RC is the basic technique for DILD.
It takes step by step, which means I develpoed it by myself.
I'm going to explain within my own experience so I'd recommend it to newbies and
those who doen't work Wilding except Dilding a few times.
1. First day
On the cafe site, along the facts, they say that do sticking finger thru palm and nose shuting, or any similar techniques to those first,
and do it more than 21 times. But I wanted to dream LD quickly so I did RC like hundred times.
How to do RCing: I think I am dreaming now. If I break my finger I think I can! (breaks) Whoa!(didn't break)
My finger's broken!(even it's not, just pretend to be) So this is a dream? ok let me check one more time bc this is a dream!
and I can do nose shuting! (do it) wow!!(it's not possible) I can breathe! this was a dream. Good, now I am well prepared to dream LD!!!
and I did this 30 times. I slept tonight. Nothing happened in the dream.....
2. Same method above; first week
I did RCing so many times for a week. More than 21 times... but nothing happened for 7 days. what's the problem??
I was disappointed but I never gave up. I slept tonight. I think I was aware that I'm dreaming for the first time.
but I wasn't sure. I felt like I was aware that I'm dreaming was a part of dream's story and I wasn't aware by myself.
I think it was very faint awareness.
- it doesn't take only one week, it takes more than that-
3. Same method above; second and third week
I did RCing as always. I slept. I think I can be aware for one time in 4 or 5 days.
But when I am aware I'm like in #2 SITUATION or I just wandering around thinking 'I think this is a dream, is it?' or
even if I do RC, I just dont look at it doing it. and even though the non-realistic things appear in the dream, I just ignore it...
but when I see those things I should be aware. I think I know the one reason. I always do RCing at home, at school, at everywhere I go,
but in dream, I go to space or star or something like that so I can't do RCing at those places.
So when I sleep tonight, I keep thinking that I'm gonna bring RCing habit to dream as it is.... and I sleep.
*you can think about 'taliking about LD or Wilding'. *
3-1. Same method above(#3); third-fourth, fifth week
what the heck is this?
I keep doing RCing in dream but it doesnt work......
Why?? I feel very weird... now I can do RC in dream for many times,
but it just doesnt work and when I wake up I shout 'damn it!'
Sometimes even if I do RC, I am not aware that I'm dreaming...
I have to find the other way.
ex) I will be arrived at the dream sign place in few minutes. So I do RC, but strangely, I do believe that
this is the real world and I don't look that I'm RCing. I just ignore.
4. Change in RC method
I've been practicing LD for 3 weeks but I didnt succeed.
I think I have to change the method for RC.
And I think sticking finger through the palm and nose shuting are limited formular for Dilding.
So I've decided to do like this.
- When I open the refrig door, I think 'if this is a dream, a monkey will come out of the refrig.'. When I go to
bathroom, I imagine that I can change the structure of the bathroom. When I go outside, I imagine that the school is located
right infront of me. When I wandering outside, I think and say that 'wow dream is sooo similar to the real world!' and when I
light up the bedroom switch, I imagine that the light will be red. And I keep look at the cell phone time again and again or I do RC often.
(any method like these are practical. you can find the other way.)
ex) I woke up for a minute during sleep. I make sure that my bedroom structure is same as usual and I do RC.
If my bedroom is not right, then it is dream.
5. Doing same RC method above(#4) for 2-3 weeks...it means that I've been RCing over a month.
I still couldn't dream perfect LD. Should I give up? no, everything will be in vain...
I keep RCing, breaking fingers, sticking finger thru palm, and nose shuting.
Before I sleep I say "I am not gonna be fooled this time!!!", hanging around at the dream sign place. Then I sleep.
I slept.
I was hanging around in town that appears in my dream many times.
When I was playing with a kid, I looked at the watch. it's 4:10...oh damn Ive got to go! Just then, something just passed in my head.
I looked around at the other things, then I looked at my watch again. huh? dang it's 6:30.
that time is when my tutor ends... what the? why did the time just went to 6:30? maybe this is a dream? Oh! this IS a dream!
oh yeah!! if this is dream I can break my finger. (I do it) (it worked now lol)
whoaa how could this happen?!!?
ok let's do another way! yeah!! like shuting the nose and then breathe!!!
(I do it) (of course it works TT lollol) oh yeah now I'm gonna bomb the school!!!!!!!! hahahahahajasadfsjhdfglkhgdfdjkslrty
6. how about change it more a little bit...
yesterday I dreamed LD. It was damn good. lol
Now I have pride. Keep RCing like #4 above, I think it's cool and fun.
Once again, I change the method like #4.
Any weird or non-realistic things, or a tiny tiny bit similar to that happens in the real world, do RC.
For example, I listened to ipod. When I pick another song, ipod lights up on the screen. bc of that light,
I looked at the ceilng, and that afterimage looked like a ghost's head.
I was little freaked out, but I thought whaaa?? why the ghost? and I did RC.
(sometimes I get paranoid, and I do RC.)
When I find out dream 'factors' in the real world, I think my observation has developed.
*point: Make sure that when you see something usual, think what is weird.
If you catch it deeply, you'll notice many things like above.
7. Been practicing LDing for a month or 2 months.....last method!
now I can dream LD 2 or 3 times a week. I'm so happy.. yay
but sometimes RC doesn't work, still......
I have to think about how to solve it.
There's a one way to do it.
Remember what you did 5 minutes, 10 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour ago.
I think this way is good. I do RC. Let's change that method agian.
So I've figured about 'serial Rcing' and 'serious RCing'.
question is what the heck are those??
Serial RCing is about number 4 and 5 above.
Serious RCing is about flashbacking 5, 10 and 30 mins ago.
I do both ways at the same time. (this is really important.)
*point: you can do seiral RCing like nose RC or breaking finger during talking or doing something or at any time.
Serious RCing takes time though, but you can harmonize it with serial RCing.
8. Final stage
I slept.
When I open the refrig door, I summon a monkey. Say whaaa?!!?!?
I think it's suspicious so I break my finger...(dang it didn't break!)
oh right!! I have to flashback. What I did 3 minutes ago....5 mins ago.....was..
shoot I was at SPACE 5 mins ago............
What the???? is this really a dream?? Break my finger again. Broke.....

8-1.(bonus) Just a tip for newbies
This is my personal thought.
Don't you wonder that why don't I become lucid when I see non-realitic things?
When you see a monster, you just think to tun away, right? Why is that?
Personally, I think y'all do that.
But here's the case.
Becoming lucid when you tried to run but you don't run well is often become more lucid-ier than
becoming lucid when you see a monster.
The reason is when your body becomes threaten or do not work well you think 'huh?' and become
lucid right away.
When you see a monster, you just get scared, not sudden-bewildered.
What I'm trying to say is when your own's will does not work, more dreadful will become more lucidier.

how to get reminded often for RCing.
1) Do you have your own cell phone? Change the main screen on your phone to big letter "RC".
It will always remind you up!
2) Get a paper and a balck marker. Write "LUCID DREAM" or "RC" or whatever you like to write that deals with LD and
put it on the ceiling so you can see it before you go to sleep.
3) Write RC on your palm.
