      Some WILD Magic Mushrooms

This is a question that had been bothering me for a days time. What if I were to take shrooms, and while they were kicking in, attempt a WILD? Do you think the silocybin in the mushrooms will make it harder to fall asleep? Will i be able to become lucid? If so, what will the dream world look like?

I do hope someone has an answer

I suspect falling asleep would be highly unlikely, though you may well experience vivid imagery if you managed to lie there with your eyes closed. More likely, your mind would wander and you'd forget what you were doing and get up to find something else to do
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

It's really hard to fall asleep on mushrooms. Not impossible, but I think if you took them you'd just be completely awake and tripping.

Last time I experimented with shrooms, which was 2 years ago I tried lying in bed, tried to relax and that did not work out so well, unfortunatley I started to have a real bad trip, but hey that's just me. I actually don't recommend tripping alone, some people do it and get by fine, but everyones different.

Random unrelated correction: it's spelled psilocybin btw.

Thanks for the input guys. I figured since seretonin is a chemical that keeps you awake, it would be tough to fall asleep. But Iv'e tripped alone a number of times, all resulting in positive and enlightening experiences. I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones

I've had, literally, thousands of trips (both alone and in company) and never once had a "bad trip".

The last time I'd a mushie trip, I'd a pretty involved "semi-WILD(?)" that my consciousness was an expression of planet earth working through DNA.

Sounds quite bland, baldly stated, but felt almost like an epiphany at the time.

I have done two shrooms trips at night before. Both times I only took one gram (enough for me to feel it a little bit) and both times I wasn't really expecting to fall asleep but I did. Unfortunately I can't remember the dreams I had. I'm planning on doing more experiments with magic mushrooms and sleep. It's certainly possible. If anybody else has any success with mushrooms and sleep please post, I'm interested to see what others experience.

Sleeping on shrooms? What a waste of a trip.

Whenever i've been baked for more that 3 hours I get into that really heavy and lazy stage where I find sleeping takes less than a minute. For some reason 2/3 of the times I sleep stoned I have lucids. Could just be me though. Shrooms would do the opposite and keep you awake though

      Good idea!
You don't need to have your mind fall asleep, just need to lose body consciousness, which is very fun and enlightening on a mushroom trip. I have experimented with this a lot. What you do is after you peak, or while you are peaking is you lay down and relax. Tune in. Visualize your body as just an outline drawn by a thick dark pencil. Feel it as an outline. Then visualize it being erased. Amazing stuff happens then!!!

I used to have a magic sleeping bag I would use. I would eat a bunch of mushrooms and crawl into my sleeping bag and go on a trip around the universe. I would stick my head out of the sleeping bag a few hours later and suddenly remember where I was and who I was!

In my opinion, you may not have a classical lucid dream, but something just as good and that is how mushrooms are meant to be taken!!!!

Good luck, let me know how it goes.

No not a waste of a trip. It is peaceful and relaxing.

If you take a dosis that will produce a fullblown psychedelic experience you are very unlikely to fall asleep at all for the next 5 to 6 hours.
If you, however, take a significantly lower dose than that required to produce a full on psychedelic experience, then you might be able to fall asleep on it.

Sleeping at the end of mushroom trips, when I was no longer on the peak but still very defenitely under it's effects, I have often had extremely, vivid, realistic and well remembered dreams.
Same, or actually even more so for LSD.

Taking 1 tiny mushroom some 30 minutes before bedtime might do wonders for you.

I tried to go to sleep on them and I could not. I did get some major bed spins though.
