Good Recall but still no lucidity!!

I've been trying to attain lucidity for a few nights by now and here's how I set up my last night:
I went to sleep at 2am and set up two timers one that went off two hours later at 4am and one that went off four hours later at 6am.
My plan was to WBTB at 4am and to DEILD at 6am in case the WBTB didn't work.
I woke up at 4am with the first alarm, didn't recall any dreams, tried WBTB but failed and fell asleep. The alarm went off again at 6am but I didn't hear it and woke up at 8.40 a bit disappointed since I felt like I didn't dream at all.
In about 5 minutes I started recalling (I remember thinking: "If all that didn't happen for real then I must have been dreaming!"). I remember 2 separate dreams and I wrote them down in every detail (about 6 pages) Then I had 2 other "minidreams" and I felt like I created them (the situations) but didn't control them.

I feel I dream a lot and I have fairly good recall but I still can't focus on a reality check!! Am I getting close? Which technique do you think I should use/set up next night? Maybe I should do more reality checks during the day? Any tips are very welcome!

Thank you all for helping me! As I wrote before, I'm so not giving up!!!

Not giving up is a good idea. Great, in fact. But it takes time for lucidity to come. It won't just happen within one week. (Though for few people it does) All I can say is to keep at it and don't give up.

I think a few months is a more realistic timeframe to achieve lucidity.

I feel like I'm getting really close! I keep having 3 or more dreams every night. They're very vivid as I can remember all the details.. the thing that is weird though is that in my last dream I remember looking up words on a greek vocabulary and the words made sense, I mean I could remember the word that I looked up and it was printed fine! I thought typed words didn't make any sense in dreams!?

Ding ding ding, we have a winner.
Haven't had a lucid dream in 3 years, and I'm looking to get back into it.

If you feel like your close then you are.
It only took me 3 days to be able to recall 4 dreams a night.
a month to have a Lucid. good luck!!

keep doing reality checks throughout the day and continue to write down all your dreams, maybe my thread could help encourage you http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=84718
