sudan, etc.? Essentially, it's the worst case scenario because if you become an enemy of the state for any reason, you are an enemy of the people who control everything. |
|
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the law, love under will.
Its pretty difficult to become enemy of the state... |

Very interesting thread. |

The one world government is the inevitable outcome for this planet. It is a step towards global consciousness or one mind made of individual minds. A one world government is bad because it is a government. A government with power over the whole earth. But the same problems and power struggles will remain. The one world government will fail when it triggers the global consciousness. The evolution and natural selection of humans is over now. We don't really have threats to our survival anymore, like animals do. Now it is our consciousness that is evolving at an exponential rate. As soon as we become aware of this it will be like wildfire. It is at the horizon. The internet is a material reflection of the truth of the dream realm or shared mind/ telepathy, etc. Along with a growing discontent with global consumerism and humans already enslaved economically, once there is a one world government, we will be invited to join in the Galactic community/government. The one world government will lose all the power it thought it had because it will become obsolete in the face of the galactic community. Yes, the one world government is bad, but a necessary evil that will last momentarily. Right now Palden Dorje is finishing up his mission to purify the karma of the world. We are going through one last karmic cleansing. The future is bright, and in the end only the absolute reality is real, all other relative realities, while seeming real when viewed from a mind that resonates with the same vibrational frequency, is ultimately nothing more than a fantasy. The hierarchy of reality is funny. Nothing is true and everything is possible is a true statement. What Nomad says is true as he sees it until it is transcended. But it is more true than the current consensus reality that the majority of modern humans resonate with. It is Leela, the Universal Drama of the unfolding global karma. This Earthly realm is supported by the dreamtime, the dreamtime is supported by the shining void, the void is supported by nothing. And that is our true identity. |

I think the pop is either death, or us (the air in the bubble) joining the galactic government in a much bigger bubble. |
|
Dannon, well said. While I might disagree on a few minor points which aren't really worth getting into, the general idea you've described is one I very much resonate with. |
|
Within a bubble within a bubble within a bubble and so on and so forth for eternity, worlds without end. xD |

Thanks for all your fascinating responses, everyone. I have a lot to read here to catch up. You are all such interesting intelligent people. |

I don't know about you guys but i don't think the world's "global karma" is very good at the moment. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Slavery, poverty, corruption and drugs are rife witin our world. I don't think we are in any state to join "a glatic community" |

They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
By dreaming, every day.
That's actually not true. According to the UN, quality of life is improving massively (life expectancy rose from 59 years to 70 years globally over the last 40 years) even in poor countries: |

My username does not mean anything. It's not supposed to signal my religious preferences at all.
Dream Recall: Recall one dream each day for a week (meaning one DJ entry per day)[] Recall three dreams in one night (3 separate dreams in the DJ)[]
Becoming Lucid: Become lucid once[X] Become lucid at least four times in one week[] WILD[]
Dream Control: Fly[]
still their is massive Gab between the poor and the rich their is over 20%(citation needed) of the world's population live on under 1 us dollar a day. and something like 50%(citation needed) of the world's pop doesnt have acceses to clean drinking water (although those statistics are improving) |

The worlds karma definitely isn't getting better. More and more animals are being slaughtered every year, the rain forests are being destroyed. When thinking about karma you need to take into account not only humans, but also the other things inhabiting our planets. |

The global karma appears very bad right now, that is part of the cleansing process. Taking out the garbage is messy. Vacuuming under the couch. The thing is though, that people are more aware of the it, the global condition, the humanitarian conditions, the socio-economic-political conditions, etc... This awareness is what is growing, thanks a lot to the internet. The awareness is what is growing, and it is this awareness which will triumph once the critical mass is achieved. The polarity is blatantly obvious and strong. The level of spiritual growth is relevant to the level of suffering in the world. Suffering is the great motivator, which motivates us to become more aware of ourselves and to build a bridge to how we want our world to be and the way it is presently. People are generally so much aware of the folly of organized religion, for one. The age of reason has culminated, and we are moving into the age of awareness. |

I have come to very similar conclusions as you, but I have one question. |

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake
Before I read the word "salvia" I thought... "sounds like salvia." Yes... Nothing is terrifyingly amazing. |
|
The Everything is a dream. How does a dream happen? All these different realms, life and death, gods battling, conspiracy theories, science and mysticism, are all false awakenings. Upon ultimate awakening there is nothing, just the ISness that you are, that always was and always will be, because like you said, there is no time. Anyway, this is Nomad's thread and this is a place for us to learn from him. |
|
Think about it this way: If your country is headed toward a shitstorm or you dont like how it views certain things, you can always fly over to another and start life anew. If there's only one government for the entire planet, you dont have that option. Wouldn't you rather have a choice between multiple governments? |
