I didn't say shared dreaming didn't exist.
What I was trying to point out, however, is story-wise, he's full of beans. Some people are disconnected from reality much more than others

Who cares. Reality is all about of having fun and tasting emotions, doesn't matter how.
Sure you can't have real money in dreams, but after all, what's their real use in the awake life?
Yeah. Shared serial dreaming sucks. Please don't try it!
I have been working on making my waking life like my dream life. Here's an example of epic epicness of my waking life:
On Saturday, it was my cousin's 21st birthday. We went to a packed ass club at 10 pm, with a line about a hundred people long. We got in VIP for free pretty randomly. No waiting in line. I randomly called up one single friend and invited him. He's a shy dude in his 30's, but he comes out once in awhile. I told him it was my cousin's birthday. He was shocked, because it was his birthday also, and I had no idea. He was going to do nothing for his birthday. My friend joined the party, and was also able to come in VIP for free!
After the club shut down, we ended up at a free under Full Moon Spring Equinox rave at a secret beach! We partied and danced until the sun came up. It was a lovely night.
This is how my life is all the time. It's a beautiful dream, and a terrifying nightmare simultaneously, but I embrace it all.
So, I actually have made my life like a role-playing game. I wear make up and costumes sometimes when I go out. It's fucking fun!
Man, I love beans! Black beans are great on burritoes. I try to eat beans every day. True, I am totally disconnected from reality. Don't believe anything I say for a minute!
Don't you understand? The whole purpose of beliefs is to limit ourselves. :D
Isnt the whole fun of lucid dreaming making it into a role playing game and arnt we all on this site to share our dream experiences with each other and try new things?
Lately I have been trying to become aware of my dream body more in waking life. But after doing magic mushrooms yesterday I found its even more important to be aware of your spirit body. In dreams you are more naturally aware of your spirit body.Quote:

I have also begun to realize people who are more connected to their dream energy body in waking life. They often take things less seriously and are more fun. People's dream bodies differ in strength. People who I've taken to other dream worlds have stronger dream bodies than most people. My dream body is stronger than anyone else I've met in waking life except for one person, and that person is way more powerful than me. People who are more connected to their spirit body, are more closer to the awareness that we are only souls visiting this plane of existence. They are more aware of their emotions.
Sounds like your starting a cult.
LoL Who knows you might be right. The world and reality itself seems so strange that nothing would suprise me.
How can everything be true?
if everything is true then conversely everything is false. It is failing to take into account an absolute reality present somewhere somehow. Perhaps we dont experience reality fully but that doesnt mean there isnt something real beyond ourselves.
I think I get it now,
I think I kinda get where your coming from Nomad, at first when I read this thread I thought that you were a little nuts. But as stated above, I think it is possible for everything to be true, BUT, I don't think we should take anything too litrally either.
I think the only reason that this reality is really holding itself together is because of the overwhelming belief in it all, and not just from sentiant beings but from all physical forms.
Life is a wonderful, more concrete shared dream :)
BTW - I still think your a little nuts :) - but thats a good thing. You need to belevie in your own things, rather than excepting what is - that helps us to evolve - both consciously and physically
This thread makes for some seriously entertaining reading.
He can start his own cult with this stuff.
It's a cult with a hell of a lot of schisms, then.
That's an interesting concept, and I used to believe in it myself for many years. However, upon further thought, Level I parallel universes aren't really plausible. One would think that, with an infinite amount of occurrences, any one event would happen at least once. Take a 6-sided die, for instance. You might roll only 3s for your first hundred rolls, but over infinitely many rolls, you're bound to get each number at least once.
If you expand the die to every potential event in the universe, however, the implications become unrealistic. If the universe were infinite, every single possibility must occur at least once, at least somewhere. That means that, somewhere, there's an exact copy of this planet and every single event up to this point. However, at each moment, every possible divergence occurs, and again from each moment thereafter. There has to be some place where an exact copy of me makes this post, but begins it with the letter "a." There has to be another one where I post the letter "b." There actually must be two of each, one intentional and the other unintentional. There has to be one where someone walks into the room and types that one letter for me. Repeat that for every living person on the planet. Not only do "a" and "b" have to be somewhere, but each letter does, as well as each alphanumeric character and symbol. If you add another character, the possibilities increase. But this continues endlessly, and there would have to be a situation in which I post a line of random gibberish 53489763432435^45 lines long. Switch out each character for another. Quite frankly, that would never occur. Even with infinitely many scenarios, free will and inherent reason, as well as time constrictions, would prevent that from ever taking place.
Therefore, the physical universe is finite. Not every possibility takes place, even with an infinite number of occurrences.
How do you know we live in a multiverse?
