That adrenaline rush always awaking me when my reality checks work (rarely...), it's too strong and I can't stay in my dream, I have only had one lucid dream since 2 years |

SPEEEEEEEEEEEEED !

...that's all for now ¬.¬
When you're dreaming or are going through the stages of sleep there is a chemical shift in youre brain. This chemical shift is what determines whether you are concious or unconcious. When you become lucid you begin to tip this balance more toward the concious side, but not enough to wake you up usually. The more you lucid dream, the farther you can tip this balance while you sleep. When you experience extreme fear, adrenaline, or any emotion such as those, they also help tip the balance either waking you up or making your dream more vivid |

what i would hate was when i was being chased and it felt like i was trying to run through water. So what i did in my dream (when there was someone trying to run away from someone with me) i said "move your arms like this" and i would move my arms like i was trying to swim through water and it made me think i could run faster. hehe |

Fart! When my adrenaline rushes it wakes me up usually. |

Yeah, I've had two Lucid Dreams so far... Well not really dreams but 'moments' and both times have been when adrenalin starts pumping. First time it was when I was about to be arrested by a cop (damn cops) and I was like suddenly "this is a dream" and the second time was when some huge drunk guy beat my door down. Both times I realised I was dreaming, but the adrenalin and shock woke me up, and I could feel the dream fading, no matter how hard I tried to spin. |
|
have you ever been really scared in a dream? that's weird! i remember in my dream i woke up and i went to teh bathrom, and i looked at myself in the mirror and my face looked like Linda blair's in the movie Exorcist and i startedgetting really scared, and i started yelling for my mom, but my voice was really low, (like a mans! ) and i was saying to myself "i'm dreaming, i'm dreaming" and i couldn't wake up, then i got so scared that i forced myself to wake up. |

Or maybe something like the mother bird pushing the baby bird off the nest so it has to fly or die. |

LDs: 1ish
Well my last LD happened when my dad almost drove us into a huge crack in the street, and i just KNEW i was dreaming. And many of my ND's that I remember have me doing something that pumps up my adrenaline. |

"A thousand years is but an instant. There's nothing new, nothing different. Same pattern, over and over." --Ryan, Waking Life.
it wasn't a lucid but last night i was ranting at george bush, and it lasted quite a while, and i was really angry. maybe the anger had something to do with the fact that my dream was far less random than usual. |
