I hope for a good DILD at least once a night, but I usually only get a DILD around five nights a week.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

DILDs are the only method I've successfully used so far. I usually get them once or twice a week, as long as I'm writing in my dream journal.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

I guess it's too early to say, but now that I've found couple of techniques suitable for me, it looks like it will be two LDs per month. I can only dream about five LDs in a week. :-D

I find it even stranger how some people can have their first LDs after a week of practicing and recalling (only) 5 to 10 dreams in a week, when I've been practicing SOOOO long and my recall is about three dreams per night. Yet, I have had only five LDs so far, three now that I've been trying to have them. Although it seems I'll have a LD when I'm not trying too hard to have one.

Perhaps a combined DILD and FILD count of up to 6 times a week, when I am really trying, updating DJ and practicing WBTB and the like. Otherwise if I just focus on lucid dreaming before going to bed, I have a DILD about 4 or 5 times a week.

The crimson blood shimmers on the snow,
The shattered heart weeps of hidden sorrow.
And over a pure white sky,
      rises a black moon.'
