Hello, been lurking these boards for a while and finally posting now.
Got my first lucid dream in 6 months this way - did it accidentally and ended up having a very vivid lucid dream that lasted well over 30 minutes.
Anyhow, what I did was after I woke up, I was up for around 5-10 minutes awake, lying in my bed. Then, I closed my eyes in order to fall asleep once again. For some reason, I tried making up continuous lines of a "story" (maybe I was bored and was just thinking things for no reason)
For example, in my head I just said something to the sort of "This girl walked along the city and the city's tall buildings loomed into the sky where the birds flew around looking down at the many people walking around through the maze of cars honking at the traffic clogged up in the drain that led into the sewer where rats live and eat bread that people bake in the bakeries........"
All the while I was creating the imagery for the things involuntarily, just the things that come to mind when I say those words. Don't concentrate on them, just let them flow from your mind.
Soon enough, after just a couple lines of making up things, I hear very loud "KRACK" and sizzlings noises from my ears and I knew it was possibly a WILD. The first time I never expected it so I opened my eyes, but I tried the same thing again, and once again I heard the loud cracking and sizzling noise.
Soon enough I was half-aware of a dream city and I managed to look around and begin my lucid dream, complete transition from being awake to being in the dream.
Sorry for the long post and personal experience, but I'd like to know if anyone could possibly try this technique and see if it helps to induce a WILD or lucid dream.
By the way, I had no awareness of SP or vibrations. Just loud noise and images.
