      Blind Peope??

What do they dream of??? I've never gave this a thought untill now, it probably depends if they were born blind or not.

I know I've read somewhere that blind people do dream the same as we do, but I don't know if the examples were from people who were blind since birth or not.

Speaking of this, has anyone heard that story about the man who has been conscious in his paralyzed body for 20 years and they only just recently discovered that he was fully conscious? I would KILL to be able to teach that man how to lucid dream. Surely it would relieve some the horrible pain he has to go through in his life.

Just found this tidbit of information about blind peoples' dreams from the HowStuffWorks page on REM sleep:

People who have been blind from birth have dreams that are formed from their other senses (e.g., touch, smell, sound).

I went on itunes and searched lucid dreams. Under the search it broke up different selections, like songs/albums etc. It had some stuff under itunes U, which is itunes university. Its free podcasts of college lectures and stuff and one that came up under Ld's was UC Berkeley, which has a class on Psychology. One of the lectures talks about the topic of this thread (briefly), and the professor talks about how Christopher Reeve (superman) had been introduced to Ld's as well as similar patients. And that story of the guy in the Netherlands is kind of horrifying, but hopefully therapists and scientists look into more LD research to help such individuals.
