      Was this a deild??

I don't think it was but if anyone can help me out and tell me what it was it would be good because it's my third one now. I woke up around 4 and tried to deild, but I couldn't get into a dream so I tried to get back to sleep. Around 30 minutes later I felt a big vibration through my body so I knew it was a dream. I don't know how I knew I just did, when I opened my eyes it was pitch black and I still felt very tired. So I done a reality check and it was definately a dream, so from then I just done some techniques to stabalize the dream.

Hmm not too sure, but at least you got something working. That "vibration" is pretty cool, good that you noticed that you were dreaming so well.

I'm curious: what happened between you opening your eyes, and doing the dream stabilisation? I assume the pitch black darkness gave way to some visible scenery.

If I'm right: Did you consciously make it lighten up or did it just happen? And was it in your room (or whatever your location of sleeping) or somewhere else?

I guess it could technically be either a WILD or a DEILD. It seems more like a WILD though because DEILDs are like WILDs but very fast compared (generally under the one minute mark). I think half an hour might be too long to class as directly from the exit of a dream so I would say WILD.

A similar experience happened to me on my second night after reading about DV. I tryed to fall asleep consciously whilst staying in one position and after a while tingling sensations occurred throughout my body. Not long after that happened, I was in a dream and immediately knew I was dreaming, without using any RCs. What type of lucid dream was this, as I am not too sure. (WILD, perhaps?)

It's tough to bring someone back that never really lived.

between opening my eyes and dream stabalization, not much happened except me get out of bed, and try to turn the lights on, i dont know why cuz i knew it wouldnt work, lol. then i went straight to stabalizing because it was so dark. it was my exact house even downstairs and yes i did conciously make it more visible.

OP's could of been a DEILD or WILD, yours is a WILD. Have you not read up on it yet or something?

Afraid I haven't read up too much about lucid dreaming as I have only recently become aware of Dream Views, but thanks for the help and I will get right into it.
